  1. I've been watching yahoo sports live stream. Been fun.
  2. Nice combination of speed and power. Not afraid to hit the hole. Sounds like a Roman guy.
  3. I've been saying this all along. The big nose tackle is not used much these days. Every single guy in our front four can get after the passer. That is exactly what we want. Not just some guy who can withstand a double team. When you have this many guys getting after the QB, the offense has to pick and chose who to double. Add in Rex's propensity for blitzing LBs,safeties and CB's. The offense will never know where the overloaded blitz is coming from. This is a good pick. The guy just needs to get better at stopping the run. However, we did just get a thumper at MLB.
  4. I'm really enjoying the coverage by yahoo sports live stream. BTW, I like the Ragland pick. Defense is going to be beating people down.
  5. I keep hearing people say "opposite Jerry Hughes", but Shaq lined up all over the place at Clemson. I have a hunch he will do the same for Buffalo.
  6. Don't see this happening. Moving a nose tackle on and off the field shows your hand. The DLinemen need to be able to play multiple positions. I tend to think that Dareus will still be a nose and a DE. Shaq will be a DE/LB. Kyle could even play nose occasionally.
  7. Wow, another CB.
  8. Can't believe no DTs yet.
  9. Giants praying for a trade down
  10. Seriously? They still think football is played with a round ball.
  11. If they trade down.........maybe. Agree that no way he goes past RD 2. He is worth more than a 3rd RD grade. Thing is everyone will want a sure starter in the 1st. He'll slide but not nearly as far as some think.
  12. I think a lot of people are underestimating what John Blake brings to the table. Pretty sure the DLine will bounce back this year. This draft is loaded with DLine talent and what we still have is pretty damn good. The DLine is going to be very aggressive. I'm pretty confident about that. As far as Rex is concerned, I think think all the "ALL IN" hoorah is being taken totally out of context. Rex knows what they were doing last year was not working. You can bet that they will be trying something different this year. My uneducated guess is that the DLine is going to be put on the spot for way under-performing last year. They'll bounce back. This would be cool too.
  13. We are a running team, so that ain't happening anyway.
  14. I would be pumped if the Bills drafted Reed. Put him next to Dareus and there would be no offensive line in the NFL that would be able to stop that interior line from collapsing. What are they going to do? Double both of them? Hello!!!!
  15. Question: What will NE do now? Answer: Punt.................a lot.
  16. For the Bills, create. It's pretty simple really. The offensive line did a great job running the ball, and they also seemed to catch defenses off guard when they did pass. Plus, Tyrod did a nice job rolling away from pressure. The OLine isn't perfect but I think they are better than given credit for. The Bills defense has to find a way to put more pressure on opposing QBs, though. If they can figure out how to take away those quick routes that everybody copied from NE last year, the defense will be dominant again. Just need an edge rusher to replace Mario(Someone that can not only get after the QB but can also hold there own in coverage). Wouldn't hurt to have a DLineman beside Darius who can disrupt plays too. I have seen a lot of teams that are sending heat on the QB up the middle. Our guys did it 2yrs. ago. Nothing wrong with just blowing up a play from the interior. Buffalo's opponents typically pass much more so that also makes creating a pass more important, if only from a percentages point of view. Buffalo is going to continue running a lot. That is Roman's M.O.
  17. Punt? That was just wrong, Nanker.
  18. I think they will try to work out a new deal before he hits the open market next year.
  19. Add in the fact that our offensive coordinator likes to put additional big bodies on the line, and the run game becomes more dangerous. Some of the run plays drawn up last year were truly amazing. These smaller defensive fronts are clearly having a hard time containing these blocking schemes. We had more blockers in many cases because teams were worried about the pass.
  20. That's why running the ball will become the new trend. Maybe the Bills are on to something. Haven't you heard? Aaron is converting to WR.
  21. So was Byrd and he was pretty good here. We have some good DB coaches here.
  22. I say Amen, brother. I want the defense we hoped expected to show up last year. I think the defense simply had a down year and on track to bounce back. Couple that with an offense is expected to improve modestly and suddenly the Bills are indeed battling for a division title...maybe even a conference title. All we really need is a team that is ready to say enough is a ****ing enough.
  23. The bolded part seems to stuck in your head.
