  1. we were camped out playing for the FG.
  2. JoAnn Falletta https://www.bizjournals.com/buffalo/news/2018/12/11/joann-falletta-nominated-for-grammy-award.html https://www.wivb.com/news/local-news/bpo-conductor-joann-falletta-featured-in-new-macy-s-ad/1435602183
  3. Ariel should have listened to her father.
  4. I can think of another guy that ran for president with a failed HoR run and a DWI on his record that served 2 terms.
  5. it is THE PROCESS. We saw it a lot last year too and I suspect we'll see it in 2019 and 2020 If McDermott is still coach.
  6. i can think of a few. Houston game Fish game (Clay dropping pass in EZ was text book choking) Jets game (giving up final TD)
  7. Serious question. Can the president "shut down the government"? I thought Congress had the power of the purse.
  8. Where are Joe Webb and Deonte Thompson when we need them? Nice TD run by Murph.
  9. I disagree. there were several other years throughout the drought where 9-7 could get us in but we never even got close. McDermott got more out of the team than the sum of it's parts unlike his predecessor who got less. Drought could have been ended in 2004 or 2014 if those teams had been able to knuckle under and get a big win down the stretch like Coach McDermott's team did in 2018 winning 5 out of the last 7 games including a win over playoff bound KC. 2004 team lost to the Steelers scrubs and 2004 team lost to 2-14 Raiders. That's the difference. give the man his due cred IMHO.
  10. This is kindof my point. football is violent enough as it is without punks going around issuing unwarranted cheap shots. In the interest of player safety and the integrity of the game (it affected the outcome since HauschMoney is normally solid from 48 yards), it should not be tolerated. Purposely injuring another player is a "crime" that should be harshly dealt with IMHO.
  11. Dude should have been ejected, received a fine, and suspended for the next game of two. This kind of BS has no place in football IMHO.
  12. we had the Beast puller last year and our run game still sucked. what RB besides maybe Earl Campbell could run behind this line? there was plenty of time after Wood retired and Glenn was traded and Richie did whatever he did to find better replacements than THE PROCESS did. Lame excuse IMHO.
  13. we were darn good at running the the 3 years before he got here with the same RB with conservative coach ing.
  14. Sorry man, just don't buy this whole salary cap/rebuild nonsense. It was self inflicted. We didn't have to waste a season. It's been documented on here many times. And it looks like 9-7 or maybe 8-8 will get you into playoffs this year too. Hopefully you are right and next year we won't have to worry about this sucking non talent team nonsense anymore because all this cap room/draft picks blah blah blah will fix everything.
  15. The thing I remember most from that game was Matt Cassell's 70+ yard punt.
  16. You're welcome. It's what I've been seeing for the past 30 games under Coach McDermott. Thinking he's going to all of the sudden switch to the overly aggressive wide open offensive coach seems odd to me. He is who he we thought he was. Camping out on the 25 and settling for that last FG reminded me of Dick vs the Clowns at the Ralph which was followed by a Ryan Lindell miss (and a loss).
  17. I kindof thought the Jacksonville game in January was a big game.
  18. In other words, bend but don't break. Like Dick and Perry ran.
  19. THE PROCESS is very similar to Dick Ball. I don't expect that to change.
  20. We were able to do it last year. Bucs, Raiders, last fish game, and others. What happened? Now we're back to finding new ways to lose. I thought Coach McDermott got us past that which is why we made the playoffs last year. I also think it's because they (McDermott and Beane) are not really trying to win this year.
  21. If he were above average he could have made it this year too. An above average coach at least has the sense to not go into the season with Nasty Nate as starter with only a rookie to back him up. It probably cost us at least 3 games.
  22. This IS THE PROCESS. Get up by a TD or so in the second half and sit on the football and let the D win it. Maybe pick up a FG or two if you can, but don't get too crazy. We saw it last year and we saw it yesterday. I don't expect to see it change. it is what it is.
  23. Does anyone remember Ballot Box 13? As far as gerrymandering goes and what's happening now, this is a great read on how it is presently working. And, it's all legal. (The actual book, not the revue). https://www.kirkusreviews.com/book-reviews/david-daley/ratfked/
  24. I like the ones that refer Justice Thomas as a "historical figure".
