If you dont think the front office is the problem.
generaLee83 replied to NavyBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
hey Daq, is that a picture of you on your avatar? I've always wondered This is off topic but I'm bored of talking about todays game -
I'll be honest with you, I'm going to block you. Not because you've ever done anything to offend me, I've never responded to one of your posts before. It's because I am so deeply tired of reading these "this guy is the answer thread, we need this guy, he'll help out" yadda yaddda yaddda This entire team has failed the last three games. I would hope you would realize that there are other glaring problems with this team other than a young QB who's support structure has fallen apart (O-line, receivers running the worst routes that I've ever seen, a coach who's nickname should be "captain obvious") Do you really think that any other QB is going to be effective on this team, with this line, with this 'd', with this coach? I think absolutely not, you could have put a hall of famer in there at QB today and it wouldn't have changed a thing, maybe you'd get 7 more points or something minute and insignificant like that. The O-line has returned to it's old form only after 7 games. Sorry dude, just have to do it.

Very impressive, sometimes yelling obscenities at opposing fans (whether deserved or not) is a fine way to get a nice release. There were 2 Pats fans sitting next to me (younger couple) who were really obnoxious and then I swear i used the force on them because I actually thought about heaving both of them down off of the upper deck. Within 5 minutes of that thought they got up and left and did not return (it was the 1st quarter). I felt as if I had turned to the dark side but what the hell else are you supposed to do when your getting sodomized by the Pats in your own house?
-
I know we're all emotional right now and all but didn't you see the offensive line today? I'm not making excuses for JP anymore but you could have put Peyton Manning in that backfield and he would have gotten smoked. Marv may get an F for his first year as GM because he didn't address the OL with enthusiasm.

No more cleaning house. A good coaching staff would get this team on track. Jauron has no passion, he seems to be almost too scientific for the game. I truly believe that the reason that players love playing for Dick Jauron is because he is very soft and probably lets the players get away with much more than they would anywhere else. He's one of those people that is so smart that he's actually dumb.

JP looked awful (I'm usually supporter and won't write him off yet) The O-line was a joke (see result above) The receivers stopped running their routes when Losman scrambled, effectively ending the play. The defense only made the stops when it didn't matter, otherwise they got gashed big and wide. Stupid penalties, I would have sat Kelsay for the rest of the game for his late hit. Bad tackling once again, what is it 4 years now of a lack of fundamental tackling. Very questionable clock and game management by Losman and coaches. Delay of game unacceptable, seems to happen every week. Kicking the FG when you're down 21-3 perplexed me, who really cares anyway though. I love this team but my strength gets questioned when you spend near a grand on season tickets, burn a vacation day to go to every home game, spend 40-60 on gas, another 30 on food and then the product that you desire CAN'T EVEN GIVE YOU A MOMENT OF EXCITEMENT I'm not a hater though, I'll be there in 2 weeks for GB and every game from here on out. But man am I sick right now.

I'm usually a very calm and collected person but I wanted to bash their faces in. Most of them are bandwagoners who jumped on 5 years ago.

Remainder of season...

dude, I can never get sick of the taking a duke in the urinal reference -
I don't think there is much comparison. McGahee has outplayed A-Train a bunch this season.

How many times will the announcers today perform fellatio on Bruschi? I'll be at the game but it'd be great if someone would keep count for me. Thanks

3 more players bite the dust

My post above shows my fears if a scandal hit Buffalo. My post here is in complete agreement with yours. Going crazy with testing and banning substances is a double edged sword on just about every level. Yes you clean up the leagues reputation and cater to the fans that have serious concerns over enhancement substances. But at the same time if you went nuts and tested everyone without warning how many players would not test positive for something? All this testing is going to damage the leagues reputation because sooner or later it will appear to the average spectator that every player is an immoral, low life drug user. I propose random testing, have the players regularly observed by health auditors, if they are showing major changes or signs of questionable substance use then test them and get them outta there. Otherwise, leave it alone. This is the same policy that most places of employement use, make a screw up on the job, get tested. Show up late 4 days in a row, get tested. etc etc. As far as ephedra goes, idiots and meth-heads ruined that for everyone. I used ephedra for years in small doses to supplement workouts and weight loss. Mixed with proper hydration and proper diet it had no negative side effects on me. (I've had several EKG's since and my heart is in excellent shape) Ephedra got ruined because young players, usually jsut out of college thought that they played better after eating 50 pills and then forgettig to eat or drink water, the body cannot handle that, so they died or got really really sick. Hate to say it but only the smart/strong survive. Meth-heads is self explannatory. -

