  1. Turning point to what? President Trump and Europe agreed and confirmed the day before the line was no negotiations without a cease fire. Trump said if Pooty Poot didn't agree to it he would put sanctions on countries buying oil from Russia and other "grave consequences". So the "great negotiator" comes out of the meeting with none of that and instead says, yeah, do what he wants.
  2. Yeah, let's talk paid protesters.
  3. This ridiculous Republican party line talking point saying if you don't support what President Trump is doing in DC then that means you like crime is as dumb as saying if you don't get a COVID vaccine you want to kill Grandma.
  4. LET US IN LET US IN LET US IN LET US IN Said the paid protesters that arrived on a bus.
  5. In regards to the first, President Trump himself has said he hasn't been able to stop Pooty Poot from doing anything. He said the talks to Pooty Poot on the phone and thinks he has things worked out. Then he hangs up and Melina tells him Russia is dropping bombs. What exactly is President Trump.stopping him from doing?
  6. He reminds me of JP Losman bouncing passes into RBs in the flat.
  7. Ours was smaller too since it was last minute. I almost didn't go because of that. Didn't see any of what you did. Ours are peaceful. Of course I was concentrating more on rocking out and making sure butts were shaking. Only myself and 2 other drummers but it was all good. Afterwards a lady bought us lunch. Win. Win. So much winning.
  8. Good information. Thanks. It is a tough nut to crack and I don't envy you. I don't know, there are other options besides working in an office which with even more technology and AI etc could be a dead end.. Maybe one could learn a trade that computers can't do. There are aprrecticeships available for such jobs that pay a living wage. Work your way up. https://www.carpenterstraininginstitute.org/apprenticeship-programs/ The same rule applies to this generation that did for past generations. Lean how to do something people want to pay you money to do. One has to figure out what that is and attain it. Easier said than done I know but I think you can do it.
  9. First off no one is "forced" to take out an $80,000 loan.Second off, what kind of job did their dad get with an apprenticeship that now requires an $80,000 degree. Please be specific. I understand I'm guessing your generation has unique challenges in a rapidly changing world. But each generation feels their parents generation left them a tub of crap and most of them are right. People born in 1915's parents left them the great depression and WW II and later Korea. The hated Baby Boomers parents left them the draft and Viet Nam. People born in 1840s parents left them the civil war. I kind of feel there is a bit of grass is greener thing going on here assuming that previous generations had it easy and now you are the first generation to have it hard.
  10. And John McLaughlin was in the studio with Miles that day.
  11. I'll be there with my drum as I have been for several others. my matching snare drum and I join in a drum circle and we play for 1 1/2 hours non stop. Keeps the protesters shaking their butts. A good time is had by all.
  12. While many like to remember today's date as the day Woodstock started. I instead prefer to remember it as the date Miles Davis entered the studio to work on his ground breaking album ***** Brew. Here is a clip of him playing one of the songs from that album live.
  13. Why can't we do both? President Trump has proven we can tackle multiple problems at once.
  14. By the people, for the people ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜ธ๐Ÿ˜น๐Ÿ˜น
  15. Let me see if I have this right. Since Biden, the worst president in the history of America, everybody says so, the demented guy who didn't know what day it was didn't release the Epstien files. So now its okay for President Trump who claimed at least to be draining the swamp is ok to do the same? Who's the bigger man on the issue. Neither one evidently. President Biden never moved sexual predator Maxwell to a minimum security work release prison after her talking to his attorneys. Does this bother you at all? Even just a little? Drain the swamp. Release the info and let the chips fall where they may. And come on man, the democrats didn't want to release it cuz many democrats and big time democrat donors are on the list too. It's not complicated.
  16. What a goober. He's really proud of himself.
  17. If Mrs. Trump brought the lawsuit, would require a lot of interviews and discovery about Epstien. Is that really what Team Trump wants? Interesting move.
  18. Is this all they got? Here's Seattle removing a homeless camp 4 years ago. Their excavators are bigger than Trump's. And the mayor has been shutting down 2 to 3 encampments a month in Seattle. It's not hard to close these things down, but what then? If you don't have a plan on what to do with the people it becomes a whack a mole problem. We don't have shelter space for them all. We don't have enough jail space and we don't having mental institutions to put them in. I hope President Trump has a good plan for this.
  19. And if you and the previous owner(s) have less than 80,000 miles on your car yall have polluted less than those people in their shiny new Teslas (or other electric cars driven <80,000 miles).
  20. This whole generation vs generation thing is tiresome. Can't we all get along?
  21. Part of the billions has been thrown at that too with little success. They have bought and refurbished hotels for homeless people to live in only to find out it is very expensive and when you give someone housing they didn't save up for or have to pay for many don't take such great care of it and it must be re refurbished. They also paid for tiny houses but didn't have a place for them so they are in a fenced lot. And then of course you have nimby issues. Also some of the shelters that have been set up are not nice enough and many won't go or stay there if they do. Easier said than done my man.
  22. This cartoon reminds me of something the great President Reagan used to say. What are the 10 scariest words in the English language? I'm from the government and I'm here to help you.
  23. Not so sure this is the answer either. My city has spent literally billions on welfare nets for the homeless. It is now the worst it's ever been. President Trumps plan at least as articulated thus far makes no mention of what he's going to do with these people. Hopefully it works to curtail homelessness.. We'll see.
  24. You do know of course that "the manufacrurer" had immunity because President Trump made a really good deal to get it out faster.
