  1. LOCK HER UP. LOCK HER UP. LOCK HER UP. LOCK HER UP. LOCK HER UP.
  2. 2 impeachments and a long investigations is a "free pass"? Do you rethink the work for us?
  3. I bet Nixon did it even worse. Trumps sucked, but It's 2022. Trumps gone. Time to move on.
  4. A Trump vs Cuomo race would be epic.
  5. Lovie's playoff record is better.
  6. @BillStime's standard is if Trump does/did it then its OK for D's to do it too. Its been a common theme during the Biden administration.
  7. That Representative Rochester is very skilled politician. Don't answer the question and blame the other party.
  8. You can find nuts saying anything. Means nothing. Some church in Podunk, TN. OK.
  9. Thanks. You named 3. 🙂. Nice. Ann Counter and 2 nuttier nuts.
  10. They're not. No one is. Why would they? In bidness its called product differation. You want that. Its what sets you apart from the competition so they purchase yours as opposed to the competition's. Same is true in politics. If your party works with the other party and you come together to get things done to help the people that elected you there would be no difference. Why choose one over the other. If they haggle with the opposition and call out all their bad stuff, you can get more people to vote for you than actually doing your job. You seem to be working from the misconception that it is all on the up and up and people are fairly elected to do what's fair and honest and good for the American people. There's too much power and money at stake for it to work that way.
  11. I believe this is the reason Senator Biden fought so gallantry to try to keep Justice Thomas off the SC. Thurgood Marshall was nominated by a D. Biden and his fellow Ds couldn't allow a R to nominate his replacement, so they organized a failed high tech lynching expedition to stop it.
  12. Like Justice Thomas, he was the wrong Black man.
  13. I understand. But my post was dealing with if NFL HC hires are "systemically racist" based on the definition by the guy that invented CRT which is included in my post. That's how we judge things now. Death penalty is racist cuz 41% are Black while only 14% of the population. There are only 4 Black CEOs in Fortune 500 while Blacks are 14% of the population. Etc.
  14. I have to question if the NFL HC hiring practice is systemic racism and here's why: The founder of Critical Race Theory Joe Feagin says: https://www.thoughtco.com/systemic-racism-3026565 So when I hear that there is systemic racism in NFL HC hiring the first question is OK, how many do we have? 1 or 3 is on obviously low compared to racial lines (14% Black). But I seem to remember recently we had more. So I looked back the last 15 years starting in. 2006. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2006/coaches.htm 2006 - 7 (Super Bowl between teams led by Black HC.) 2007 - 6 2008 - 6 2009 - 5 2010 - 7 2011 - 8 2012 - 5 2013 - 3 2014 - 4 2015 - 5 2016 - 5 2017 - 7 2018 - 7 2019 - 3 2020 - 3 2021 - 3 Note: I did not count Ron Rivera or Robert Saleh. I also didn't count interim coaches even though there have been several a la Perry Fewell. The avg was 5.25. >14% 5 years were <14% including the last 3 The real question for me is what changed in the last 3 years? Why was the NFL HC hiring within racial lines and suddenly now is not? I'm sure there is some racism going on cuz its everywhere. But as far as being systemically racist per definition, it doesn't seem to pencil out.
  15. My question is why are kids in 8th grade reading comic books? Kids in 8th grade should be reading real books like "To Kill A Mockingbird" or " Lord of the Flies" or "Of Mice and Men".
  16. This is how the work world works everywhere. I worked 38 years in the computer field. The very first job I got I didn't know anyone there. Just got my way in somehow. Every job after that I knew someone there and they knew of me already from working in the same field. Why should we expect football coaching to be different? We may not like and its not fair, but it just is. Of course no one should discriminate on the basis of race, but they're gonna hire who they want and its probably someone they know and have worked with cuz that's how it works.
  17. I think Matt Cassel was #16. When drafted I waned him to be #13 like Kurt Warner. But really, IMHO, the number a QB wears on his back has nothing to do with wether his team's D can stop a team from getting in FG range in 13 seconds. Besides, if an NFL player changes his number he has to buy all the old number Jerseys in stock. I'd hate to see poor Josh waste his money on this. He was #17 in college too so its probably a lost cause.
  18. No, they hire Black HCs to bad teams as "bridge" coaches. I read it in the shout box. Like how Denver hired Vance Joseph to "bridge" to Vic Fangio.
  19. Really? Goodell, come on man. Criminy Louise.
  20. Here's how the view on gambling by the NFL has changed in the last 15 years: In 2005 I played in the Seattle Seahawks Blue Thunder Drumline. On the Seahawks web site they had a page called Picks with Duck & Anna. Duck was an equipment guy and Anna was a chearleader. They would pick the winners for the next weeks games. I would see them at practice and the stadium sometimes would talk to the. Around week 10 I noticed the page was gone. They told me that had to stop cuz it could be construed as gambling advice so they pulled it. I under$tand why the NFL billionaires are doing it but it cheapens the product and introduces a lot of questions by fans and others. We all grew up hearing about the Black Sox scandal and gambling's influence on it. @Buffalo Boy mentioned his teacher's friend comment about it had to look right. I would also toss in that in the law field they talk about avoiding the perception of corruption. Partnering with gambling certainly raises the perception of being in bed with and influenced by gambling. I hope its worth it.
  21. Orlando Wooldridge was number 0 or maybe it was an O.
  22. I say no. I love the number 17. Its a real QB number like Don Meredith wore. I hate seeing QBs run around in kicker numbers (1, 2,3,4...) Don't listen to him Josh, 17 is great.
  23. Or, we could trade McDermott for Payton.
