Best Way To Watch NFL Network For One Game ?????????????
Albany,n.y. replied to ExiledInIllinois's topic in The Stadium Wall
No part of LI is 3 hours away from MetLife. Even Montauk, the very east end of LI is a tick under 3 hours. When I lived in Nassau County I could get to MetLife in less than hour on a Sunday morning & when I lived in Suffolk County it was about 1 -1.5 hours. I live in the suburbs of Albany & I'm not even 3 hours away from MetLife. -
Josh Allen Cash App - Stocks for Blocks!

Is this an admission that the only guys on the O-line who can block are Morse & Dawkins? -
Best Way To Watch NFL Network For One Game ?????????????
Albany,n.y. replied to ExiledInIllinois's topic in The Stadium Wall
I did the 7 day trial with the intention of keeping it on the Thursday night game, but I couldn't take the fact that I had to watch it on my cellphone inches from my face. It was not compatible with a Fire notepad. Also I missed the 1st series where the Patriots had the ball & I missed the final minute when I moved the phone & lost the signal. I don't need local broadcasts to view on a 5" screen instead of my 50" TV (If I'm not home I'm not going to be rude & pull out a cellphone to watch a game when I'm with other people not watching a game) and since I have the SiriusXM computer & app I can listen to all NFL games. For what amounts to the ability to watch the Thursday night games on a tiny screen, I decided to drop it as soon as the Thursday night game ended. -
What was the furthest you traveled to see the Bills play?
Albany,n.y. replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Albany to LA twice. Once for Super bowl XXVII in Pasadena and the other 11/19/17 in the infamous Nathan Peterman game in the Stub Hub stadium. Both were blowouts against the Bills. -

Just go to a bar or restaurant that has the game. If you can tolerate a small picture on a phone or notepad you can sign up for NFL + with a 7 day free trial & cancel after the game. -
Players get old. When Jim Kelly was Flacco's age he was retired.

50 years ago today, the final game at The Rockpile
Albany,n.y. replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
I've been to 281 NFL games including 264 Bills games. I have 2 big regrets as a football fan. 1) I never went to a Bills game at the Rockpile (I once went to a Bisons game there in the early 1980s). I was in Fredonia the final 2 seasons of the Rockpile. The reason was I had heard how bad the area was & was afraid my new car wouldn't make it out alive. In 1978 I worked the Erie County reval and spent about a month working in the neighborhood and saw how stupid my fears were. 2) I lived only about 50-60 miles from the Meadowlands in 1985 and didn't go to the final USFL game. I just didn't want to drive to NJ on a rainy day & have always regretted not going to that historic final USFL championship game. -
Lovie is the only one hired by his team who was over 60 at the time he was named HC. None of the others compare with a 64 year old whose last HC job was when he was in his early 50s. It's not like they'd be bringing back a guy like Bill Cowher. As far as the other notable coaches, here are their ages when each was hired by his team: Carroll 58 going on 59; Belichick 48; Reid 55; Harbaugh 45 going on 46; McCarthy 56 going on 57.

Tua leads all players in pro Bowl Voting. This can't stand.
Albany,n.y. replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
Why waste a vote on Josh-he will be ineligible to play in the Pro Bowl. Voters want their votes to count. -
I had a good Thanksgiving week, two family dinners on 2 different days, Warriors & 49ers games. Then I got home & I'm Covid positive.

Remember those Gatorade Be Like Mike ads with people dreaming of being like Michael Jordan? Well Baker has chosen 17 as his number with the Rams. Mayfield must be thinking: "Like Josh, If I could be like Josh"
-
Baker probably wanted to go there but he's now singing "I Love L.A."
-
Why are you surprised? They couldn't get him. The trade deadline is passed & they were way below the Rams on the waiver list.
-
If you go back & look at the members of the media who trashed the Bills for taking Allen, almost all of them were those who had Rosen as the top QB of the draft. They sounded offended that the Bills had the gall to think they knew more than these media "experts" .
-
4th time with the 49ers.

How exactly did the Browns do him dirty? He was mediocre & they upgraded. If anything it's all on Mayfield. When the Browns got Watson, a smart player would have realized that Watson was getting suspended & his best opportunity would be to win the starting job in an offense he already knows, perform well enough to boost his market value & be a good soldier playing at least half the season. Instead Baker immediately went into child mode & demanded to be traded. Now when he loses his starting job he asks for his release. Baker was & is the problem all along. Your post is similar to the ones who claim the Bills did EJ & JP dirty when in reality these guys didn't have the talent to start in the NFL. It seems that to some of you, it's always the team's fault, never the mediocre to bad QBs fault. Until a team has the franchise QB, their current QB is always eligible to be replaced. That's the reality of the NFL. Baker, EJ, JP and the rest weren't good enough. Nobody but themselves did these players wrong.

The Bills won last night because... (karma reasons only)
Albany,n.y. replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall
I endured watching the game on a 3" screen inches from my face & never threw the phone. For the record I signed up for the NFL+ 7 day trial with the full intention of subscribing, but the experience was so bad I immediately cancelled after the game. -
No more pressure to win than the opponent. Now imagine if Detroit ever gets in the pressure of being in their 1st Super Bowl in the history of the game would be an enormous weight on their shoulders-NOT. The players are thinking about the game they're playing in, not about how long it's been that the team hasn't been in the Super Bowl, which for just about everyone is throughout their lifetimes.

I think it's clear that Zach Wilson is a bust
Albany,n.y. replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
Considering that Darnold got 3 years, I think they'll give Zach Wilson one more season after this one, but I wouldn't be surprised if they signed a veteran who has starting experience to replace Flacco.
