Any team whose previous regime drafted Aaron Maybin at #11 would not try and play there #11 pick. He is horrible, he cant even play special teams. Most teams rookies past the 2nd round do not play much. the 2nd half of the season is just starting which is where you are more likely to see some of the later round picks come along.

since we cannot generate a pass rush we have been blitzing more and more. When we blitz that leaves someone open. IMO it was a bad time to change to the 3-4, we didnt have 3 good LBs to man the 4-3 let alone 4 for the 3-4.

As most Bills fans we are looking towards the offseason, with the Oline a major problem I was thinking what everyones take on Cordaro Howard.. For an Undrafted rookie thats natural position is guard I thought he was impressive. Yes he made some mistakes and wasnt fantastic but he is a rookie and not a tackle. Kept his penalties low and didnt seem to get blown off the ball that often. Now its not just our tackles that have played poorly, we lack some push across the board, Hangartner is average at best, Wood is still playing with some discomfort from his leg injury, Levitre is still young, and Bell is just not a starter in this league. Anyway I was remembering last offseason Gailey had Wood take alot of snaps at Center (his college position) and was wondering if he had Cordaro in mind to eventually take over right guard and move wood to center. I know this wood still leave hole at both tackles but I think he will be a much better guard. I know we are weak at tackle but to start a undrafted rookie Guard there Chan must have wanted to get him on the field somehow. Thoughts?

The way Fitz has been playing as of late reminds me of Jon Kitna. A good #2 that can be used as a stop gap at times, has the ability to make plays, win some games, plays real hard, gunslinger type which gives the defense the opportunity to make plays. I have to eat crow on this guy I actually thought Trent should be playing over him.... I would be content going into next season w/ this guy as my#1 as long as we can get some talent around him

either him or Gabe Carimi, Sherrod seems to be the most athletic tackle, I would like to see him get a little more nasty

Dont get me wrong ilike Fred, good hard runner with alot of heart. Let us not forget that alot of his al purpose yards last season came via captain checkdown. Hopefully we dont use a 1st rounder on a RB anytime soon..

One good move is that they didnt make any moves, Instead of signing a few decent free agents that help us win 6-9 games and keep out of the mix of snagging one of the top qbs in the draft, the didnt sign anyone-let the young guys developt and see they have, get rid of the rift raft, win 1-4 games and be in the top 5 in the draft ready to snag that big name qb. I cant bash the CJ pick because he is an NFL caliber player which is more than I can say for most of our recent first round picks.

Was he in a contract year??? The only logical reason that I can think of is that by extending his contract they may have reduced the amount of guarenteed money that would be owed to him after realeasing him later......?????? You answered your own question...He hasnt shown anything.. Edwards and Fitz have shown that they are bad Quarterbacks, so play the guy that you havent seen play horribly....In all honesty noone is in love with Brohm there in love with a change of pace. Brohm has shown that he can throw the Ball downfield. I thought he looked good in the preseason dropping back and going through his progressions, would of been nice if it was a real QB competition where he could have played with the starters.

We looked horrible the whole game besides 1 series. Levitre is one of the only bright spots on this team. If you felt we ran the ball down there throats at any point besides that one series...it was most likely because the Packers where up by 30 and we where still running the ball.

Dear Trent Edwards, please hurry and get your yearly concussion which seems to be the only way to keep you on the bench. There is no reason our RBs need to be our leading recievers. Thank you

What does it take to put this guy on the pine!!!, I have been a Trent supporter and defender but enough is enough... We can bash our oline untill the cows come home but for the love of god..if they give him time - he checks it down, if they dont give him time - he checks it down, befire we know if he'll have time - he checks it down, even if he completes it to a reciever there is no distance to the pass it makes it seem as if - he checks it down. If the Defense is stacking the line of scrimmage through the damn ball as far as you can and give Lee and Roscoe a chance to go get it and loosen the d up some. The only reason these coaches keep Trent in the game is that he does enough or doesnt do enough to keep the score 15-10 and give us some sort of chance for the other team to make a mistake to let us win, I say F that lets put Brohm in and if he throws 5 picks and we lose by 30 at least where playing with some balls, Losman was a bad QB but atleast he wasnt afraid to zing the ball downfield, I think Brohm could do the same type of thing.

I dont think anybody in there right mind thought that we where going to come out and light it up, or for that matter win more than 4-5 games. The Defense looked pretty tough, we didnt have many penalties at all which shows discipline. We just dont have the talent Edwards still has to confidence in throwing the ball downfield. I dont believe Marshawn and Freddy where 100% which is why you mainly saw spiller all day. The reasons why we passed so much was 1.) we never had the lead, which forces you to pass, especially in a 2 minute drill 2.) The Dolphins stacked the line to make us beat them with the pass, which our passing game is so pathetic we still couldnt get it going. I understand Gailey was suppose to coach to Edwards strength but all recievers cannot be a checkdown reciever. If he cannot get anything more out of Trent by week #4 and does not bench him then I will be here ripping on Gailey but now is not the time.

He was drafted as a project and was only 21 years old...It is said that it takes 3 years to judge a draft...so you have 1) a young very raw talent coming out of college 2) is now learning a new position in his second year 3) is now under his second coaching staff in his second year I have never agreed with the pick of Maybin but hes here for a while so we may as well support him.. there are other players on the roster that we could be complaining about... McCargo, Kirk Chambers, Fitzpatrick, etc..

what is the reason for playing Fitzpatrick so much? Is it so our other Qbs dont get drilled behind that line or because we want him to play awful so there is a reason to cut him?? Certainly we dont need to see what he can do or have him develop.
