Tired of lugging your cooler around the lots?
generaLee83 replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That is honestly the dumbest thing I have ever seen in my entire life. The HP would be used heavily if the cooler was filled with ice and liquid plus a person sitting on top of it. There is absolutely no clearance underneath it whatsoever. Don't dare drive it on anything except perfectly level pavement. I would like to buy several of them just to burn them and destroy them. -
As much as I like Roscoe Parrish

I dont think he's our number 1 anymore. He missed several tackles yesterday because he doesn't tackle at the waist, he merely dives at the ball carriers feet. This is just carry over from last season, he's really began playing badly. He was very dissapointing yesterday for once again declaring himself to be the best CB in the league (this months Shout) -
I thought this was the first of Willis' last two years.

I'd like to see Bflo move up to 22 or something but it probably won't happen. Everyone will say that this game was close because New England had a "bad day" which is a steaming pile of horse sh_t.

What do you think?

"Hey Brady!!!!...........................F_CK YOU!!!!" I'd like to see that one.

That pad or whatever that thing Troy was wearing was absolutely hilarious. It looked like he made it out those sh_tty brown paper towels and scotch tape. It probably wasn't given to him by a trainer or anything, just made it himself. On a serious side now, I like TV but this doesn't upset me one bit. Ko Simpson played well today and I think he should start next game unless they want to give TV one of those Walmart buggies which only seem appropriate if you are white trash, obese and pregnant with your 5th baby in 4 years. EDIT: What made it even funnier was in the press conference after the game Jauron said he didn't know what was wrong with Troy, just that he was "out".

