  1. I would not cut Vincent this season. I would work Simpson into the position slowly, over the course of the first 6-10 games. He should definitely see action immediately, but feel him out a little bit. Put him in for a few plays when called for and then spend time analyzing his play with him. I think Vincent still has some great play left in him, especially with the cover 2.
  2. 1. The loss of key players is an obvious factor (Williams, Bledsoe, Spikes). 2. The bad attitudes of the veterans (some understandable some not) I'm sure created a tough locker room situation for younger developing players. 3. Predictable offense- -3rd down draw play to Shaud Williams every f$%king time. -McGahee up the middle, seldomly sent outside. -KH to dump it 7 yards to Moulds 4. Predictable defense- -"Overblitzing" may not be a phrase but it should be in the Official WNY Dictionary. Milloy on the blitz and OH MY!!! Clements or McGee gets burned 5. Mularky is gutless. He should have stepped up and made it very clear to the team who the coach was. It seems like parenting to me, you can be "friends" with your child and they will walk all over you. Or you can guide your children with discipline and commitment and they may not like you but they will act responsibly and make sound decisions and most importantly realize who the boss is.
  3. That's a fantastic idea. Try him as a wideout in odd situations or even in the backfield in short passing situations (dual HB?). He does have unbelievable vision and trying him out on 'O' occasionally couldn't hurt.
  4. If '40' is the new '20'.................. Then 'Bengal' must be the new 'Raider'. This is pathetic, these people make more money in 1 game than the combined 10 year total income of everyone on this board and they can't even keep their a#@es out of trouble. Whenever I see a team that is loaded with bad attitudes and criminals like the 06-07 Bengals I always deeply hope that their season is terrible, like 0-16 with 7 career ending injuries terrible.
  5. London Fletcher without any doubt in my mind. Arguably the most productive LB in the NFL the last 5 years. I think he is just unknown by the Pro Bowl voting fans because he's been part of a team that never makes the playoffs. I hope Buffalo inks him for 3 more years and then encourages him into coaching, if there is any 30+ player on this young Bills team that is worth keeping, it is him. Maybe he won't have 130 tackles in 2009 but he is worth keeping for his example setting-never quit approach. This alone has probably made all of the Bills younger LB's better.
  6. Does McNally know about this one ? Check the Bio "I love the game of football. I only wish I had started playing earlier. I would rather play on defense, because there is no greater feeling than slamming someone in the backfield. " ==> If only Tim Anderson had that much attitude! Wow, I'm going to have trouble sleeping tonight.
  7. Dude, them 'er some meaty legs. I think she plays LT and LG simultaneously.
  8. Watching that play brings back all the emotions of last season, the happiness, the pain, the shame, the unpredictability and worst of all the hope. It would have probably gone down as one of the greatest returns in NFL history, possibly the greatest if it weren't for one person............ The failure to score on that play is the fault of Mark Campbell. Did he ever do anything right in his time here in Buffalo? Oh yeah, I forgot he was the anchor on that waste of time media thing on BB.com where he was to go and interview Bills players and whatnot. He wasn't even good at that, he always looked nervous and timid. Bumbling idiot. He'll never even be a good broadcaster. What a waste of money and space he was. Thumbs up to Marv for realizing this early on.
  9. The game on December 24th will provide me with my annual excuse to miss my expected once per year attendance at church. Don't dis me, I was forced to go every sunday for the first 19 years of my life. When I hit 38 I'll start going again. It's a balance thing.
  10. I've been an avid fan for years but only this year have I started to really pay attention to salary cap/contract issues. What is Whitner worth? What kind of deal should we expect for this #8 pick?
  11. Dude, I'm totally aware of that. Just trying to have some fun. Just showin Ricky some love.
  12. Imagine if the friend who assisted the player was Marcus Vick. It would have been so ugly. A loaded weapon with an extremely low IQ is a bad combination.
  13. He may get coverage, I just highly doubt that it will cover a daily regimen of 24-60 ounces (that's right, I said ounces).
  14. It probably wasn't even a football related injury. I think this one can be chalked up to improper bong placement/procedures. Go Ricky!!!!!
  15. Sorry about the previous mis-posting. I like this assessment the most. Accurate in that there is much more strength and proof in the defense. I do like the optimism of the 1st review however.
  16. I completely agree. I had never really heard much about his personality but this really sums it up. It really disgusts me that any rookie would even remotely consider holding out. It's as if these players don't realize the honor of making a professional team. I'm sure everyone on this board would love to have even 3 hours a week to enjoy throwing the football around away from our jobs. If this is true about Bush I hope he has a terrible career.
  17. There were times last season when I was secretly hoping that JP would nail EMO right in the facemask with an 85 mph bullet about 3 yards out.
  18. "New Bills head coach Dick Jauron has a mess on his hands as camp begins. First there is the matter of the quarterback position, where veteran Kelly Holcomb has been named the starter but there remains great hope that the light will finally come on for former first-round pick J.P. Losman." Whole article: http://www.sportsnetwork.com/default.asp?c.../ABN4031470.htm What is this crap? How out of touch is The Sports Network?
