  1. blah blah blah blah As if the whole team hasn't collectively sucked this year. "those players deserve a chance to win some games" Those "players" and Losman included have lost games this year with dumb penalties, inconsistent play and lack of discipline. But go ahead, pin it on one guy.
  2. Spend all the time you want on statistics and predictions. I'm scared about the Green Bay game this weekend because of momentum. The Pack has it and so does Favre. The Bills haven't had momentum since the 1st half of the Minnesota game.
  3. Pats 31 Colts 10 I think it is going to be very ugly, the Pats look like the best again this year. I also think that they will beat the Bears too.
  4. This team has lacked energy in the last 4 weeks, it's quite pathetic actually. You would think that a younger team like the Bills would come out psyched to play each week but that hasn't appeared to have been the case.
  5. I'm not advocating a coach that makes the players feel threatened, I like a coach that has a tough love approach. Jauron to me seems like the type of coach that is always trying to remain neutral and safe with his players, the fans and his job. I like a coach to show some emotion every now and then but not one that is controlled by anger (Coughlin comes to mind) Also, if Gregg Williams was in my face screaming right now I'd probably have a hard time not laughing. He doesn't seem to have the physical stature to be an in your face crazy coach.
  6. I'm really starting to hate Urlacher, he's getting very close to reaching Bruschi status.
  7. I don't know about the franchise tag on Fletch. That's going to be an awful lot of money to be used on someone who honestly appears to have lost 1 if not 2 steps this year. I think the Bills should work very hard to ink him before seasons end. I'm sure they could extend him for less than franchise.
  8. There are some that would probably do it for free and maybe a little bit of "dribble" here and there. With all the home-eroticism going on at this board lately it woudln't surprise me.
  9. Good post, Nall however is quite expensive for 3rd string. I could be completely wrong but I thought it was something in the area of 3 years 6 million. If so I would think that he is the highest paid 3rd stringer. He must really suck bad if he's not even above Holcomb on the depth chart. I understand with his injury in the preseason and all he fell behind but how come he hasn't moved past him yet? Waste of money if you ask me. Not that JP or Holcomb are going to win any awards any time soon either though. Good post though.
  10. I'm sure there is truth to most of the links that you present. I'm a cop and I'll tell you from first hand experience, people on pot don't wrestle, scream, yell or threaten to kill me. People that are drunk, on meth (particularly), crack or other dangerous drugs get way more out of hand. I'll take my real life experience over statistics and media figures anyday. Not that I think it should be used and given to all for enjoyment, it's more of a lesser of two evils in my opinion. I'd rather see someone stay at home and smoke some pot and not bother society than go out and get drunk or methed out and kill a family or a cop.
  11. I think now I'll take this thread even further over the line and ask everyone to envision Dick Jauron having sex. Fire Marshal Bill just plugging away!!!!
  12. Well put Bill from NYC, certainly a general decline in moral judgment can be observed all over the place, I shouldn't have singled out just B-flo. Also a very good "common sense" point about being an out of town fan taking a pregnant wife to a football game. While the behavior is completely unacceptable it is almost ignorant (almost) to think that it's safe on another teams home turf. If I bring non Bills fans to the Ralph for games I do not allow them to wear any other teams logos, hats etc etc. It's an exercise in common sense.
  13. I'll be there, section 332 probably looking dissapointed
  14. He does and he stellarly leads the receiving corps with 2 (count 'em) 2 touchdowns!!!!! sorry, sarcastic............
  15. That's terrible, it's sad but the phrase "blue collar" has come to mean severe alcoholic with violent tendencies to me. Buffalo is not what it used to be, in culture and in football.
  16. I couldn't agree more DML. It was funny when I was 16, now I'm 27 and this type of behavior makes me roll my eyes.
  17. I didn't want to do the math but is that right?
  18. I have to turn the volume off, it's such drab that I often consider self inflicting a knife into my temple. ESPN officially sucks in my book, the radio, the channel, everything.
  19. Yep I think you are absolutely right on that one. Bad parent? this thread is ridiculous and completely uncalled for and I don't even like Belichick. did anyone say anything about Marcus Vick's father when dear old Marcus got in deep sh_t for what should have been felonies? Probably not, that would be considered racist or something. BB banged a married woman, she's just as much at fault as he is. And his kid smoked a doober, ooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh in my line of work I would be delighted if 99% of the folks I deal with would just smoke pot and not drink booze, smoke crack, cook meth, shoot heroin, rob people, kill people. etc etc etc. give it a rest
  20. he really John Pauled the crap out of that one
  21. The part of your statement about receivers coming back to the ball is something that I don't see out of any of the Bills receivers other than Evans and Parrish.
  22. I agree with your thoughts. It seems to me that RW is more comfortable hiring unoffensive-walk on eggshells kind of coaches. Maybe he's a tyrant or something or a real heller to deal with in the office. It beats the crap out of me. I've always been in favor of coaches who have a good grip on discipline. These are professional athletes they are dealing with, not Phd students. Most of these athletes have always been told what to do and how to do it, if you give them leeway they tend to wander off and get into all sorts of sh_t. It's nice and fuzzy to hear Jauron talk about having a "family" type atmosphere for the team but I tend to think that that approach works really well if you're managing a ponderosa or something.
  23. I usually like to think WW'nt JD ?
  24. Dude, I constantly have the theme from underpants gnomes in my head. One of the finest SP references ever on this board.
  25. Fans have every right to be upset with this team, just so long as the thoughts and reasoning are justifiable and objective. Look at the Bills as a product (RW and the uppere echelon sure do, it's a business). Has this product been living up to its potential lately?