The Bills were competitive against NE
generaLee83 replied to jahnyc's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good post. 1. The running defense looked abysmal, absolutely horrible at times. Huge holes, very poor tackling by the CB's, (Nate Dogg misses as did others). This will lose a game for any team, every single time. 2. Play calling was very decent until Jauron started to become conservative to protect the lead, although I was in favor of kicking the FG on 4th and 1 I would have called a different play if I was forced to go for it. It seemed as if Jaurons marble sack dissapeared at times, there were a few plays that I would have challenged if for any reason only to stifle the Pats momentum a bit. 3. The Safeties were solid, Whitner came up with an INT which was nice but unfortunately he did give up some deep plays. Ko Simpson played well and I have a feeling he's going to start from now on as Grampy Vincent was out after the 1st series wearing that hilarious thing on his leg. Oh and how about Coy Wire, he looked awful as usual. 4. JP played well, the passing game concerned me a bit for a few reasons. Either the Pats secondary was excellent and had PP and Evans covered very well or JP was a bit afraid to air it out to them. It's nice that there were no interceptions but I wonder if the running game would have been a bit more successful in the 2nd half if JP had attempted a bomb to either Evans or Price in an effort to spread the defense. 5. Injuries were tough, I didn't like seeing Keith Ellison or Mario Haggan in the game, both played terribly but probably didn't expect any playing time at all. 6. I fare thee well Mr. Clements. Nate is not a top 5 CB and anyone who thinks so may need a mental health evaluation. His tackling ability alone keeps him from being elite, instead of attempting to tackle at the waist he almost always seems to go for the shoe lace tackles, even when it's not necessary. I'm excited to see how Youboty will play when he returns. Nate isn't worth half of the 7 million he's getting paid. 7. Kick/Punt returns was a bit under par. I hold my breath every time Parrish is deep for a PR. The fact that the ball bounced off his facemask, while hilarious is quite sad. McGee had 1 great return but I would question his desire to take it out of the endzone on some of his returns. He is still the man however and if he feels comfortable taking it out then I say let him. All in all it was quite a surprise today to see the Bills play well, given a new coach, new system and 21 new players. It was a bummer though because that same ominous feeling returned when the Bills failed to convert the 4th and 1 from the red zone. You just knew at that point that the tides had turned and the Bills were going to lose. I look forward to next game and I will stick with the Bills going 8-8 this year. -
How about A-train huh? I'll be honest, I really didn't know what to expect from him after he made the team, he certainly didn't have a killer preseason. I think he defines power running. I was very surprised that he didn't make any appearances after his big run. I would like to see Buffalo utilize a 2 back system like other teams are implementing. I'm not suggesting that it should go 50/50-Willis/A-Train, maybe more like 70/30. This guy can run and receive.
-
I would think that a thought like that is one of those thoughts that you just "keep bottled up", it's not like anyone would ever find out that he didn't know that it was 4th and 1.
-
The makeup of the game would have been completely different had buffalo kicked a FG you f'ing idiot. They allowed the momentum to swing huge on the road and it cost them the game.
-
Actually boss, I said kick the FG from the get go so do not accuse me of being a hindsight fan.
-
thank you, I'm tired of searching for positives when all that matters is if you win the game. The run defense looks worse than it did last year. Willis started out running quick and then he got the dancies and sucked. Where was A-Train after his TD run? did he get in at all after that? Why the hell wasn't JP in shotgun when they were so backed up? The D line was absolutely owned and Nate missed several tackles as did McGee. Were the WR covered so well? Where were they? Not 1 deep attempt all day? What happened to spreading the defense. Jauron clammed up like the Fonz did in Waterboy after the Pats stopped that 4th and 1. And to everyone who sais the Pats were driving at that point you are wrong. The Pats did not come alive until the big stop by their 'D'. It's almost more depressing to lose a close game that you were not supposed to win than to just outright lose. I dread this year.
-
Okay Sven but that didn't happen did it? Buffalo could have had the win if they kicked the damn field goal. Great call? Right call? GEEEEEE, when I look at the scoreboard it doesn't look too right seeing as how the Bills would have had 20 if they kicked.
-
I completely disagree. Not converting that 4th down led to a huge momentum swing which could have been stifled if 3 had been put up on the board. Horrible call.
-
I believe that coaching cost this game for the Bills. Going for it on 4th and 1 and running the 1 play that hasn't worked all day was a horrid decision. If it was between kicking the field goal and running Willis up the gut I would have taken the field goal. It's as if Jauron didn't realize that you CANNOT let momentum swing one bit the way of the Patriots. BB siezed the opportunity and won the game. I have other points but this was the play call that stands out the most.

Thank you as usual buddhist canine -
Is that a metric Sh_tload? or a cubic Sh_tload? Either way it's going to be messy at Foxboro. 75 rushing 17 receiving

Post your week 1 score predictions
generaLee83 replied to generaLee83's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Cleveland will be good this year. Tennesee appears to have some personnel issues (Volek vs. everyone) and I honestly think that Houston will be better than what everyone expects (just trying to give EMO some props) Houston is my week 1 upset. I'll probably be completely wrong but hey this is fun while I'm waiting for the game to start. -

congrats, by the way your avatar is hilarious -
I'm awake because I'm at work "protecting and serving", I wish I had 7 beers earlier, hmmm, maybe I will. It gets lonely on these boards around 3 AM usually, it's kind of funny when I can refresh the main thread page and see my username like 10 times because I'm the last person to reply to all of them. Gets so boring that sometimes you'll even reply to your own thread. I'm excited too, I get done at 8AM and I'm going to make a real good effort to sleep until noon and then drag my a_s out of bed to watch the game. Go Bills, win but if not at least make it respectable.

Pats cut fast Freddy!!!!!!!!!!
generaLee83 replied to Eric/Hawaii's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I bet Smith probably did get a hold of the Pats "real" play book. Of course this is the play book that has connect the dots and coloring involved. And it's labeled the "super secret playbook" and it has two plays, "the pass" and "the run". Authored by Einstein McGahee himself. BB pulled a fast one. You wish cancer on him, I wish a very slow farming accident on him. I'd like to see someone slap him in his stupid face. -
