Yes I am.
We lost by a TD to Atlanta, a game where JPL threw for a whopping 75 yards at home. He followed that up with another 75 yard performance against the nomad Saints of all teams, and we scored only 3 points against the Bucs in his 2nd game. A 1-3 hole is VERY difficult to dig out of.
You don't think a good QB could've won at least 3 of the first game games? Football's all about momentum, so who knows what happens if we started strong.
It's definately not all his fault -- the OL has been weak, the D has had its bad moments (especially recently), but in September, those losses fall VERY heavily on JPL's shoulders IMHO.
Listen, I'm one of the biggest OL complainers, but again, a good QB would've won a few of those games up front, putting us in a position to make the playoffs.
