  1. I'm 1000000 % in on a retractable roof option. Mostly because its a loss of revenue production if they don't, Already have seen how many Bill sfans don't show up in December and We saw in the past how many Bills fans didn't show up for a playoff game after a few years of representing back in the 90's. Also a loss of extra revenue with big concert's events etc... I know diehards like the elements. But diehards will show up if there is a roof. Its the a solid percentage of less than diehard fans who don't like to sit for 3 - 5 hours in ***** weather. They won't show up if there is no roof
  2. I eat peanut butter about 3 TBSPs nightly with 1 square (or 1/4 a serving) of 90% Lindt Dark Chocolate My wife loves Peter Pan Creamy so that's what I eat. I compared them all there really is little difference between brands regarding nutritional values. it really comes down to taste preferance Sometimes you show them your nuts
  3. actually it really is. Unless you think Nike shouldn't protect themselves from a large negative fall out which is just bad business decision making.
  4. We shall know the results before the year is out
  5. You don't have to go to China.... sorry brother.. C.O.D.
  6. You should post a couple of his good songs for us to enlighten ourselves
  7. You can't arrest a guy for getting out of car? ?
  8. Flutie wasn't good in any NFL era. A few fun plays here and there but overall the guy sucked at QB in the NFL and because he was short who occasionally made an exciting play, this some how endeared himself to a very strange group of revisionist. Was the guy over rated. OFF THE CHARTS...
  9. Actually if the KKK or other hate groups are using this then yes I would make sure it gets pulled.. Nothing positive can happen if hate groups are using a symbol to push their agendas. If hate groups are commandeering these symbols for their agendas then its these hate groups that are causing this and Kaep is not wrong to point out the facts. Nike does not want to be associated with such groups and this is why they would pull the shoes not because Kaep said so, but because Kaep was able to point it out to them before they took a beating from the majority for aligning with hate groups Now I do not know if the KKK and Identify Evropa are actually using this Betsy Ross flag, but if they are then attack those entities not Nike not Kaep. Because in this story the only thing I know is Nike felt strong enough to pull the shoes because of an association with these hate groups.
  10. I think the point is if we do not do a good job at maximizing revenue, (short arming a new stadium) and more revenue can be made elsewhere then the push to move to a larger revenue generating area might start to take form.. More than likely we are going to get a new stadium that will satisfy the area and the NFL so not worried.. But if we do decide to go cheap or force a cheap stadium fix then yes I can see the push to get the Bills out of Buffalo gaining LOTS OF STEAM. This is why it is important to get the right stadium in the right area for the right cost and a good ROI
  11. Money talks, and low revenue walks... Not many people vote to decrease their wallet size. In the end the NFLPA and the NFL would be in agreement because the goal is to increase revenues, something the recent CBA made sure the players were a part of. I don't think any players are truly loyal to any city.. In the end their love for any one city would be trumped by there desire for larger revenues and bigger paychecks. This is the world we created. I don't worry about this because I think Buffalo will bounce back on the revenue scale given the present upgrading of the city / surrounding areas and the fact we are coming out of a very long losing tradition. Winning will increase revenues a solid chuck.. While a new modest stadium will catapult us upward towards the half way mark. We are never going to compete with the top 10 biggest teams, but neither will most other franchises
  12. For the record that is exactly what is happening to our society in general. Working poor, weakening middle class, tax polices favoring the wealthy. In fact most everything is being skewed in favor of the "country club membership" mentailty. Everything will adjust accordingly. If that who has all the money then you can bet the farm nobody is going to be trying to draw blood from a stone (the working poor). If that is where the majority of the money resides then that is what the NFL is going to go after. They will put in heated seats and catered drink service etc.... Raise prices 10x or 100xs to grab some of that money. Eventually us common folk will be squeezed out or forced to watch from the outside. I would love for this reality to be different but unfortunately we have 50 + years of data that clearly shows this inevitability on the present trajectory. I keep thinking we will see this turn in the workers favor, but it has not, the working class is trending negatively
  13. Yes this is true... Is it weather based ? If it is weather based than the reality is we need a retractable roof. Can't have people staying home because they don't wanbt to be in th elements in December / January If its not weather based then maybe we are not a city capable of generating the revenue necessary, and therefore should be moved to place that can generate the revenue. I know so many here are against a roof of any kind.. but as you are pointing out even when we were winning we weren't selling out in December / January.... Although the stadium did house about 10k more those days Myself I am all in on retractable roof option. It just makes more fiscal sense.. You will get more revenue out of a retractable roofed stadium in this area. Now the only formula is ROI for sed roof. if its positive then tis happening IMO. Nice option about a retractable roof is you can decide to leave it open when Miami comes to town late in the season
