    totally agree. i was hopeful the bills would abandon "shout" 15 years ago when ralph tried to replace it (because he was too cheap to pay for the rights to play it). the replacement song involved shouting and loving the bills and sucked just as bad. maybe pegula will hire the goo goo dolls, moe, ani difranco and brian mcknight to pen something awesome.

    the only reason i'm concerned about pepper's future is because i liked having someone on the staff named "pepper." i make no apologies for that. i would feel the same way if rex fired a coach named "booger" or "johnny two-times."

    that made me laugh too. marrone was an idiot about most things, but he was right about removing ralph's embedded peeps. that secretary seemed nice but the rest of the wilson-era dead weight still needs to go.

    i think thurm is pretty impressionable. when i've heard thurm on murph's show, he basically reiterates what john (or the callers) says right back to him. considering that thurm's coaching epiphany came right after rex's welcome party, rex probably said something along the lines of, "thurman, you should get into coaching someday" and thurman took that to mean today.
