  1. Incredible recall here. Following a FG that put the Bills up 20-17 late in the 4th: 4:35 - 4th) S.Hauschka kicks 68 yards from BUF 35 to ATL -3. A.Roberts pushed ob at BUF 42 for 61 yards (S.Wright) Micah Hyde then stuffed Freeman for a loss of 7, then Ryan threw an incomplete pass and then Hyde intercepted him
  2. Not being negative but this hype train is off the rails.
  3. That's not exactly what I said but okay
  4. Cannot believe the amount of hype this dude is getting here.
  5. Haven't heard any money on Feliciano, but Nsekhe was 2 years and up to $14 million, but only $7.7 million guaranteed. No hard details on his deal yet but that's under $4 million guaranteed per year which is not too much for a swing tackle, especially one that is considered a very good backup. IMO the deal sounds like it was structured in a way that he gets backup money if that's his role and can earn starter money if he starts.
  6. $40 million left give or take, remove the draft pick pool and there's still $30 million or so. They can afford Williams if they want him and that would put them in a great spot to draft BPA at 9. I don't care if they sign a tackle and draft a guard or vice versa, but I don't want them to be done yet. In a perfect world, Nsekhe (swing tackle), Feliciano (guard) and Spencer Long or Wyatt Teller (whichever doesn't start) are your backups. Sirles can stay too if they choose to keep 9.
  7. Agreed strongly. No one should be safe except Dawkins if they can improve the quality of the talent along the line
  8. Pretty confident you will start hearing his name tomorrow or whenever they can start bringing free agents in to facilities for visits. Teams are gonna want to check that knee out before they commit.
  9. Sounds like another deal similar to Nsekhe. Able to get paid decently if they start but low guaranteed money if they're just a backup.
  10. Bark bark bark bark ba--oh sorry you just got me riled up by packing all the dog whistles into your Fox News headline word stew. ?
  11. Top 5 inside backer is a low bar to clear, it's Kuechly and Wagner and then a gap, but yeah, I'll say he's currently about the 5th best (give me Deion Jones and Eric Kendricks over him). Still not worth what he got paid though.
  12. Yeah, I understand that but it's still not a great deal for a downhill LB
  13. Much better moving forward/against the run than in coverage. It was the book on him coming out of college and I don't think it's changed.
  14. Yes, potential bank fraud is very worthless to investigate
  15. I can comprehend this just fine, thank you very much. The fact remains that they paid a limited LB $5 mil per year more than the best all around LB in the game. Just because the cap goes up doesn't make it smart.
  16. Bobby Hart to the Bengals for 3 years and 21 million is the dumbest deal. 10 sacks allowed and 11 accepted penalties last year.
  17. Silly money. He's good but he's getting considerably more than Kuechly. Let them spend it all on the defense.
  18. I wouldn't want Donald Penn... Simply because he and others close to him, or maybe it was like Geoff Schwartz and other former OL on Twitter, saying flat out his injury last year was due to the Raiders flipping him to RT. Basically his body was so used to going through the stresses placed on it dropping back in one way from playing LT for so long that trying to flip and mirror all of it at RT led to overcompensating and injury. I'll go ahead and skip that mess. Find a guard in free agency and get a RT in the draft (Jonah Williams, Jawaan Taylor, Andre Dillard)
  19. Lots to unpack here, just gonna hit it with bullet points as I was about 90% through a good response and accidentally hit the back button on my phone and lost it all. I apologize if it's scatterbrained now. - The Mike Williams selection says more about Travis Benjamin than Tyrell Williams. With Keenan Allen occupying the slot full time, they needed someone else to play on the outside. - Speaking of Keenan Allen, not sure what you mean by him "missing more time" as he hasn't missed a game in two seasons. Tyrell Williams had his 1000 yard season the last year Allen missed any time. - Staying with Allen, the fact he's an absolute target vacuum kind of necessitates you change how you evaluate the other pass catchers that share the field with him. Allen has had 159 and 136 targets since his return from injury. - Jumping off that to Williams, his targets have gone from 119 to 69 to 65; catches from 69 to 43 to 41; about 58% catch percentage during the heavy year and then 62 and change with Allen's return. His yards per catch has been pretty similar also, 15.3 during his heavier use year, 16.9 in 2017 and 15.9 last season. Now I'm not saying I'm going to love the price tag, but there are things to like about his game and because he's been in an offense where the slot receiver is absolutely force fed the ball, it's not crazy to suggest he could produce better with more consistent targets
  20. DT popped his Achilles in week 16 or 17 he's absolutely missing part of this season or will be rushing back and be a shell of himself. Hard pass.
  21. Just happened to jump in here as you posted and still had the tab open from a few mins ago when I saw it linked on Twitter
  22. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/tyler-kroft-16809/ $1.6 mil dead cap if cut after this season ($5 mil savings for 2020)
  23. Bodine did not play guard at UNC or with the Bengals. Absolutely no need to shoehorn a below average player in out of position simply because he's already on the roster. We should want, and expect them to, raise the level of talent on that side of the ball which should mean almost no one is safe
  24. No use really. Long is able to play center and guard. Bodine center only. You need positional flexibility with your depth along the OL or else you end up like the Bills last season using up 1/5 of your active roster on OL while not having any depth elsewhere as a side effect
  25. Thanks for stopping in Debbie Downer
