The Avs scored a "no goal" tonight against the Wild (and won 4-3...). The Avs player bumped into the net as another player shot the puck. The guy bumping the net lifted it off the moorings a bit, and the puck slid under the net. No review, goal stands. Same ol' NHL. CW

Yes I am. We lost by a TD to Atlanta, a game where JPL threw for a whopping 75 yards at home. He followed that up with another 75 yard performance against the nomad Saints of all teams, and we scored only 3 points against the Bucs in his 2nd game. A 1-3 hole is VERY difficult to dig out of. You don't think a good QB could've won at least 3 of the first game games? Football's all about momentum, so who knows what happens if we started strong. It's definately not all his fault -- the OL has been weak, the D has had its bad moments (especially recently), but in September, those losses fall VERY heavily on JPL's shoulders IMHO. Listen, I'm one of the biggest OL complainers, but again, a good QB would've won a few of those games up front, putting us in a position to make the playoffs. CW

Everyone in the offseason said, "Anybody can play better than DB!" The coaches all but said that themselves when they handed him the job. We were supposed to be a playoff team this year and JPL is a big reason why we're not. The defense had a huge dropoff which is definately another reason, but part of that falls on JPL as well (just like it did when DB struggled). That said, I havn't seen too many people bashing JPL -- that seems reserved for everyone else on the team. CW

He's LIMITED in practice. That's not the same as "throwing ok in practice." If the kid's injured, you want to risk putting him in the game? Remember when TKO was had a "sore leg" at the start of the season, and he was told (privately) what the risk was to continue playing? Who are you to say that the doctors havn't said the same thing could happen to JPL's shoulder if he throws in a game? You want him out for next season rehabbing? You're not a doctor, I'm not a doctor, and we're not privy to 99% of what's going on at OBD. To take your guesses and claim them as fact is ridiculous. CW

If that were the only way to watch a movie in widescreen, I would defiantely do that for you. However, since you can watch a widescreen movie on any TV (even a 13" black and white!), you'll have to make due with what you already have. Sorry! CW

Great article. However, I would disagree with this part: I think the Packers have the claim to fame for this one. They lost their 4th stringer RB on Monday night... And have lost how many other players to injury this year??? I say it all the time when people scream to get rid of TD, MM, DB, etc- the grass is always greener on the other side. CW

Yeah, watching the show gives a much deeper understanding of the universe, the characters, etc. The people at work who saw the movie (but not the series) said the same thing you did -- good movie, but not the best thing since sliced bread (although you have to admit it was better than Phantom Menace and Clone Wars ). When I continced the people to go back and watch the show, they were blown away and couldn't wait to see the movie a second time. There's a reason that the series is STILL the #6 selling DVD at Amazon, even after 2+ years of release. Momentum is growing. (for the record, Serenity is #1 ). CW
