What if the Bills do beat the Bears??
generaLee83 replied to BoondckCL's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If the Bills win I'm sure that half of this board will drink itself into oblivion until next week. -
I for one am a bit concerned with Villarial's absence in this upcoming game. He is obviously not the best O-lineman in the game or anything close but he has developed chemistry with the rest of the O-line. This is the best O-line I've seen in Bflo in at least 5 years, it's not because of any superstars, it's because of good chemistry. I just hope that Preston has been working hard this week with the others and he doesn't leave any glaring holes to make the O fall apart. Once again as every week I have guarded optimism. Go Bills!

Fins Columnist Comparing 1-3 Dolphins to 2001 Pats

A Moss-less Culpepper is not even an average QB in my opinion. Daunte sucks. By the way Zepp, nice Bruce Campbell reference in your avatar. He's one of my favorite actors. -

IMO TKO is finished, sadly. -
Does anyone have video of the hit WM

Irvin is such a crackhead, I stopped taking him seriously well, actually I never have taken him seriously. -
Dude, trade for the guy that is very likely at the heart of the cancer that is the Oakland Raiders? I'm sure his poor attitude and lackadaisical approach to the game have rubbed off on the other players somewhat over the past 2 seasons. He's honestly the last player in the NFL that I'd want on this team right now. I would trade a 9th round pick in the 2034 draft for him. At least this thread isn't the typical TBD thread though, thanks for taking it a bit outisde the box for a bit.

Chester Taylor was in the top 10 in the NFL for yards going into this game. Also, the Vikings have the most expensive OL in the NFL. Great offensive line, anyone on this board should be able to run with that line. It was great pursuit by the Bills defenders on this one. I think the Run D is improving greatly every week.

I was at the game and did not hear any of the commentary or in-game game analysis. Late in the game, 4th quarter I believe a Minnesota Vikings receiver was running over the middle and appeared to have tripped over a referee when the ball was heading towards him. A very late flag was thrown and the Bills were called for interference. Someone please clear this up for me and everyone else that was at the game and didn't quite get how a Bill pass interfered when it appeared that the ref did the interfering.

Whoever the fat one is on mike and mike I hope he drops dead from a heart attack. I hope the other (dorky) one drops dead because he shoved one of his star wars dolls too far up his a_s. I really dislike those guys, they never venture even near being objective. ESPN is a joke although I don't mind Dan Patrick as much.

Ah, me thread should be squashed then.

This team is coming along quite nicely and appears to be ahead of schedule on the typical "rebuilding" scenario. The talent is present on this team, the drive is present but who the hell is directing them? I love the play calls this team is choosing on offense, some tough runs and some ballsy throws, I love it. Definitely Rams east in a sense. Inside the red zone however it's as if Mularkey takes over Jaurons mind. 3 and goal from the 6 and they attempt the one play that didn't work all game for them. It's so predictable that it makes me sick, and then Jauron shows his hand by sending in his TE's and blocking receivers on the run plays in the red zone. Talk about giving your play away. Predictability and conservatism inside the red zone are going to lose many games for this team this year. Sadly, this team has the talent to score TD's in the red zone, the damn playcalling prohibits it though. When you have your opponent where you want them, go for the knockout. Don't settle for 3 points. It's as if Jauron gets an 8-10 point lead and he goes into "safe" mode and just wants to protect his lead. Grow a set dude.

RB gains 658 yards in one game Friday

I dont' give a crap unless he's got a good 40 time. -
this would be a great pickup. He defines "character" player using Marv's standards. He's from my hometown so I'm a bit biased but this guy plays his heart out.

As long as Willis stays away from the middle of the field and the sides he should be fine. hahahahahahahahah seriously, I hope they don't try to put him up the middle too much, Williams and Williams are sick.

This game is very important for a bunch of reasons, the single most important reason IMO is to restore the confidence of the players. I'm sure with the loss last week they all didn't walk away feeling great about their performance. This team needs to fix it's run defense or it's going to be a very ugly season.

Feces Heaving Primate I agree, I will further your point by saying that this is what I don't like about any politicians. Sometimes it seems as if they're having a contest to see who can tell the worst lie while keeping a straight face. Maybe that's what Clinton was always grinning about. I always kind of thought he was stoned though. either way, all a bunch of liars with no or very little connection to reality.

Well Spikes Said He'll See How Friday Goes
generaLee83 replied to Buffalo Baumer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think his hamstring injury is directly related to the achilles injury that he suffered. TKO didn't use his injured leg for months, I think the result is that he physically and mentally favors the injured leg. All the physical therapy in the world isn't going to take away the "mental" favoring. (IE, someone dislocates their right shoulder, they will always be a bit protective of it). Because he favors one leg it puts an akward amount of strain and pressure on the other leg, this is how he became injured, either good leg or bad leg. He came out and went balls to the wall and messed it up. (he hadn't gone close to 100% prior to that series so it was a shock to his muscles) *Look, I worship TKO as a football god. He plays with more heart than 95% of the NFL. If he can recover I would be the first to congratulate him (if possible). Reality of the situation: TKO is not 22 years old, his body takes much longer to heal now than it would have, say 10 years ago. This type of injury is typically devastating and the run of the mill recovery is that you don't recover (I admit TKO is a specimen and would seem capable of full recovery) For what it's worth, the look on TKO's face after the Pats game when he was being interviewed was a very ominous and sad look (which we all would expect). I had an immediate vibe which told me that this injury is alot worse than everyone thinks and he was aware of it. My heart goes out the guy, he must feel so depressed right now to have worked so hard in recovery only to have it kind of shoved back in his face after 1 series. My expectations are extremely low at this point but hopeful at the same time. -
I think in week 4 they are all going to be wrong about the Miami game. I have a feeling that the Texans are going to pull out a win.

Sadly enough I think Spikes' career is over. He will be missed tremendously but it's time to start looking and planning past him. -

Question for the J.P.Losman haters
generaLee83 replied to Like A Mofo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah if you consider last year a reasonable opportunity for him to develop. Last year the entire Bills organization was in pure chaos as has been confirmed recently. No player will develop or thrive under those circumstances. Which Bill had a good season last year? Schobel? How many Bills could have had a good year if Donahoe and Mularky weren't acting so selfishly in attempting to save their jobs all the time.
