  1. Similar to this flight - Rochester to Bloomington, MN is only about 80 miles.
  2. That actually happened to me when I was flying into Monterey, CA one time. There was dense fog, so they diverted us to San Jose and bussed us to Monterey. Worked great.
  3. How about arrest you, label you a terrorist, and put you on the no-fly list?
  4. My wife and I were diverted up to Duluth, MN due to a storm. We landed and were on the tarmac for about 5 hours. It really sucked... The worst part was that the flight crew was giving ZERO information about what was going on. In addition, the flight attendants were acting rather rude as well. Overall terrible experience.
  5. You're basing these "statistics" on a sample size of 12-13 people....?
  6. Yeah, it actually is pretty cool when there's 20-40 people talking about the game in real time.
  7. Dogs sleep 14-20 hours/day as well...
  8. If you can't watch it live, you can do the next best thing - the chat room. http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?s=&am...t&p=1500770
  9. I saw that mentioned at the bottom of a couple of the shirt descriptions (they have a bunch to choose from). I was going to buy one, but I just can't pull myself to do it because it says Oilers... I think that's tacky (no pun intended).

  11. The official transcript says "amazed:" http://www.profootballhof.com/story/2009/8...ech-transcript/
  12. Be sure to join the chatroom! http://widget.mibbit.com/?settings=fe9310f...el=%23gobuffalo (the "chat' link at the top doesn't appear to be working... So this link should work).
  13. Agreed. Cotrell did a terrible job. A bunch of inside jokes that were of interest to nobody (but the people on the team maybe?). And Bruce getting bored in meetings on Wednesday, not running the proper plays on Sundays, etc -- made him sound like he wasn't a team player (which is probably true, but still, you don't say things like that at the HoF!). His joke about the helmet was priceless! I was expecting Bruce's speech to be, "Look at me, look at me, I am great, I am great," but it wasn't. Thank you for doing the team, the city, and the fans proud, Bruce.
  14. I thought that was an excellent presentation - if you didn't see it, check if NFL Network is replaying it. It was very well done, with commentary from Kelly, Talley, and Levy. Talley took responsibility for the Superbowl - and apparently other players went to Norwood and said the same thing. Funny, I just want to get to the playoffs this season... But our hopes were set so much higher back in the early 90s.
  15. #5 - Dreams: I thought that one was already known? When you sleep, your brain creates new neuro pathways to more efficiently access data. You generally dream about things that your brain is trying to piece together for you. For example, in college I would frequently do my CSci programming homework until I was stumped late at night, would go right to bed, and as soon as I woke up, I knew the answer because my brain put 2 and 2 together for me. Or maybe that doesn't happen for anyone else, and I'm actually an undercover alien spy...
  16. I know you were, but this time it was also 100% true!
  17. For those who say Mac has no security vulnerabilities and it "just works," here's the list of 18 security vulnerabilities that were recently fixed: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3757
  18. Yes he did. Many special teams rules were changed just to stop how dominating he was. For example, when Tasker was being double teamed and pushed out of bounds, he'd run down the sideline to get to the returner. Later they made it illegal to run out of bounds. If you're so good that you force the league to change the rules, I think you deserve HoF consideration.
  19. Gotta say I'm not in favor of that... That's all you need is to be driving down the road when there's a car malfunction and the cabin is filled with cyanide... No thanks.
  20. Ironically (?), some of the best addiction research is apparently coming out of UB.
  21. There's actually some truth in that. If he normally drinks while watching football games, he's going to want to avoid that trigger for awhile, regardless of how well they're playing.
