  1. This seems to be a particularly popular opinion these days. Josh does everything and coach McDermott just gets in the way. I have a question about this. Was the same true of Coach McDermott's role in 2017 when Tyrod Taylor took us to the playoffs?
  2. I would like to hire Sean to be our OC if Coach Daboll moves on.
  3. How many Super Bowls did the Chargers win again? Seriously, you wanna follow the Chargers example?
  4. Its a dumb analogy IMHO. In baseball, the defensive team can't score. In football, they can. In baseball, the defensive team cannot intercept a pitch or force the short stop to fumble to get back on offense before the opponent scores. In football, they can.
  5. OK. You may be right on the rankings, but there was more than "a couple fumbles" and why is that OK? There was also the blocked punt pretty much costing us the game vs the Steelers. and the fumble in the Colts game. Costly. There were others as well.
  6. I figured we'd kick it out of the EZ cuz that's what we usually do. I'm sure Coach McDermott was concerned about a run back and based on the amount of kicking teams blunders this team pulled all year I don't blame him. Playing prevent defense prevented us from winning bottom line. It was a great shot no doubt. But not convinced there won't be at least one more.
  7. In football it is possible to score on defense while in baseball you can't. Big difference.
  8. What about player safety? Guys playing totally gassed out would cause more injury. Its gotta end sometime. Play some D. Football is unlike baseball where both teams get a chance cuz, unlike baseball, it is possible to score on D and kicking teams. I've seen OT games end this way before. We did not lose cuz of the rules. It was because we didn't play well enough to win at the end primarily on D. Our O could have scored more points earlier in the game too.
  9. Agreed. My Dad used to say you gotta win big games to get to big games. What about the 2 playoff wins last year? What about beating the Cheats*** at their house to win the division? What about beating the Cheats*** in round 1? Weren't any of those big games?
  10. We also had a better regular season record and higher playoff seed last year. Even though we did beat KC once and played 'em to OT, 2020 season was better IMHO.
  11. What we saw supports the old football axiom: "The only thing a prevent defense does is prevent you from winning." Especially with Kelce and Hunt and those other fast shifty guys. You can't let them run around open like that. I do have to give the defense credit for stopping that Kelce run option. Good job.
  12. Thoughts and prayers.
  13. It's not that they are covering it up. It's just if it doesn't contain any blow or sex its not that newsworthy.
  14. Sounds like the deal he pulled in Ukraine as VP. Worked then, why not now?
  15. Yes. We all know President Biden loves war and it is good for the economy and unites the people against a common enemy. Just what the doctor ordered. I am watching this very closely. Come on man , isn't there a Grenada or Panama out there we can easily beat?
  16. "Social media" is the greatest population control device ever invented ... so far.
  17. This is how life works. Always has. Always will. Money talks and BS walks. Life is not fair. We used to all understand this. It may not be nice and it may not be fair, it just is. The answer is not to complain and try to get Uncle Joe and Bernie Sanders to fix it for you. It's to leran to do something people want to pay you money to do and work hard to improve your position and make some money of your own. Its a time tested strategy that wotks. Of course some people can't do this due to physical or mental handicaps. And society should help them. But we're talking about maybe 10% of the people here.
  18. I thought maybe the dolphins father's name was Josh.
  19. OK. Kurt said a lot of nice things about Josh's game too but just glom onto the "layups" thing. The bigger mystery to me is why any Bills fan would he so upset about this. I don't pay attention to those people much. Its obvious listening that a lot of them don't know what they're talking about anyway. What I have heard in the last few years has been a lot of positive. Contrast that to 2017 when covering the playoff match ups we were last. Then they snickered and chuckled about how were were gonna get killed. We lost by 7. Think of it this way. People telling jocks they aren't good enough motivates them like nothing else. They said we couldn't do it but we pulled together as a team and blah blah blah. The Cheats*** in their 18-1 season even used it. So maybe its a good thing
  20. Perhaps we could also ask current Hall of Famers Dan Fouts, Dan Marino, and Jim Kelly about this too. If only Jim Kelly had made that field goal or come up with a better game plan. I do agree with you though that this year is a golden opportunity to win it with our players, coaches, and remarkably with the exception of White, no injuries. I don't care about our "window" or Josh's "cieling", this is a great opportunity. We may never have an oppotunity like this again. No excuses offered, none accepted. Just win baby!
  21. And if they pull a ***** like this they should be inactivated until they can get 90% on a hard NFL rules exam.
  22. What makes you think they'll "come up" with something? There are some exceptions the untouchable thing though. Trent Dilfer. So maybe you're right. Seems to me Josh is pretty well respected in the press.
  23. Josh doesn't play against Mahommes. He plays against the KC defense. In fact, Josh and Pat are never on the field of play at the same time. I hope the BILLS have a long stretch of winning games vs KC.
