Week 9 predictions: Bills at Seahawks on MNF
Rockinon replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
17 Bills 9 Seattle Low score. Hard fought, but this is not the the same Seahawks team. -
Sticking with the run is a good plan for this game. Seattle is not going to be putting up big numbers against our defense so committing to the run and playing a time of possession game will stress an all ready poorly executing offense. Seattle does have a good run defense, but they have not been tested against a multifaceted Bills rushing attack. They probably will figure out ways to stymie the run but not before Buffalo catches them with their drawers down. I can also see the Bills taking some shots downfield in the passing game. Clay and Goodwin could be decent contributors. This will be tough going for Tyrod because these guys can get after the passer and they don't really need to send extra blitzers. Their backfield is still pretty good too. Going to be interesting to see how many defenders Seattle puts down in the box. If there are too many, we will see Tyrod throwing some up there. Remember, when Buffalo passes, they are also a threat to run because of Tyrod's ability to escape. Overall, this is going to be about rushing, though. Seattle's run defense is good, but Buffalo's run offense is better. Wilson is getting healthier so this could be a game where he breaks out of the pocket and runs too. He is dangerous so the Bills will need to contain him. I really think Buffalo matches up well in this game. I also think Buffalo's DBs will be fired up for this game. They have been playing way below their ability. I'm thinking they get back on track in this one.

"Experts" Picks week 9 versus the Seahawks
Rockinon replied to CodeMonkey's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Seattle's rush defense is ranked 7th. Their pass defense is 24th. I think we can run and pass on them. Honestly, I think the Bills upset them. I think they are overrated because they are playing in a weak division. -
We are going to so get rolled on Sunday...

If Ed Reed is suiting up, we are in deep trouble. -
That is not a word I would use to describe Doug Marrone.
-
I always wondered if Marone was the bigger problem. Seemed like a control freak and wouldn't let Hackett do his job. Might surprise us. Not likely, but who knows?

Dareus driving an OLman right on top of Brady and Dareus falling on the pile for good measure. The OLman accidentally steps on Brady's foot when he goes down and Brady starts crying. I'm actually pretty bored right now.

Appropriate response from someone with your screen name I think your screen name needs an adjustment

Yea, your probably right. Just thinking that they may put Marcel and Kyle alone on the line and send everyone else into coverage. Remember Kyle on the line all by himself against AZ and still getting pressure? There is going to be a crazy game plan this week. The LBs can choose to rush or drop into coverage. May even substitute LB's with defensive backs. Both Kyle and Marcel are pretty good at splitting OLmen and rushing the passer.
-
It would be awesome if Dareus, first play of the game just blows up their interior OL and they have no choice but to double/tripple team him for the rest of the game. Many here are being understandably critical, others though are going a bit over the top. I think the Dline is going to keep this game interesting. There is a lot of talent there. Hughes, Darius, K. Williams, Lawson. The Pats Oline was exposed in the last matchup. No reason for that to change. Let's just hope Darius is fired up for this one. Can't believe the incredible negativity on this board this week. NE is coming to our house and many here are ready to just roll over so they can kick us in the gut. Just boggles the mind. You want them to win don't you? 4-1 in the last 5 weeks. If there is a team that can take NE down, just who do you think it will be. The Jets/Miami? Wake up people. Get behind your team and give these guys something to fight for. Just makes me sick reading this drivel. OK, banged up. So what? We're supposed to just give up on these guys? If you love our Buffalo Bills let them know it for a change.

Week 8 predictions: Patriots at Bills
Rockinon replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Where's the fun in that. F*** it. Bills 31 Patsies 17 Defense sets the tone by bull rushing and blowing up the first play of the game in the backfield. Their OL can't handle it all game long. The offense gets the run game going and that opens up some nice passing lanes for Tyrod. They do enough to win it Special teams keeps the Patsies pined deep and Carpenter gets into a groove. People thinking this game is a complete disaster are in for a surprise. The home team is up to the challenge this week. -

Rex - love or hate he gets a pass on 2016
Rockinon replied to Dragonborn10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not so fast. He gets a pass when the Bills sweep the Pats. Anything short of that is a failure. Shoulda waited a week to post this. -
I know our D is missing Aaron this week, but for the most part, are pretty healthy. Could cause some turnovers. This is going to be a good game. Marcel, Kyle, and our LB's could make this a nightmare for the NE OL and Brady. Don't count them out just yet. The big question is can our offense get things rolling. Personally, I think NE's D is far overrated. Gillislee can run. Get that run game going and Tyrod will get some match ups in the passing game too. It just boils down to being able to run. I think there is a chance. Add in a good special teams unit and riled up crowd, this could become a very memorable game for Bills fans.
-
Gillislee had some new cleats cut into the back of his foot. Nothing serious. Hope he finds the second level throughout the game to keep us in it. I want to know who they will be putting on the field at WR though. I think Clay is near full health and hope our TEs can step up. NE's defense is way overrated, and we should be able to move the ball against them. How much success our offense will have is going to have a lot to do with our RBs. We get the run game going, the pass will open up. Damn, I wish we had more receiving threats.
