  1. In the grand scheme of things, I just don't get the Bills would be better with Vick comments. I'm not a Fitz supporter be any means, but he runs an offense that scores a lot of points, more than Vick's offense. Fitz's biggest problem is turnovers at very in opportune times (and then our D loses the game for us). Guess who else has the same problem? Fitz has thrown 9 INT with 3 fumbles. Vick, 8 INT with 5 fumbles. Yesterday's game was an anomoly for Vick. He usually singlehandedly gift wraps wins for other teams. So, Vick can throw a ball farther than Fitz. Look where that got him? Pretty much nowhere. We would crucify Vick here. Haven't we had enough of QBs who are mistaken prone? Have our standard fallen that much over the years. Plus, I would be careful in saying that Vick behind our line would be so much better. We just don't know. Our line is very good, but this success is partially due to Fitz. He can't throw a ball more than 20 yards, so he gets rid of the ball quickly. Vick wouldn't be getting rid of the ball as quickly. Saying that we would want Vick over Fitz is like picking a Dodge Dart over Kia Rio. I wouldn't want either one. Enough with the cast-offs already. Why do we always get stuck picking the lesser of two evils? I couldn't possibly believe either one would lead us to a Superbowl.
  2. I'm in DC. People here are acting like the world's ending.
  3. Hey, they didn't lose this week. Be grateful.
  4. We should all celebrate today. The Bills did not lose!
  5. In my book, this makes him all the more qualified.
  6. "I have never been charged with a crime...But I soon realized there were still some skeptics out there, so I just decided to audible to doing a 'My Bad on the raping.'" - Roethlisbeger "I take these charges very seriously and look forward to clearing my good name. I respectfully ask all of you to hold your judgment until all of the facts are shown." - Vick
  7. Luck may be the better "prospect", but we have no idea who will be the better NFL QB. It's impossible to pick that. Just look around the NFL. Two of the best QBs in the NFL (Brady, Rodgers) were hardly considered can't miss, one in a lifetime prospects.
  8. He looks good to me on paper, never seen him play though. I'm fairly sure that there's going to be QBs coming out of the woodwork (QBs beyond the usual suspects - Geno, Barkley, Jones) come draft time that will be going in Rd 1 and 2. It's too early for the draft hype we witness come the combine.
  9. This really is not a bad idea. I wonder if its ever been done. Closest thing I can think of is what the Redskins did with the last draft. Worse thing that can happen is that the 2nd pick QB is a bust. It's not like we never had 2nd or 3rd busts. Best thing that can happen is that he develops well and we trade him for another 1st. I just think its poor planning that our current FO has not drafted a QB in the last few drafts. Regardless of the starter, a team should always be grooming a young QB.
  10. I still want to know how they got that 50 number. Wonder if its the average yards an interception is returned with pick-6s counting as 100?
  11. This is beyond stupid. It has nothing to do with VY, but why would we go after a QB we just cut a couple months ago. Doesn't our FO at least have an ounce of creativity? Anyways, anyone get any scoop yet from Luke Russert's mom?
  12. I'm all for this. Can he chuck the ball greater than 20 yards?
  13. Aren't the Eagles high on Foles? This is what the Bills should have been doing, grooming a young QB despite who the starting QB is. As for Jax, will they give up on Gabbert so soon? They do have a new GM though, so this could cause them to change QBs. I agree with the Raiders and KC. Let's hope Brady Quinn blows it up though. Cleveland may not want to give up on Weeden either. They just drafted him. They wouldn't have drafted him only to pick another 1st round QB the next year. He hasn't been that bad either. The new GM/owner could have a different opinion though. We also have to realize that these teams stinking it up (Arizona, KC, Jax, Cleveland) have many holes on their rosters. Unlike us, I would hope, these teams are still going to suck even with a 1st round QB.
  14. I don't think we will beat the Colts. Luck will carve up our D by then.
  15. And a meddling owner who is known to make his own personnel decisions. But, after all, he is the owner. Anyways, so what if we can't get a hot coordinator to take the job? There's always some up-and-coming offensive quality control or assistant tight end coaches who may interview for the job.
  16. The pass should not have been thrown... The QB is a very unique position in football. It yields much power. Regardless of how a QB played all game, they can lose the game with one errant throw. We saw this today.
  17. Exactly. Fitz is earning us a better position in the draft with each passing week. No way would I replace him.
  18. Maybe Bucky was right. Maybe we really didn't win last week.
  19. Waving his finger high in the air. Bastard.
  20. It just wouldn't be a Bills game without a Fitz pick.
  21. History has told us otherwise.
  22. Looks good. Hopefully our D can suck less than their D.
  23. Yes, the less Fitz is involved with the offense, the better.
