this was my go-to opening line in every paper i wrote for english class from grades 7-12. i know i mentioned this last week, but i think there needs to be more pizza-related commentary. that photo of you debating between the slice of pizza and the football cracks me up. i'm flying back to the falls on saturday for my annual return home. usually i get goodfellas. aside from la hacienda, where do you think i should satisfy my pizza/wings fix?

for the same reason that most of us do: we have some illogical emotional connection to a team that has disappointed us for years. there's no reasonable reason why anyone would love or feel invested in this team (especially since they've provided nothing but heartbreak since before most of us were born). yet, here we are.

no offense, dude, but it sounds like you're pretty unhappy here yourself. if you're that bored and miserable by the lack of analysis and discussion, then perhaps you should consider going elsewhere as well. of course this board will skew negative -- the team we all love has sucked for over a decade. of course people are going to lose it when the bills get decimated at home by the biggest jerks in the league. of course fans are going to overreact and claim they're "done" with the team after yet another unsuccessful campaign. and of course, most of them will be right back onboard a few months after the final game, as the flowers start to bloom and the draft arrives. hope springs eternal. that's the cycle of the buffalo fan. we're all emotion. why waste time worrying about how other fans react?

dude, the bills gave up 52 points. i'm not saying that fitz is joe montana jr., but the problems with this team go much deeper.

i'd be with you if not for the fact that we've already lost to two of those teams. if we lose to the dolphins, it's time to start jumping out of windows.
