My brother-in-law was in Toronto on business, and one of his coworkers had some Bills tickets and invited him to yesterday's game. This morning I received the following message from him: "Bills fans are awesome. I think they are livlier than Packer fans by a ton. Stadium sucked in terms of parking traffic and beer sales. But seriously, "wide right" again?????" When I mentioned the lackluster playcalling on the final drive he said: "We were trying to explain that the Pack just tried that a few weeks ago and we all know how that ended. Oh, and Browns fans are morons. Lots of fights." So there you have it from a neutral third party - Bills fans rock, even if the team sucks. (we all already knew that, but it's nice to have independent verification )

They called timeout because the playclock was almost at 0. Would you rather have had the delay of game penalty and had 1st and goal at the 6? The players milled around waiting to see if the refs would give the TD, and by the time they regrouped there wasn't enough playclock left.

The league does air games locally (Cleveland and Buffalo) that are normally on cable.

I haven't been to Vegas in a decade, but the Excalibur had a nice sports book at the time. In addition, they had a game where you could predict whether the next play was a run, pass, sack, completion, etc. I played that, was up about $50 at halftime, and the system mysteriously crashed.... Not sure if they still have it there or not.

The Bills of the 90s were both classy, sporting, and good. Like I said, I don't want a guy like Wilfork who cheap shots players all day long. That's classless, and that's the type of player that Belichek hires. And of course, he cheats as well. No way.

I agree that every team has injuries -- but remember we were without both Reed AND Parrish for a game or two. Combine that with the fact that Hardy generally appears lost on the field and we have a receiving corp similar to Seattle's.... How would that NOT affect a young quarterback?

I personally think the loss of Josh Reed is a bigger issue than most people are giving credit for. He was always making big first-down plays for the offense. Reed has since been replaced by Hardy who generally appears lost on the field.

The booth never made the call, that's the problem. The booth tells the official whether they should look at it or not. They didn't want the ref to look at it, so it wasn't reviewed. Which is lame. Regardless of what happened, when it's that close, it should be a review especially since individual teams can't choose to review it at that point.

You can always watch it on nfl.com. They even had multiple feeds so you could watch different angles last night, although the PQ wasn't the greatest.

And yet you're not complaining about the 14 iterations of ESPN being on the basic tier, are you...? Why are they given a special place over NFLN? And why has every other cable and sat carrier in the country (I believe) signed a deal to put it on the basic tier...?
