    Fantastic news, we keep a good player at a very friendly number and the Jets have to keep looking to upgrade their OL, which isn't very easy to do.

    I know every player looks great in their highlights videos, but this kid looks impressive in his. He just comes down with the ball in those 50/50 passes and that is somewhat what Allen needs. Great work Gunner.

    that's how I read it as well. They weren't looking for scapegoats on offense, they were implying more help is needed (and development from Allen)
