Does his salary matter? Are you paying it? If we cut him, that money would go into RW's pocket. So who would play better than Kelsay at a lower cost? Nobody. Give it up everyone, Kelsay is nowhere near as bad as everyone's making him out to be around here.

How far would u come to see the bills play??
Fezmid replied to BILLZ4LIFE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Do real fans actually say crap like that....? I've come from Minneapolis to see a pre-season game - that's about 200 miles further away than Tennessee, and that's not very far at all. Like Jack said - people frequently come from other countries. -
The link was directly to a JPG image -- so nothing to worry about. Can't vouch for the rest of the site, but a JPG is harmless (assuming you've updated Windows in the past 5 years....)

Random thoughts from people 25-35 years old
Fezmid replied to ricojes's topic in Off the Wall Archives
That's not true. You need to hear three or four. Then they're all the same after that. My wife likes listening to them, so we went to a show a few months ago. I have to say that, while they're not the most musically gifted guys in the world, they put on a very entertaining show. They're very engaged with the crowd and look like they're really enjoying themselves. CW -
You'll love it.
-
Not sure how much they "generally" cost -- but I paid $145 for my two 4th row, center tickets. That included about $25-$30 worth of "convenience charges."
-
What's in the way this time? They put on a great show. And they're releasing a new album after all of these years! http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002K9RTR...;pf_rd_i=507846

Tickets are on sale today.... The night show in Minneapolis is already sold out. I managed to snag center floor, row 4, on the aisle! I'm pretty psyched!

I would've been all over that if it had been available earlier... Now Ashampoo wins, despite their constant spam offers for their software.
-
Didn't Travis Henry play with a broken leg? The announcers never let us forget it...
-
Hmm, now that you mention it, I think the only thing I've seen is the Bills/Browns scrimmage with the sports pack. Stupid NFL.
-
It should work, assuming you have the sports pack.
-
If you decide to get the full blown pay version, do NOT pay full price. I've noticed that the Ashampoo folks like to send out deals every couple of days. The most recent one was the Burning Studio 9 for $20. I've never used it (the free one does exactly what I want), but just FYI in case you were looking.

Yeah About That Priceless Moon Rock You're So Proud Of
Fezmid replied to /dev/null's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Well, this just proves that the moon landing was staged, right? -
I don't know the specifics -- but keep in mind that it doesn't apply to all hybrids. It was only applied to the first X number of hybrids of each model. I know all of the Honda and Toyota hybrids are no longer eligable.

Does anyobne still get NFL Sunday Ticket ala cart?

Independent surveys show that DirecTV's customer service is ahead of cable... http://www.directv.com/DTVAPP/global/secon...assetId=2500004 http://www.marketingcharts.com/television/...east-regiongif/ -
Yeah, I hated having a winning record too.

T Jack sucks... Everyone in Minnesota knows it. Watch him play, and he likes to jump while passing the ball - instead of platning his feet. He'd be a disaster here. The Vikes can keep him. I don't need my coworkers laughing at the Bills more than they already do.
-
Yup - it NATs.

It's generally cheaper to buy a regular drive and an external enclosure separately -- then just screw the drive into the enclosure and plug it in via USB. Just remember that you're not protected if your house burns down or somebody robs you, unless you always leave the external drive somewhere other than your house -- but then it's harder to remember to bring it home for a day to do the backups. That's why Mozy is so nice - house burns down, data is still safe. I can give more details tomorrow - for now, sleep calls.
-
Not worth it? Seriously? Second Copy and an external harddrive will cost you about $70. Two years of Mozy.com service will cost you about $100. How is that not worth it? Don't you have any digital pictures? Vidoes? Music? Documents? Do you only use your PC for web browsing and email...???
-
The vulnerabilities aren't an issue as long as you go straight to the Windows Update site and download the XP serviec packs. This assumes, of course, that you're in a NAT'd environment (ie: plug a box into your cable modem, and then plug the PC into that box....). Also - not sure if they still do, but Microsoft used to have a way to order a free CD with service pack 2 on it. They might have one with 3 now, not sure.

There's a few options. I use a service called "Mozy" (Mozy.com). You pay a monthly fee (and get a discount for multiple months/years), and install an application on your PC that automatically ships the files you request over to the Mozy servers. This is very helpful in case your house burns down, or someone breaks in and steals your PC. However, it's less helpful in the case of rebuilding a PC -- because depending on how much data you have backed up, it could take a long time to retrieve. I also have software called Second Copy ( www.centered.com ). You can setup backup policies that backup files from one location to another. This is very helpful if you have a second harddrive in your computer, or if you occasionally plug in a n external harddrive (you can set the program up to only backup when you plug the drive in). A third option is Windows Home Server. Everyone knows I'm pretty anti-MS, but they actually got this one right. You need to build another computer and leave it on 24x7, but you can then copy your files to it (using Second Copy, for example). In addition, you install a connector on your PC and it will make an image of your PC every night. If you PC gets infected or the harddrive dies, you simply put a new drive in, put a restore DVD in the drive (with just enough drivers to let your PC talk to WHS), and it restores your whole PC in about 20 minutes. Tater would've been able to use this to, for example, restore his PC to the way it looked 2 month sago, before becoming infected. Very handy. It has the added benefit of being able to stream effortlessly to the Xbox 360, which I also like. As for the original topic -- with all respect to Dean, running software to remove Malware is no guarantee that the malware is gone. If "close enough" is acceptable, then go for it - you're probably going to be ok, but who knows. I do take issue with this comment though. Reinstalling from media is a 100% guarantee that the system will be clean. Copying data files (images, music, docs, etc) from a second source will not spread an infection, as the malware generally lives in Windows system files or application binaries. Now is it "too hard" to reinstall because of old applications and such? Yes, it can be difficult in some cases, but what is that user going to do once their drive fails? Dean, while I respect that your clients may appreciate being able to keep everyting the way it is, I still maintain that you have no idea whether the infections are actually gone by using your malware removal programs. I work in IT Security, have my CISSP certification, and industry best practice is to reinstall, not to remove malware. Even Microsoft agrees: http://www.eweek.com/c/a/Security/Microsof...ing-Impossible/

Ok, this seems like a great alternative to Directv
Fezmid replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Has anyone actually gone on the roof to do the survey? Because like eball said, even heavily wooded lots can almost always get a signal. I need to take a picture of the house down the street that has the dish literally pointing at the roof 12" away, and still gets a signal.
