  1. Football is highly strategic and requires precise timing and a developed chemistry Great Way to evaluate bubble players as well as hone the Offense and defense. Players need to be conditioned for the season. Also practicing against yourself becomes uninspiring and practicing against another team allows for perspective. Players learn the nuances o other players after repitition so practicing against yourself becomes self defeating at a certain point I would think. Yes they're risks, but risks out weigh the rewards IMO . Its football, injuries happen, and that is why the best teams also have good depth.
  2. It wasJust opinion on my part
  3. this is what is feeding the conjecture. You are correct they can't really discuss it, but that leaves all of us worrying about his health and to a lesser extent can he actually play. I expect him to be a go week 1 based on the fact they aren't saying much. If it was really bad I think we would not see him with the team at all, and we would of heard more details by now. I'm still concerned for him though
  4. That is the part that makes this all a lot worse. We are all left speculating the severity of this. Are they being super cautious or are we looking at season ending IR with a possible medical retirement ?
  5. Finally a voice of reason ?
  6. With that speed and rugby back ground he is prime for special teams return duty IMO. The guy is 3rd all time for tries as a rugby player, so he knows how to crash some bodies without pads, and his strength in his game was/is speed and evasion. It will be a fun underdog story to follow next camp. Can they turn him into a NFL player ? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Premiership_Rugby#Tries http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/rugby_union/rules_and_equipment/4204010.stm
  7. There's always a few who over think preseason.. 1st preseason game no real game plan and a few series is not enough to get into a rhythm or dust off some rust for a QB.... or an Offense...... Way too many nuances/continuity to continue to work out for a 2nd year O
  8. yes you are missing the sarcasm... I should add [/sarcasm] tags.. 1 or 2 inches from perfect in the NFL is still perfect
  9. No Way you can blame that on Zay. You'd have to be a contortionist to make that catch. I mean that has to be an inch or maybe 2 off perfect. 5 outta 4 people are bad at math
  10. I had 212-1 set up on DirecTV and it said Buffalo vs Colts but when the game started the screen went black, and of course the message you are out of area and are not allowed This happens every time their is an alternate channel listed for the Bills or Sabres. Its a place holder for those in market or those who paid for Centre Ice for Hockey and that is all
  11. My anger is placed towards the NFL regarding preseason games. Its preseason for Christ sake give the fans a little something for their years of loyalty. $99 for gamepass that includes a bunch of perks I have ZERO interest in Sad IMO
  12. What is in it that artcilee that hasn't been said or agreed upon by pretty much everyone here However some are choosing to trend the negative side of the information while the majority see it a solid 1st preseason effort with no time to get into any sort of game groove.. Perceptions
  13. On that particular pass I don't think you can say anything about Allen on that one. I also view Allen as a 58% comp QB this season
  14. Zay screwed the pooch on that play. He took his eye off the ball before he secured it. Not a pinpoint accuracy pass but damn good enough for an NFL WR IMO
  15. Hopefully its on, but past experiences usually meant its listed but you get the message. "Sorry this program is not available in your area" when the game starts. I've been down that road before. Fingers crossed
  16. Bills App yes as long as your in area. If you are out of area you will be blocked
  17. My last trip to Canada... Sabres Game in Vancouver. Day before game. Yes I'm wearing a Sabres hat. Walking back from a Tavern. 2 dudes step out light up a J. I walk by ask if I could get a hit, and they told me run along and catch back up with my wife and basically telling me to get the ***** out of their faces. I was taken back by this because I always thought Canadians were really nice people. I mean if I sparked a Doob and a few passer bys asked I wouldn't hesitate to share. Even if it was Canadians sporting another teams emblem.. That still bugs me... still can't comprehend that nastiness I received. I do but I will have to check on that channel.. I have Sunday ticket but I do not have a sports package DirecTV just says there is a recast showing at 11 pm to 2 am Colts @ Bills Indianapolis Colts at Buffalo ... NEW! Record Episode Record Series Edit Channel: 212 NFLHD Showing: Tomorrow, 8/9, 11:00 - 2:00 AM PT Receiver(s): LIVING RM
  18. I thought I read only streamed to local markets for this game. In other words if you can see it on regular TV you can stream it... AM I wrong on this ? Definitely an option. I just hate putting in a CC Thanks for the replies I will try some of the suggested options..
  19. Minus paying $99 for NFL gamepass. I'd pay $40 or $50 but $99 seems steep for what we really get back. I have The Sunday ticket but I will be damned before I spend another $99 just to watch 4 Bills Preseason games with Gamepass Yes I am out of market trying to watch as much Bills preseason as I can. SO am I missing any obvious streaming options that come in less than $99
  20. Glad to have them all here. I'm not going to get involved into a tank measuring contest.
  21. Allen and Allen and then sprinkle in some Allen. The QB position is pretty much the 1 position that must be solidified and built upon and carries the majority of weight in regards to taking it to the next level as a franchise But of course I will take delight in reviewing all the positions and seeing who really shined and what not like the rest of you
  22. Preseason is nice cause crowds are less intense and its a good toe dipper experience... IMO Plus he is going to be more distracted with everything going on around him for his 1st experience.... where you are going to be dialed in hard at a regular season game. A preseason game gives you more focus time on your son. You can walk around check out the concessions souvenirs and the stadium from different areas and not need to stay in your seat to watch the entire game as intensely as you would a regular season match up
  23. I'm guessing 2 yards, but they're really really long yards, like a 2100 feet a piece
  24. I will give you a couple of warm up guesses, but its pretty obvious
