If you already have the antenna up though, you can get DirecTV and use the antenna to watch your locals in HD and it integrates transparently with the DirecTV guide. I did that up until last month. You'll need the AM21 to connect to the HR21 (or H21), but DirecTV gives that out for free if you don't have locals in HD.

Where do you live? Almost everyone has locals nowadays....

Last year my wife and I went to Mighty Taco. She'd never been there before and I didn't talk about it at all (other than to annoy her with the "Mighty Taco... Mighty Taco... Mighty Taco...." commercial. ) Anyway, to make a long story short, she LOVED it and said it didn't even come close to Taco Bell. She makes a point to go there every time we visit WNY now. So no, it's not some nostalgia from WNY-lovers. It's just better.

I never wished harm on Marino. I hated the Fish, but I respected them (until Jimmy Johnson, anyway). This one, I was actually happy about. As others have said, Karma.

Just be careful who you lend it out to -- unless they changed it from last year, you're sharing out your entire DirecTV account, meaning whoever you give it to can order new programming, hardware, etc, under your account.

Football in HD on TV is *FAR* better than football in real life in the Metrodome. Seriously. Of course football in SD on a 13" B&W TV is still slightly better than football in real life in the Metrodome.

I live in Minnesota -- there's no way that the Vikes deserve to be on the list. They'd probably be in the mid-20s at best. Fans here are VERY fair-weathered. When I was in college in the mid-90s, I saw more people wearing Bills stuff on campus than I did Vikings stuff -- in the heart of Minneapolis! Fans here only pay attention to a winner. The second you start to slip, they lose interest.
