They did mix in a little hurry up in the game and the coach mentioned that the offense responded pretty well to it. Also said that they were in very good physical condition and can handle it.

Denver ripped off a couple of big runs. Don't think those would have made it past Dareus. Our run D is better with him in there.

This could be a much more favorable matchup for us. 3 interceptions? Put the pressure on and force some mistakes and Buffalo could walk away with a big win in Atlanta. We are still trying to figure out just how good this team is. Might just be better than we thought. Atlanta's defense could get gashed. This should be a bounce back week for our running game. Mix in another solid day from Tyrod and it's game on. Three interceptions.....really?

Def need to get these receivers more involved. Got to give defenses more things to think about than just Shady and Clay. That being said, that was one hell of a defensive game. It'll be interesting to see how the offense progresses going forward.

Does anyone really think that this is something the players/coaches really care about? If they do, they'd deserve getting whooped on Sunday. Coach is a teacher and his job all week was to get the boys ready. That does not include trying to figure out hand signals.

And yet Buffalo's 3rd down conversion rate is among the highest in the NFL. It ain't all about passing.

Those are some above average numbers. With a dominaining defense, this could turn out to be a very interesting year.

We'll see how good that Carolina run defense really is when it goes up against the #1 rushing offense in the NFL. Going to be an interesting game. Tyrod will need to work the sidelines rather than the middle against this defense. With a rusty Cam, I certainly don't see an easy win for the Panthers. I think our own D is going to be pretty good this year. If Cam tries those 5-7 step drops our D could make him pay. As for an advantage for the coach, I don't see it. Coach is just going to keep the players focused on their assignments. There won't be any last minute wrinkles added just because he knows the Panthers offense. Sure, they will game plan but it will be the same as it would for any other team.

Keep Cam from those long pass plays and we might be on to something.

I've seen some negativity regarding zone blocking schemes. Most don't realize that Buffalo all ready used a heavy dose of zone blocking last year. It's not like this is something new to them. The beauty is they are also playing an up tempo offense and wearing that D down.
