Matt Araiza accused of rape, served with a lawsuit.
Andy1 replied to bill8164's topic in Off the Wall
No bojo. He was holding for Green Bay kicker last year. That’s why Crosby had a down year. I think Matt will be looking for work tomorrow and we will be looking for a punter. -

Are the police still investigating? What is taking so long? This is not a complicated case. Either charge him or not. I don’t blame the girls family for being frustrated with lack of action. -
So he had 25 Top Secret docs including those about national defense. Who knows who was going in and out of the rooms where they were held. Refusal to return all documents when requested, etc. There is no justifiable reason for him to have this information. I’m sure intelligence agencies are working trying to identify any leaks to contain the damage.

Until this gets resolved, I don’t want to see this guy in a Bills uniform. Wearing that uni is a privilege and represents our community. He should be suspended or maybe he can pull a hammy in practice and go on IR. -

He is 21, she was 17. That is a problem and a crime. -

Ugh! DNA will tell the story. -
Neither Trump nor his supporters have offered a rational reason for why he would possess the classified docs and why he would refuse to return the requested docs. Some have suggested he kept them for his memoirs. Which suggests he would publish the information which is the opposite of a defense. The blanket declassification excuse is bogus. Everyone is speculating why he is innocent or guilty with the limited knowledge we have. Michael Cohen knows Trump better than anyone. His speculation is Trump took and kept the classified documents as a weapon to blackmail the government if DOJ ever prosecuted him for other stuff. He would have no problem threatening to or releasing the information, sacrificing the security of the nation, to save his own skin. It’s all speculation now. Hopefully we learn the truth eventually.

I wouldn’t say that. I’d rather my tax dollars go to help young Americans start their life than send it to Iraq or Afghanistan, or have it sent to help oil companies, Wall Street, etc. Both parties spend money on priorities of their supporters. That’s politics in America. The problem is, someday, someone is going to need to pay the bill and both parties seem to be in denial of that. If I was king, government wouldn’t spend money on any of it. That would surely start a revolution though and I’d get overthrown.

I’m generally not crazy about the loan forgiveness but, in the big picture government money has gone to worse things and no one blinks an eye. For 20 years congress spent trillions on a pile of sand in Afghanistan and Iraq. Billions go to corporate welfare, corporate bailouts and tax breaks for millionaires but that ok because they are the “important people.” At least this money is helping young Americans who need it.

You bring up some good examples of threats from the left. Certainly, there are issues on both sides to some extent. In my opinion, it’s all wrong and should be condemned whoever does it, right or left. However, the difference that I see is the use of guns and assault weapons in political advertising for many republicans. This is planned, scripted use of threatening weapons, suggesting their use for political purposes. Look at the ads in the link I posted above. If you know of such advertisements from dems, let me know. It I haven’t seen them. Today, in Buff News they have story of Palladino saying that Merick Garland should be executed. Now, he did walk it back later and people on both sides have spoken with emotion before thinking. In my opinion, planned advertising is worse since it is scripted and designed to motivate and generate a response. Some day, some nut job is going to take the hint and try to become famous. I don’t think that is the political world we want to live in.

The witnesses at J6 are not left wingers. They are all republicans who worked in Trumps administration. The FBI and other law enforcement are generally not left wingers. Election workers are not necessarily left wingers. Why would a CEO for Dominion be a left winger? Is everyone who speaks against Trump a left winger? FYI -There are plenty of life long conservative republicans who do not support the guy.

Global warming err Climate change HOAX
Andy1 replied to Very wide right's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
So what’s the worst that happens if after 50 years of climate adaption technology and policies we find out it was all for naught? Oh, our children and grand children get cleaner air, more efficient vehicles, cleaner energy and more efficient buildings. The horror! Earth is the only place we got to live for all of our future generations. Personally, I want my grandkids grandkids to have a place to live. -

Those are college students doing role playing. They are not actual IRS agents.
