Not only bounces. Refs can determine a season. If they don't pick up that flag in NE or if they don't throw that flag in KC, the season could have been entirely different. And both were borderline calls.

I love how the OP wrote that whole thing just to have an excuse to predict his favorite team winning the SB again on the message board of another team.

I have been the Flutie Flakes for years
-
Because they just want to come in here and post their record prediction that they have been posting in every other thread and leave.
-
How dare you write a post on TBD giving credit to Beane and/or McDermott! That's simply not allowed here and thankfully the TBD Sherrif's department has come to the rescue.

My wild theory. I think Mac Jones could run that Shannahan offense as well as Purdy and Tua.

Why Your Team Sucks 2024 -- Da Bills
Low Positive replied to TheCockSportif's topic in The Stadium Wall
Drew Magary used to write these on Deadspin. Now he does not. That it all. -
How many TEs do they need?

We're not unique. Here is a thread on Jungle Noise about the same topic. They are worried about 3rd RBs and end of the rotation DEs. https://thebengalsboard.com/thread-38887.html

No Bills claimed on waivers. Time to calm down?

I think that we're all too involved in parts of the game that fans didn't used to pay attention to. The combine is televised and mock drafts are a thing. People have strong reactions to 7th round picks. Then we get a lot more access via social media to training camp practices. So we form strong opinions about players when we don't really have the full information. Then, when we start sharing those opinions on social media and message boards, two things happen. First of all, a sort of groupthink sets in where those opinions become narratives and then facts. Secondly, the Internet doesn't allow people to change their hot takes because everyone has "receipts." Long story short, no one stressed about end of the roster cuts in the 90's because we had no idea who these guys were. Now we have enough info to form opinions but not enough to form informed opinions. -
Beane drafts more on physical traits than college production. Sometimes that works out and he finds value and sometimes it doesn't.
-
Carolina claimed three CBs and yet didn't claim Hardy. Perhaps we were overvaluing his performance as a CB in preseason games?
-
You’re splitting hairs. Of course he’s not good. If he was, he’d be starting for the Raiders.
-
For people saying that we’re overreacting to cuts to the end of the roster, nobody is upset about that. We were just hoping against hope that the regime had a plan at WR and now that we know that they are rolling with Shakir, rookie Coleman, and a bunch of JAGs we’re just lashing out.
-
And none of that matters. What does matter is the lack of talent at key impact positions like WR and pass rush. Beane traded Diggs and let Gabe walk and replaced them with JAGs. There was no Floyd move on defense. I just don’t get doing a cap reset in the middle of a QB’s prime years.
-
Also, people hate McDermott so they want to pin all bad decisions on him.
-
They traded for a returner today
-
Beane made this bed, now he (and all of us) have got to lie in it.
-
So Dion Cain, who the BIlls signed exactly two weeks ago as a camp replacement, has actually made the team. Fantastic.

Sorry. I'm just angry that we will have to watch this all year. -

5 seasons, 5 teams, 9 catches for 124 yards. Yeah, that'll fix everything.