  14. LOL.. I think todays roofs are very well designed... Seriously how much technology is needed with a retractable roof. I know the 1st few retractable roofs came with issues We are an elements town until the team is eliminated from the playoffs then people don't show up cause its cold and snowy. If were winning and in the hunt then we show up in full force and put the fear into other teams fans with our insane embracing of crazy weather A roof might be a condition the NFL wants just to ensure those dec home games generate more revenue. It may also be something the state wants so attract more and larger acts when the stadium is not in use for football. The roof decision will probably fall in with revenue generation equation. Revenue will win if the ROI of the roof is positive in their eyes
  15. We are towards the bottom but this is also after 17 ***** years of no winning.. Wining tradition alone will give us a give phat revenue bump, and a decent stadium should make our revenue generating picture much much rosier
  16. well look at the revenue of all 32 teams we can easily return to the top half with a decade of winning football and / or a modest upgraded new stadium. So if its purely a revenue question we are not far out and can close this gap IMO. But no we are never going to compete with the largest metropolises over the next couple of decades, but neither are 15 or so other teams in the NFL... SO I just don't see any reason to feed the thought that the NFL will force the Bills out of Buffalo UNLESS!!!! (so here I go feeding the thought) UNLESS !!!!! Buffalonians pretty much refuse to build a new stadium and create more revenue. If that is the reality and Bills fans take a hard lined approach and refuse to allow a new stadium, and demand a much smaller investment be made into the old stadium, then yes I could see pressure coming from the NFL to move the team to a city who is willing to do so. Cash is king..... A Business is the business of being in Business and if one part of that business is under performing well then that's the part that gets moved. This would be do to the fact that the Bills are not doing everything to maximize their portion of revenues, and it will do exactly what you say, it will earn the ire of the other 31 teams In the end it is the DUTY of the Buffalo Bills to continue to create increasing revenue to the NFL. That's the nature of any Business, and for Bills fans to sit back and think that keeping the old Ralph rolling or trying short arm a stadium build then I do agree that the NFL should and probably will threaten to move the team. You are right Terry and Kim are actually do this smartly by walking the tightrope. Not rushing anything turning over every stone and keeping both parties interest in mind. I could see a nicely upgraded stadium in OP as the compromise... The question is does the NFL pony up a few $100 million to help out?
  17. re read my edit I added more info. I feel we are pointing north in regard's to revenue generation.. This is without a new stadium, add a new stadium and winning tradition and we will close that gap in a real hurry IMO
  18. I disagree.. Where are you getting this info. Or are you dressing up opinion as fact because I don't believe this to be anywhere near reality.... Reality is Buffalo must generate more revenue..... However I seriously doubt 31 other owners would vote us out of Buffalo if it was purely up to just the owners. Especially when you see in regards to revenue we are within shot of being a top 15 revenue creating franchise. A solid playoff run and some winnning tradition alone closes that gap significantly. $415 million is the cutoff point for top 15. We are sitting at $364 in 2018. A new stadium AND A winning tradition moves us up significantly on the revenue scale. I don't think savy businessmen are really in that much of a hurry to Jettison Buffalo.. especially when Buffalo is building up quite nicely and is showing a brighter future in America
  19. Kind of follows what is being built here. Find guys that want to work hard and be apart of something... This should be the new norm for becoming a Buffalo Bill. 80 + players working their asses off has to make it a tough competitive camp
  20. Soon to be #1 ranked
  21. not worried.. I like our team.
  22. I'd be happy with 3500 yds from Josh over a full 16 games this year while still showing some rushing prowess. Over 4k and we are talking possible OPOY possibilities 3500 yds would be a stupendous year 2 for the man, 4K would catapult him to a top 10 maybe 5 mention easily..
  23. But this analogy proves the point that the metrics used to gauge "best Fans" (which I associate with Die Hard Fans) are skewed and favor the heavy weight with the longer reach. So to gauge true fandom the pound for pound debate must proceed and the data be utilized with per capita, median house hold incomes / disposable incomes.... need to be the metrics involved for true gauging fandom. Die hard fans tend to support their teams when the chips are down and money is tight. Fair weather fans disappear during these years.. The original study vastly overweight's population and teams riding recent winning traditions.
  24. I think people are growing very tired of the hate train. We went through a few decades of over the top challenge's to civility via our media. Most of us have had enough of the negativity and are turning it off. I'd rather be ignorant to the world then be smothered with never ending hate and fear
