  1. http://www.popcornpopper.com/wild-whacky-bowls.html It even has room to hold your napkins, soda can, and remote control! (FYI -- Popcornpopper.com is a great company to order from - the Whirley Pop they sell is awesome, and they frequently have great deals on the "Movie Theater Popcorn" -- but this bowl is just hilariously lame and I had to share the video. )
  2. Jessica Gower (Chase) was much nicer, IMHO... Unfortunately, there just aren't many pictures of her online.... http://c.myspace.com/Groups/00016/83/68/16148638_l.jpg
  3. Big Bang Theory
  4. I got an authentic Andre Reed jersey! I'm pretty psyched. Now just have to decide if I'm going to make it my official game-day jersey or if I'm going to frame it and hang it in my office...
  5. Still 8,000 tickets left and the team has asked for another extention...
  6. I really enjoyed Blade: The Series. It was on Spike, but cacelled after the first season. The first half of the season was a bit slow and dry, but the 2nd half really kicked it into high gear and made it a very enjoyable program. I was bummed it was cancelled. Not Firefly bummed, but still pretty disappointed.
  7. You did slip a little with the CBS affiliate thing... But we knew you wouldn't let that happen twice.
  8. That's been true lately..... -12F when I woke up to go to work yesterday
  9. Not being sold out is different than having roughly 20% of your tickets still available I think... Not that Vikings fans have ever been that die-hard. While in college, I usually saw more Bills jerseys on campus than Vikings....
  10. Ummm, not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but Hormel is nowhere near the Twin Cities... It's literally over 100 miles away: http://www.mapquest.com/maps?1c=Austin&amp...polis&2s=MN The economy isn't that bad here. It's not good, but it's far better than lots of other cities. The Timberwolves comment was funny though. They didn't have a playoff game last year. And the bridge collapse DID make getting into download Minneapolis a pain in the butt.
  11. Dish and DirecTV suck MUCH less; actually, DirecTV's customer service actually rocks...
  12. Yeah, I know a lot of fans here are pissed at Childress, kinda like Bills fans are mad at Jauron. But still - playoffs! Isn't that what you play the season for? Why pay for the regular season and skip the playoffs....?
  13. You're kinda being a jerk. Mandy Moore dump you on New Year's Eve?
  14. Wow.... Just wow.... http://www.kare11.com/sports/vikings/vikin...2&catid=203
  15. Except that LIN threatened to remove their programming from DirecTV and Dish as well... TWC is the only one who played hard ball. So the whole basis of your argument (enough people will complain) isn't really all that accurate - the other carriers knew that their customers wanted the programming. Except that, again, TW raised their rates ($3/month) BEFORE Viacom raised theirs... So either you blame both companies or you blame neither. As we all know, I'm a bigger fan of switching to DirecTV or Dish.
  16. I haven't seen the "unaired" episodes. Is it worth renting the disks and watching at this point?
  17. Oh, that's another good one. The first half of the first season was kinda repetitive and dull... But then they started getting good with the second character who seemed to be undoing what Tru was doing -- and there was a lot of backstory that never got covered.
  18. Agreed. Firefly is one of my favorite shows of all-time. Then they killed it. The history of what FOX did to the show is just sickening (forcing them to write a new pilot episode over a weekend! The last episode aired was supposed to be the pilot!). Oh well... Check out Dollhouse this February. Written by the same buy (Joss Whedon) who did Firefly. I also thought the series "Drive" had some good potential - but in typical Fox fashion, was killed after 6 episodes.
  19. Except for the fact that DirecTV and LIN already reached an agreement a few months before the TWC fiasco... Are you saying that cable companies are allowed to raise their rates, but that the people who actually provide content aren't?
  20. I think a lot of parents would disagree with your Nick comments. And I know I disagree with your Comedy Central comment -- might be online, but so is almost every show.
  21. The best part is that Jeff Simmermon, who claims to be the Director of Digital Communications at TWC said: "Sure, Viacom's got Colbert and the Daily Show, but they're available online for free. It's Bizarro-world economics. In what other world would you pay more for something that's free somewhere else?" Ummm.... Aren't most shows available online for free nowadays? Doesn't that mean that people shouldn't pay TWC anything at all then?
  22. My favorite part is that they raised rates by $3/month, and Viacom is only asking for 25 cents/month. http://www.engadgethd.com/2008/12/30/viaco...e-warner-cable/
  23. Easy for you guys to say now. When we sign a "name" in free agency, and then see what's going on during training camp, you'll be back. Count on it.
  24. That's pretty cool
  25. Your stats mean nothing unless you compare them to other teams. Maybe this is the norm for a lot of teams?
