  1. Folks--any news on when they'll let us know if we can buy tickets? I entered the presale lottery for season ticket holders, but it looked like that's open to register until Monday. Anyone have a sense of how likely registrants are to actually get tickets? Want to wait and make sure I get tickets before allowing myself the fun of thinking about hotels/flights/soccer tickets, etc.....
  2. Many thanks, GB--I'd love to see an Arsenal game while there. Toured Emirates Stadium a few years back, but have never been to a game there. By "gold dust," do you mean almost impossible to get or just very expensive, and if the latter, any sense how much secondary market tickets might run?
  3. Some clickbait from Florio. I think I just threw up in my mouth a little even contemplating this.... https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/03/30/if-bill-belichick-and-patriots-part-ways-after-2023-what-happens-next-for-belichick/ From the article: "Then there are the Bills. They have quarterback Josh Allen. They have underachieved in recent years. Could the Bills empty out the organization and turn everything over to Belichick? It’s hard to imagine someone not wanting Belichick. But there’s a different aura around him now than there was five years ago. First, he’d have to want to keep going. If he does, he’d surely get a chance. And with the right roster, there’s a chance he could be the first coach to win a Super Bowl with two different teams." Talk about a deal with the devil....
  4. Well, of course Solomon Grundy does!
  5. Zay Jones is a waste of space so far this game--its like they're playing with one wide receiver, locking on Kirk, and he missed a key block n on thar series. Worse than worthless....
  6. Will the Premier League presumably be in season then? If they play on Saturdays, may be a great sports weekend "double dip" opportunity. London is such a great city--I'll definitely look into going....
  7. Plus it would give the winner a short week vs their next opponent. No thanks.
  8. And to his credit, I think Taylor agreed with him--that's why I think he crossed the field to talk to him. United front.
  9. Awesome! Many thanks—en route now, looking forward to getting there (and having some La Super Rica for lunch next week!)….
  10. Heading to the in-laws in Santa Barbara for the holidays. Anyone know if there’s a Bills Bar there? Maybe one of the places on State Street downtown? Many thanks, Happy Holidays and Go Bills!
  11. I thought the same thing when he whipped that TD ball towards the fans with photographers and sideline folks right there. Come on, dude, really?
  12. Just do what I do on such (thankfully) rare occasions--I just keep my fingers crossed until I can see a score of the game--works like a charm (well, most of the time)....
  13. I was there in August for the first time—absolutely loved it (and Go Bills!)
  14. My wife thinks he looks more like Jason Momoa, or his Dothraki character on Game of Thrones, Kal Drogo, which is actually a compliment. He must be a good coach if Kromer kept him over from the last coaching staff.
  15. I think the rotation is related to the heat. Rest Singletary
  16. Very glad to see this, too. Not to sound too "tin foil hatty," but with gambling allowed on Wimbledon matches, were I king I would check into whether any large wagers were made against Jessie for that match and see if there's any connection between any such wagers and those who started the rumors. The rumor just seemed a bit too oddly timed and weirdly specific to be totally random....
  17. Watch any of the press conference on this? This was clearly racially motivated. Apparently the guy referenced "the Great Replacement Theory" (one of Tucker's favorites) in his manifesto. He hated immigrants. It's all over the press, and I'm sure even more will come out over time about this racist, rightwing loser. Not shocking, sadly--allow incendiary, dehumanizing rhetoric with no repercussions, and this is the obvious and predictable result.
  18. I don't know about that (unless it's because we all already have Allen jerseys), but I did just say to my wife that I bet he is going to sell a ton of jerseys this year.
  19. Weird coincidence. I just got my hair cut this afternoon here in Westchester and they had the draft on. I had them turn it up for the Bills' 5th round pick and one of the barbers asked how I liked the 3rd round pick last night. I proceed to talk about the Baylor LB and the barber stops me and says, "no, not the pick--the guy who announced the pick." I (honestly) say "loved it, just like most Bills fans" and the barber goes on to tell me that Kyle Brandt lives here in town and is a customer of his, so I compliment Brandt's haircut. Small world.....
  20. Might it be this story in which Cox was sued for sleeping with someone else’s wife? Maybe they’re scared he’ll go after theirs next? https://syndication.bleacherreport.com/amp/2745706-fletcher-cox-sued-for-allegedly-having-sex-with-mans-wife-ruining-marriage.amp.html
  21. Totally disagree. That was the obvious call. If you squib it correctly, they will either mishandle it or field it cleanly at like the 10
  22. In the 6 seconds they’d have had? Doubtful
  23. The decision to not squib kick that kickoff lost is the game. Full stop.
  24. Why can’t we have nice things? Dumbest coaching decision I’ve EVER seen….
