  1. Luck may be the better "prospect", but we have no idea who will be the better NFL QB. It's impossible to pick that. Just look around the NFL. Two of the best QBs in the NFL (Brady, Rodgers) were hardly considered can't miss, one in a lifetime prospects.
  2. He looks good to me on paper, never seen him play though. I'm fairly sure that there's going to be QBs coming out of the woodwork (QBs beyond the usual suspects - Geno, Barkley, Jones) come draft time that will be going in Rd 1 and 2. It's too early for the draft hype we witness come the combine.
  3. This really is not a bad idea. I wonder if its ever been done. Closest thing I can think of is what the Redskins did with the last draft. Worse thing that can happen is that the 2nd pick QB is a bust. It's not like we never had 2nd or 3rd busts. Best thing that can happen is that he develops well and we trade him for another 1st. I just think its poor planning that our current FO has not drafted a QB in the last few drafts. Regardless of the starter, a team should always be grooming a young QB.
  4. I still want to know how they got that 50 number. Wonder if its the average yards an interception is returned with pick-6s counting as 100?
  5. This is beyond stupid. It has nothing to do with VY, but why would we go after a QB we just cut a couple months ago. Doesn't our FO at least have an ounce of creativity? Anyways, anyone get any scoop yet from Luke Russert's mom?
  6. I'm all for this. Can he chuck the ball greater than 20 yards?
  7. Aren't the Eagles high on Foles? This is what the Bills should have been doing, grooming a young QB despite who the starting QB is. As for Jax, will they give up on Gabbert so soon? They do have a new GM though, so this could cause them to change QBs. I agree with the Raiders and KC. Let's hope Brady Quinn blows it up though. Cleveland may not want to give up on Weeden either. They just drafted him. They wouldn't have drafted him only to pick another 1st round QB the next year. He hasn't been that bad either. The new GM/owner could have a different opinion though. We also have to realize that these teams stinking it up (Arizona, KC, Jax, Cleveland) have many holes on their rosters. Unlike us, I would hope, these teams are still going to suck even with a 1st round QB.
  8. I don't think we will beat the Colts. Luck will carve up our D by then.
  9. And a meddling owner who is known to make his own personnel decisions. But, after all, he is the owner. Anyways, so what if we can't get a hot coordinator to take the job? There's always some up-and-coming offensive quality control or assistant tight end coaches who may interview for the job.
  10. The pass should not have been thrown... The QB is a very unique position in football. It yields much power. Regardless of how a QB played all game, they can lose the game with one errant throw. We saw this today.
  11. Exactly. Fitz is earning us a better position in the draft with each passing week. No way would I replace him.
  12. Maybe Bucky was right. Maybe we really didn't win last week.
  13. Waving his finger high in the air. Bastard.
  14. It just wouldn't be a Bills game without a Fitz pick.
  15. History has told us otherwise.
  16. Looks good. Hopefully our D can suck less than their D.
  17. Yes, the less Fitz is involved with the offense, the better.
  18. I say I smell a blow out. Enjoy it while we're in 1st place.
  19. Geno looks like he'll feel right at home on the Bills.
  20. Since the speculation train is running full steam, how about we trade for Bowe, then turn around and trade him for a QB.
  21. I blame Fitz for this ineptitude.
  22. What about Tim Russert's mom? Edit: damn, someone beat me to it.
