Yes, but FiSD was asking why it worked for him. It's because there are repeaters in his area. Nobody installed terrestrial repeaters where you live because they're afraid of getting killed due to the high violent crime rate.

Not preparing and having difficulty staying motivated are two entirely different things. Maybe you had trouble reading my first response, but nowhere did he say "I'm not preparing!" He simply said, "It's difficult to prepare." You're lying to yourself if you don't think you'd have difficulty staying upbeat and motivated in the same situation. :lol:

He didn't say he's NOT preparing, he's saying that it's difficult to get motivated to do so. I completely understand. Wouldn't it be hard for you to motivate yourself to do a job, knowing that there's a 95% chance that you won't actually have to do anything?

I've referred several people at work over the past three months (nothing to do with WIVB/Linn), and they're all looking for me after seeing the bill -- to thank me and ask themselves why they didn't switch sooner. And half the people I've referred have since referred 1-2 people themselves. It's turning into quite the pyramid scheme... Except nothing trickles down to me

You can get DirecTV or Dish for television and keep TW for cable internet. That's what I do (except I have Comcast).

The original mini-series was great. Sci-fi, mixed with Nazi references. Very cool. Then the creator was kicked off the show and it turned into the Final Battle... Which wasn't very good. Then they cut the budget and made the weekly show and it was dreadful.

Yeah. Wife and I drove down towards Lacrosse yesterday. Stopped in a few parks and outlooks and it was awesome. We even got to see a bald eagle soaring above us. I managed a few pictures, but I don't think they turned out well - by the time I put my 300mm lens, the bird was gone

That quote from TW is hilarious because those three companies (well, at least Dish and DirecTV) have just recently completed negotiations with LIN-TV. The difference is that they did it before the drop-dead date, unlike TW. They're obviously trying to make customers say, "Oh, if I switch, the same thing will happen with whoever else I choose," and that's just not accurate. That's not entirely true. You'd be able to get the signal with a large, directional antenna with a pre-amp according to Antennaweb.org. Why would you hold TW blameless? They're both trying to throw their weight around, and the people who are suffering are customers and WIVB.
