  1. Just moving this up
  2. My guess is that they were very "90's-ish Cowboy fans-esque" Probably hopped on the bandwagon after last year or after hearing this years current pool of expertards pick the Bears to win the NFC
  3. Keep this question active
  4. I'm still a big perplexed by this trade. DE does not seem to be one of the trouble positions on this team. Unless the Bills are expecting to lose Schobel, Kelsay or Denney (all 3 have done a good enough job to hold their spots) to free agency or trade I don't understand the move. A 5th round pick may not seem to be a massive loss but for a young team which has recently had alot of it's weaknesses exposed it means alot. Hmmmmm
  5. I'm totally getting a raging clue right now. If It don't take care of it I'm going to spray clue goo all over the place. Once again a fine reference dev/null
  6. I like your assessment, I think that the LB need may be more prominent if we lose Fletcher and TKO is unable to climb back to superstar status. It would help to have a big guy at WR, it's tough though because although I like the thought of a big possession #2 I think that Price, Reed and Roscoe have all made decent plays when expected to this year.
  7. That is absolutely true. If the Bills could have held on to them he would have had 3 INT's last week, not to mention the potential other turnovers that would occur from the mental stress of having 3 previous. The Cards are looking like the Lions did yesterday, fantastic. Moving the ball at will and being in the right place at the right time on D.
  8. "Patriettes" I like that one
  9. He probably is but wasn't Grossman a superstar in the making for the first 5 games of this season also?
  10. Should've, Could've, Would've BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH How many other teams should have drafted him also then? What was he taken? 12th? It's in the past, it cannot be changed. Deal with it.
  11. hahahahahahahahahhaha give it up
  12. How about placing some blame on the line? Lets draft a QB this year and when he sucks b/c of the line lets draft another one. Hell, lets draft nothing but QB's from here on out.
  13. I've heard enough about McNally for the rest of my life. Buffalo has not had a good O-line in 6 years. Try something new.
  14. I'm officially off of the hate Clements bandwagon and I'm going to refrain from my weekly rants towards him. Yes this is hypocrisy on my behalf and I'll take the hits for it. I'm far far far far more concerned about Terrence McGee at this point. He is clearly not showing the prowess necessary to be the #1 corner next year. I do not want to see another secondary-centric draft next year, there is too much need at O-line, D-line and I'm also guessing at LB for the Bills to draft 7 more DB's in 2007. Losing Clements and moving McGee to the #1 corner spot would seem to be a double edged sword. Youboty hasn't seen 1 play this year (what does that suggest?) , Eric King was released in the offseason (questionable move IMO), K. Thomas shows some ability but is a gamble at this point and McGee has absolutely gotten owned most of this season. Kind of like multiplication by subtraction. Go ahead and point out my contradiction and hypocrisy but at least respond to my thread. This should concern all fans.
  15. I agree on this one. The zone coverage on WR's is not being executed properly (cover 2) or the defensive philsophy itself has been exposed and it's weaknesses are glaring to other teams.
  16. Alot of us were very positive after the first 2 games. The Bills had just shut down Tom Brady and Daunte Culpepper. Of course we didn't realize that Culpepper had officially become sub-par and Brady was playing with 1 WR. Damn optimism.
  17. I wish................ that I could just be a low stress care-free fan. Being a Bills fan should come with a 6 month supply of valium or whatever your poison is. Every week you get hopeful, you read all the articles, you post some thoughts on TBD, you talk to your other Bills friends and you have very guarded optimism about the upcoming game. then................... somehow............... The Bills take the position as the weekly urinal that the NFL's bottom feeders take a dump in.
  18. I'm with you on that one. I added some of the regular punching bags to fill the poll out.
  19. I read the first few sentences and all I needed to see was the beginning of #1 to see that I agree completely with you. I don't know if I like the 'cover 2' philosophy of smaller, quick DT's. This is the AFC East where running the ball might as well be the first chapter of the bible. In the yin-yang sense of things this would imply that a team would need a good run defense to win. I'm sure that I could get some agreement that having a couple big DT's (even just 1) stops the run better than ones that get pushed off the line alot (not their fault, they are just outsized quite regularly). Look at the Bills run defense with Ted Washington, Pat Williams, Sam Adams, etc. etc. Most of the better run stopping defenses in the NFL have at least 1 large and in charge DT. As for the offensive line, this may be Marv's 'F' grade this year. While I like the acquisition of Reyes and Fowler and the extension of Peters I don't like the lack of depth and the misguided confidence in Mike Gandy. Chris Villarial also appears to have passed his prime. Next years draft might as well exclusively focus on the lines. Or maybe trade a draft pick or two away for a grade 'A' O-lineman.
  20. Okay Daq, I'm not going to criticise your defense of Clements, he didn't look bad today by any means. Please explain why he wasn't covering Roy Williams, I know it's not his choice of who he covers, why would the coaches stick McGee, who is having a less than stellar year on Williams?
  21. hahahahah I've been waiting for someone to reference the great South Park episode the other night
  22. The cable guide is advertising that the Bills game is on TV. Dallas/Houston is on instead. Am I missing something? Must be George W.'s fault
  23. I picked up JP two weeks ago and started him against the Bears, you know one of those really regrettable gambles. Oddly enough I have Grossman as my starter, could've, should've, would've. Question now, if you had Grossman and JP who would you start this week. Grossman showed the potential last week to make mistakes (3 dropped int's by Bills which were really bad throws). JP may be "due" for a big one (as much as I feel I'm a jinx by saying that) given his poor outing last week.
