I respect your opinion but suck is a strong word for me to describe Brown's play. You may dislike him for the current system, and I do agree to certain extent, but I believe Brown is a player versatile enough to help you win games.

The main reason the Saints ran all over us was the absence of Dareus. When the guys up front are manhandled at the LOS no LB will look good. Both the Jets and the Saints ran all over us until we somewhat adjusted, which was remarkable, I must say.

I think Keenum is having a good career so far, getting better with each an everry game. Unlike Bradford, the arrow is pointing up, obviously, things could change for the worse but I think if he can avoid dumb plays like the int he threw against the Saints, that got them back into the game, he can be a succesful starter in this league. If we get Bradford, we need to improve the pass protection, he won't survive the month of September with Mills at RT.

If he's available for a trade, we would be stupid not to ask what they want or be interested.

I like Preston Brown, he's not the most athletic guy but he has started almost every game as a pro (62/64), since his rookie years he has been calling the defensive plays, he's a good form tackler, he's around the ball, and a good presence in the locker room, plus he's just 25 years old. I think he would be good for another contract, of maybe four years. Would I prefer someone like Lucke Kuechly? sure, but we won't find him in FA. We should try to find that one via draft.

Shame with this guy. The guy is very talented and we made every accomodation for him to be succesul on the field (sans Rex Ryan) and off the field (money). I would have liked that he embraced the process but it was not meant to be. I still hate the compensation we got for him, though is better than nothing. Let it go, MD, be happy.

I read there's some Wiliams & Mary connection, but when I googled them, McD was there in 1998, whereas, Daboll was there in 1997. In 1998 Daboll took a job at Michigan State. Am I missing something?

On the surface is difficult to write something overly optimistic about Brian Daboll. I like that he's young and as some people said, innovative, we just have to be hopeful he has learned a lot since his first stint as the OC in Cleveland (back in 2009) I'll trust the process, in fact, I'll bask in it until there's something more concrete to analize regarding Brian Daboll.

I guess he doesn't lack confidence, good for him. Now he has to back it up against Brady. We will be rooting for you, big mouth.
