  1. While he ran hard, ML was slow. I was at a Bills game two years ago, when a BAL defensive lineman caught him from behind! ML does not have the kind of speed you need to be a stud running back, IMO.
  2. Wait just a second. I can think of one "dumb jock good ol' boy southerner" who has done pretty well for himself - Brett Farve. Just because someone is from the south doesn't make them an idiot. And there's Bradshaw too from Louisiana. Let's see, Trent went to Stanford, Jauron to Yale, but let's not go there.
  3. Cannot be any worse that what they are already doing!!
  4. You're hired!
  5. YES, he jacked that dude up! He does that every week. I don't know of anyone that intense for that long. Truly a unique player. Ravens are a different team when he is not in.
  6. About the only good thing to say about yesterday was we came out of the game without putting someone else on IR. Losing Poz is bad, but almost expected from him, unfortunately. Also, go back and look at the games last year when Freddy was the only back. We actually had some offense. I say put Freddy as the feature back, use CJ for special formations, etc and use Thugshawn as the guy to put in there when you need two tough yards. Maybe CJ can be the guy next year. Right now I think Freddy is best suited for the supporting cast we have (ie he knows how to operate behind no OL) Just my 2 cents.
  7. Yeah - he is my new second favorite Bill. Fast Freddy is still first.
  8. anything but another CB or Safety would be fine with me.
  9. Unreal - I have never been so pissed at the outcome of a game. No doubt in my mind the officials blew that call. Granted, "stay in your lanes" should have happened to, but to give them that game made me forever hate the Thumbtacks...
  10. Thank you. I was about to say the same thing.
  11. Do we have to go through this again? Just pick a game..every game is worse than the last.
  12. I have posted this here before and some scoffed which is fine, but my college roommate at Catawba was the tight ends coach, Charlie Coiner. If/when he ever leaves the Bills, I might have a lot to say on this board but for obvious reasons will not at this time. He was and I guess still is pretty tight with Alex from the year when Alex was offensive quaility control. Actually I have not talked to him since Turk left. I try not to call during the season, he's too busy to call back anyway. But I guarantee after the season, I am going to make him give me a play by play of what has happened this year. I have not made it up to BUF for a game this year, but did take in the Carolna game which was a blast. I promise if Charlie ever leaves the Bills, I will give you some good stories.
  13. In 2002 versus the Bears. Overtime win as Travis Henry took a screen from Bledsoe and took it in from 20 yds out. Fine day indeed. Coach of the Bears at the time: Jauron!
  14. ...
  15. I think you nailed it dawgg. great post.
  16. At least they are not gullible enough to say "I believe".
  17. I tell you one thing I just noticed. That Fitz is the spittin image of Woody Harrelson!
  18. Too obvious....
  19. I only had to travel 75 miles but it was awesome. LOTS of Bills fans, who kept hi-fiving my wife who was on the aisle. Wish we had more offense, but a win is a win
  20. Good point. I think in general, folks down here are just not as passionate about pro football as other parts of the country. North Carolina in particular is crazy about college sports, especially basketball. Oh yeah, and Nascar is way bigger than the NFL, but I have no clue why. My buddy tried to explain it and I still don't get it.
  21. They are used to it now. No crying...except to get rid of Delhomme. For those of you that wanted Fox, yesterday he kicked when he should have gone for it, and went for it when he should have kicked it. And it's amazing to me that Williams only got 4 carries in the second half. Fox can read stats as well as we can - therefore should have been smart enough to just run the ball, especially with Jake's history.
  22. I was there and there were TONS of Bills fans at the game. I was really pleasantly surprised.
  23. I don't know about you, but Whitner can take off the rest of the season or his life. I'll take Wilson and Byrd anytime. Amazing how many Bills fans were in attendance. I've said it before, the Panthers fans have no emotion next to rabid fan bases like the Bills and the Steelers. It seemed like Poz and McGee where in on every play. Fitzpatrick did not impress me that much but has better pocket presence than Trent. Also liked the shots downfield even though many were not on the mark. Fred needs to run the ball more. Lynch just loves to dance. He was even dancing during timeouts. We will never get anywhere if we can't get our running game going. Jenkins is a stud on special teams. I thought the OLine over all did a pretty good job. Not too many penalties today which was nice to see. GO BILLS!
  24. Still working on getting tickets, but planning on being there. They usually have a good game-day thing if you have kids. It's like the Bills one but it's outside on the practice fields just north of the stadium. Sounds like the weather will be nice. GO bills!
  25. Ross Tucker Good piece from Ross Tucker as usual about the same type thing.