As much as I agree with your dislike for Gandy I truly worry that a scandal like this will hit Orchard Park sooner or later. I have confidence in the Bills players and I truly, deeply hope that no one on that team is using anything that is banned by the NFL. If a B-flo player made the news for something bad then all hell would break loose in the media. The Bills can't get any coverage to begin with but you know that if something negative hit Buffalo all the news outlets would question and criticize everything about the organization. It would have a devastating effect, not necessarily because the team is 2-4 but that becasue the team has had a terrible 2 weeks. Kind of like the dump that shattered the toilet. -
Bomb threats on 7 NFL stadiums?

Exactly, clearly a stretchy vadge is more desirable than say a "canyon-like" vadge. Someone should start a poll -
Thank god for the Bears pulling that victory out

That would be like losing to the Cards 61-7 -

Wow - article on Bills' missed tackles
generaLee83 replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's what I'm wondering also. I reacted the same as everyone else initially did, with disgust and contempt for many of the players and fundamental teachings (or lack thereof) by the Bills staff. If this article is truly credible and these figures are accurate I would think that we (the devoted fans who keep in tune with our teams news and other NFL news) will see this article either referenced to or picked up by a major news source in the next few days. While these stats are convincing I wonder why other teams and major NFL analysts don't refer to stats like these more often. Basically what I'm saying is how come articles like these didn't come out 5 years ago? I'm not shooting the messenger here, nor am I criticizing the original poster. If the stats in this article are true and verifiable it is quite obvious that this team (particularly our veteran leaders) have some very serious fundamental problems. -
Ummm, okay. I have a feeling you are a Pats fan in disguise. Get off this board.

generaLee83 replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
WOW!! While some of the stats are quite frightening I have to say it looks like most of the rookies on this team have the best fundamental playing ability. Just an attempt to remain positive. -
He deserves some very decent $$$$$$$

If the Bills signed him I might actually burn my season tickets. If Phillip Buchanon could back up 1% as much sh)t as he talked he'd be the greatest NFL player in history, possibly the greatest human to ever walk the earth, he might even be considered the second coming of Christ. I think it's funny that the Texans released him, I hope no one picks him up and he lives a sad lonely life until he drops dead from a crack overdose at the age of 32.

While I think the group suicide joke is quite funny I don't get the Plummer reference? I thought he was Denver's QB or am I missing something?

I can only wish that Leinart and Leaf will end up being laughed at together someday. At least it'll stop the "we should have drafted Leinart" crap. Of course the "We should have drafted (fill in the blank here with whoever had a good game yesterday) instead of JP Losman" will always continue. I guess it's entertaining though. -
Just noticed this when parousing the stats on NFL.com I'd have to say he's making a fine transition into the #1 WR on B-flo. Rank Player Team Rec Yds Avg TDs Long 1 Roy Williams DET 36 552 15.3 2 42 2 Laveranues Coles NYJ 38 537 14.1 3 58 3 Torry Holt STL 37 526 14.2 7 67 4 Andre Johnson HOU 39 485 12.4 2 53 5 Steve Smith CAR 31 450 14.5 2 72 6 Marvin Harrison IND 32 442 13.8 1 38 7 Lee Evans BUF 36 419 11.6 1 27 8 Keyshawn Johnson CAR 32 419 13.1 2 40 9 Santana Moss WAS 25 415 16.6 3 68 10 Antonio Bryant SF 21 415 19.8 1 72 Congrats Lee!! Of course he'd probably be a bit higher if the old secondary hadn't given up 9000 yards to Roy Williams on Sunday.

Thank you, maybe this post will ground some of the "bit too hopefuls"
