Yeah... I see their record being something like 1984's.

You seem like a very unhappy and vindictive prick. The dude did a bad bad thing. The dude got arrested. The dude virtually lost almost all of his fortune. The dude served more time in prison than some bastards do for murdering human beings (OJ Simpson?). The dude is on paroll. The dude has paid his debt to society. Let the dude go in peace and if whomever wants to hire him for any legal job, that's up to them. This is the USA... and I'd hate to think that everyone is judged on stupid things they did in their youth, several years later. Vick isn't getting a free pass... whatever he does next, because of his past, will be under a microscope. The ball is in his court to begin anew. Like everyone else, he deserves his shot.

Who is the weakest link in the Bills chain?
Dr. Trooth replied to Billistic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Weakest link? There are many weak links, but you want the weakest one... clearly, overwhelmingly, and undisputable it is Dick Jauron. He is a big LOSER. Bills have no chance with him as HC. This guy does not deserve to be even a defensive or special teams coordinator... he is an average position coach at the NFL level. -
Uh, dude... does playing RT in the ACC plus three years playing RG in the pros qualify him? You think the coaches have made a huge mistake? No one know's how he will pan out until he has a few games under his belt. But to suggest his service at RT at ACC doesn't qualify him to play RT in the NFL without even giving consideration to his yeoman work at RG is bull sh--. Hell, even Jerry Ostroski did a somewhat decent job at RT after playing RG... and he had no where close to the athletic ability that Butler has. Butler was a high school hoop star and has quick feet for his size.

Bills: Sacrificial lamb at The Razor
Dr. Trooth replied to Billistic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Get real. The Bills defense is a collection of pussies. They don't "bring it" to a credible offense. There is no Ray Lewis, Troy Polomalu, Shawn Merriman, Joey Porter, etc.. In fact, this team hasn't had a player with a sack since TKO and Fletcher. -
Do We Have a Better Team Now than at the End of 2008 ?
Dr. Trooth replied to Kenwick's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
In a nut shell... Yeah, perhaps the Bills are better than the past season. Big deal. Did they make a quantum leap forward? NO! Proportionally, have they improved as much as the teams in their division and their conference? On the whole, NO!. -
Wrong. The reason they won't make the playoffs ain't because of the rookies. It's because many of their vet starters suck plus (especially) the HC is a loser.

I am sick of hearing about how our coaching sucks....
Dr. Trooth replied to SKOOBY's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Anyone can rationalize anything. But, the trooth is the trooth. And, at the end of the day Dick Jauron is a loser... flat out, period, end of story. And, that's the trooth. -

Positive Comments about Jauron
Dr. Trooth replied to RumblingsFromRalph's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would consider any "neutral" comment on Jauron's behalf should be counted as positive, even though in this case it isn't. Jauron = Loser as an HC and DC. -
Yes. The Bills will don practice unis with the Celino & Barnes Logo on Mondays, Wegmans on Tueday, Tops on Wednesdays. Contracts are in the works for Levitra on Thursdays, and Cialis on Fridays.

WTF??? The most likely scenario is that you will not graduate from 6th grade in another week, and instead be declared insane. What a waste of bandwidth.

Joel Bell and Bills FO record with UDFA

Teams that drafted 1-12 overwhelminly made changes??? Now that is a surprise. Don't they usually? When a team sucks, they usually select 1-12... ya know... reverse order of finish?. And when they suck, the hammer drops. As for Brandon... he's exceeded expectations in his area of expertise. As long as Ralph's around, Brandon walks on water and can do no wrong. Ralph ain't in it to win, he's in it to turn a buck. And, as evidenced by 52K season tix sold (and counting) for a team that's stuck on 7-9 and the worst team in the division, Brandon has generated a lot of coin for Ralph without significantly improving the team to keep on par with the other teams in the division. Yeah, Russ can sell ice in the Arctic Circle... he certainly turned water into wine this time. It ain't his fault he inherited a loser coach. Worse case... when they miss the playoffs again this year, Russ gets to bring in a real HC.

Trent's press conference today

OK... so he went to the Russ Brandon school of marketing and charm. So What? Show me the endzone, Trent. Bullschitt walks and touchdowns talk. -

Could SB victory keep Bills in Buffalo?

It's inevitable the Bills are moving to Barrows, Alaska... they'll play the 2012 season there -

I'll make it real simple. Five letters, that's why.... T-E-X-A-S Go back over the past 20 years. Count how many Texas players were drafted in the first round. Then, figure out how many of them were busts. Oh, and add Orakpo to that bust list.

Schouman ready for the challenge
Dr. Trooth replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The REALITY of it is that he's as brittle as fine crystal. 18 receptions and a TD in two seasons, on a team that has virtually no competition at TE, gives me absolutely zero incentive to get excitedt. If the Bills had a real HC, he wouldn't even be on the team. -

Six consecutive years where you just plain suck on offense
Dr. Trooth replied to LGB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You get it. I'll expand that thought a bit further. The NFL is about making money. While there are a few owners that have a passion to compete and win championships, the other 80% don't care about that.... they just want to make buck... and that includes Ralph Wilson. Wilson promoted Russ Brandon for one reason and one reason only... to make him some cash... quickly. Russ' area of expertise is marketing, and he knows that this game is marketed to the 14-35 year old male demographic. They are fresh, don't have the football intelligence of someone that has watched the game for 30-40 years, and can be "snowed". The other demographic was the Toronto or Canadian fan base that they wanted to expand. The 20K or so fans from the Toronto area that regularly attend the games was not Russ' target... he already had them in his pocket. So, Russ had fresh meat to work with as well in that demographic... So, Russ' job is to create "top of mind awareness" of the Bills. Bringing in his new circus act, TO, does that. TO brought the Bills several national TV games this coming season. If the Bills don't bring in TO, they are lucky to get one. The demographic that I alluded to doesn't get jacked by watching the Bills... they are boring (just like their coach). But add TO and that gets everyone's attention (both demographics), because "I've heard of him" and he is "showtime"... at least in his prime. Russ knew he had to sell tix. He couldn't build a winner because 1) he doesn't know how to (he's a marketing guy), 2) building a winner takes time anyway... time that he doesn't have, and 3) He has a loser for a HC and he couldn't bring a team of prow bowlers to the SB. So, the next best thing was to snow those two new fresh demographics.... and increase ticket sales. So far it has worked.
