  1. I find it amusing how many people on this board feel that if Buffalo has a 2 or 3 win season (or winless heaven forbid) that drafting Brady Quinn will solve every problem. BOTTOM LINE, ANY TEAM THAT CAN'T EVEN WIN 5 GAMES HAS MUCH MORE THAN A QB PROBLEM ON THEIR HAND. Does everyone really think that Buffalo only won 5 games last year because of inept play at the QB position by BOTH QB's. How about the awful defense that gave up a first down every single time it was like 3rd and 15. Or how about the secondary getting burned frequently. Willis' season ending godlike proclamation. Horrible coaching. An O-line that barely played at a junior varsity level. Personell problems in the locker room, a GM that could do no wrong. I don't care if we draft the greatest QB in the history of the world, if you put crap around that QB then they will produce crap. Just knock it off and have some optimism that this season may not be that bad.
  2. Although there is part of me that was hoping he would get cut from the Jags (or Tampa Bay as we all know) I'm kind of glad that at least he dropped some weight. I'm sure that when you're that big it's not too hard to put away alot of food quite often and lose track of yourself. Barring his laziness in Buffalo he always seemed to be a personable guy so I hope for the best for him and hope that his health continues to improve.
  3. Fast Freddie shows flashes when he's in the game. He scored a TD on a reception last year (with great effort after the catch) and the year prior he returned a punt for a TD. I don't recall him being involved in too many other games. I've wanted to see him get more of a shot for the last 2 seasons but it doesn't seem to happen. This year looks even tougher for him with the WR corps the way that it is. Aiken probably won't be cut just for his special teams play. You can bet that PP and JR will be on the roster (new contracts) along with Andre Davis, Lee Evans, Roscoe Parrish and even possibly Martin Nance Maybe there is something about Freddy that we aren't seeing, does he have personality issues, does he not get along with coaches? It just seems odd that during last year he played well when he was in the game but was always getting bounced from the practice squad to the regular roster. I'd love to see him make it but my gut sais he's gone this season, maybe he can find his niche with another team, sucks though.
  4. Very nicely put. I'd like to see a meltdown not because I hate either player but because I value the entertainment factor greatly.
  5. I know that this isn't what you intended it to be taken as but I take it as meaning it's 3rd and 16 and the Bills D gives up a 19 yard rush becuase the entire secondary blitzed.
  6. I believe you but the blokes on this board need a link and a works cited list
  7. I really hope it's just minor dehydration and not anything serious with his ticker. I also hope we don't have a stimulant issue coming up. I understand that Ephedra is now banned and tested for but there are many other herbals jumping up now that have similar effects.
  8. Well with this negative nancy attitude I'd say they'll go 0-86, they won't win a game for the next 6 or so years I'm going with 8-8, if you break it down many of the positions have been upgraded, albeit maybe not by much, some by "addition by subtraction", some through the draft and some by younger players stepping up. Will BB win the super bowl, very doubtful but this team will surprise this year.
  9. Thank you for the super important correction
  10. Given that Drew will probably have a good start like usual (first 3-5 games) I'd bet he and T.O. will get along quite well initially, a solid QB who with good protection still has some game left. Let's assume with OL injuries and different defensive schemes Drew returns to his Bills form, firing 95 mph passes into the feet of receivers or just into the crowd or sideline or worse yet getting sacked 10-15 times per game due to "concrete feet". I'd say by week 6 we will see some drama and it will be HILARIOUS. This new drama will be like nothing we have ever seen According to this article: http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/wcStory?conte...=3&FSO1&ATT=HMA It appears that T.O. has not lost any of his attitude, acting out in practice, being fashionably late and stating "if you want touchdowns, if you want somebody to be up there at the top of the leaderboard, then I guess I'm your man." It's still all about himself. Does he really think that Drew is going to stay strong all year? This will be great!
  11. Let's all not forget how Belichik uses the injury list from week to week as a strategy. Tom Brady was listed as doubtful or questionable for every game last year, as was most of the team. It affects gameplanning if you actually buy into it.
  12. I don't get it, V-coach and BB.com reported yesterday that Crowell was penciled in as starter over Posey
  13. someone needs to revive that thread again
  14. Where did you get this information?
  15. right on with that, there was probably some "greenery" in the glove compartment maybe
  16. He's the camp master every year. He and Rob Johnson would make a training camp force to be reckoned with. Best QB-WR camp combination in I don't care how long history.
  17. Even if you were at camp to observe the plays yourself it is still necessary to forward your observations in written form to 3 major news sources. If we ignore this need then we are stepping to far away from objectivity.
  18. I'm right there with you on that one. I watched him closely also, he appeared very out of place. Take the KC game for instance, he recovered a fumble and hesitated for a split second as if he needed to think about what to do. Then he lumbered and I mean lumbered downfield very slowly and was tackled.
  19. CJPearl2 has got a "sick of this and that thread fever" and the only cure is more cowbell
  20. I believe that this is the first of many practical decisions that this coaching staff will make. Jauron and Levy are not afraid to upset people, especially those that were signed to lucrative contracts by Donahoe. Posey may very well be cut.
  21. Right on with that. I think Willis really burns it up whenever he can.
  22. Funny how Brady or Rothlisberger aren't in here and they have won 4 of the last 5 super bowls. Who is Anthony Wright?
  23. WOW, they gave him 10 million for every point he scored on the wonderlic. I'd laugh if he was a bust
  24. I couldn't agree more. A guy who wanted to get the deal done so that he could PLAY and help out this TEAM. F Reggie Bush right in his ear.
  25. My hand is raised to the ceiling. He's a weak armed Paris dater and I don't care much for him. Anyone that would date that c$m dumpster piece of trash does not belong on Marv's Bills.
