Arizona runs a 4-3, Porter has never been a 4-3 LB. Doesnt seem like it would be an attraction for him seeing how he wouldnt be chasing QBs as much.

Its a week free agent class, the middle of the road talent guys take time to sign because they weigh out all there options and contract offers. Unless you want another year where we throw huge $$$ at free agents like Derrick Dockery and Langston Walker where they immediatly sign here. It will take more than a draft to turn things around, more like 2-3 drafts and Nix has already said it all cant be done this year.

there is not much trade value there, especially when the league knows we will most likely dump some of those players eventually.

Miami and the Bears are looking to be contenders this season, we are looking to be contenders in 2-3 years so why over pay for a 30 year old player where in 2-3 years when we are competitive in the division we will be looking to replace those players. Peppers is a 4-3 defensive end and is to old and high dollar to try and convert to a 3-4 lb. Dansby has primarily played in the 4-3 and he is not that spectacular of a player, he is good but it makes more sense to draft and develop our own. We dont need a RB. Other than that this is a very weak FA class.

Maybe it seems like blacks are more covered because there are a higher number of blacks athletes. Or maybe, just maybe more blacks are committing the crimes than whites. The prison population is over 60% blacks, thats a big number to play the race card. Blacks make up 12.4% of the population, so 12.4 percent of the US population is taking up 60% of the prison population...huh must be all racism. ALmost 70% of the players in the NFL are black and over 80% in the NBA are black and yet we are surprised that there is may be more coverage of black athletes wrong doing..huh must be racism. There was only one LB that would have been worth signing, Karlos Dansby. He is a good player not great and he got a 43 million dollar contract. This draft is said to be deep with LB and DE that will be conveted to 3-4 linebackers. We have tried building a team by patchwork for years and it hasnt worked.
