  1. 1st car: 1999 Camry 2nd Car: Same as you
  2. Are you talking about preseason games? If so, that has nothing to do with DirecTV -- a network for the home team generally produces the games, not the NFL. That's why DirecTV doesn't include preseason in the Sunday Ticket package. If you're talking regular season -- DirecTV already streams the games on the internet, so in essence, the NFL does offer streaming games through the internet, just with the help of a 3rd party.
  3. I thought it was more sad that the Bills' last non-HD game was week 14 of last season...
  4. Crazy but true! Of course in typical Buffalo fashion, the HD feed was only available in NYC.... http://www.hdsportsguide.com/news/2008/nfl...nition-history/
  5. Nobody's saying that Bose sounds bad (aside from them cutting off the highs/lows...). But they're WAY more expensive than speakers that sound MUCH better. It's like Monster cable. Do they work? Yeah. Can you get a much cheaper cable that does the exact same thing? Yeah.

  8. You seriously bought Wavy Lays and not Troyer Farms? And no Bison dip?? And no cute cashier???? Your party is lame...
  9. Troyer Farms salt and vinegar chips. Or how about one of the pretty cashiers...?
  10. If you already have the HD package, no.
  11. That doesn't appear to work in "Gmail for Domains." Not sure how to enable that...
  12. NFL Network is just a channel, same as ESPN, Lifetime, FoodTV, etc. Nothing special and it's included in every DirecTV package as far as I know. Sunday Ticket is what gives you every NFL game (that's televised on FOX/CBS) during the entire regular season (NOT preseason). Superfan is an add-on to Sunday Ticket and gives you all of the games in HD (where available), as well as some other cool things like "Short Cuts" (every game cut down to 30 minutes) and the ability to stream any game to your PC (useful if you're out of town). Circuit City had a deal where if you bought a new TV ($500 or more) and got DirecTV, you'd get 4 months of programming AND NFL Sunday Ticket for free. Not sure if they're still doing that. A DirecTV rep told me that while I was looking at a TV. I said, "What if I already have DirecTV?" She said I wasn't eligable.

  14. You could'vfe gotten it on Amazon for about $85. But yeah, it's a ripoff. Then again, I had to pay $30 for a hardwired LAN connection on the Wii -which is even lamer, since that costs about $0.10 to produce. At least wireless costs a little more to make.
  15. Happy birthday!!! Switch to DirecTV yet?
  16. Preseason games are all owned and produced by independent stations, not the NFL. Therefore, they're not part of Sunday Ticket.
  17. Try trading out of the first?
  18. Yes, buy a 360 (check the Consumer Forum - lots of people have their gamertag posted so you can add them as your friends). http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=52601 However, do NOT buy the extended warranty - waste of money. Microsoft has a 3 year warranty on the 360. And if something does go bad, you could theoretically send it back to MS, go to Best Buy, buy another 360, then return it in 30 days... Not sure if that's ethical or not, but I asked two of their employees if I could do that and they both said no problem. I did it, and it went fine. You can buy from Best Buy and get a free wireless controller: http://www.xbox360fanboy.com/2008/08/10/36...or-15-and-more/ In addition, save your receipt -- Microsoft is expected to announce a price cut at the start of September: http://www.xbox360fanboy.com/2008/08/02/ma...-for-september/ Best Buy should honor the price reduction if it's within 30 days.
  19. Oh man, I've always wanted to see Alburquerque live but he's never played it when I've gone. Do you have any Bear Claws? Wait a minute, I'll go check!
  20. Turns out it wasn't just "some guy" or a "relative of an Olympian." It was the freak'n CEO of Bachman's! They're a huge flower company and are based here in the Twin Cities. Wow... http://www.startribune.com/sports/olympics...L7PQLanchO7DiUs
