  1. The guy is huge, he looks like an extra OL. I will focus on him when I re-watch the game.
  2. And I believe more parity too.
  3. TO is a chemistry killer. He's a cancer and we don't need himt.
  4. You have to start somewhere, we have the best of both worlds, winning while still learning the kinks of the defense.
  5. It happens every game, the other team makes plays too, doesn't mean you're being exposed or dominated as Captain implied in his initial post. I never felt that was the case in this game or the year for that matter. The OL won and lost some battles up front, but for the most part Fitz had time to throw and Fredie averaged 3.9 YPC, sometimes, as you said, the right defensive call makes you think you failed at some aspect of the game. Perception is everything sometimes. I feel the players were deflated in this game after an emotional win last week. Fitz was off today and at times, he seemed to force the ball to Jones a little too much. On days like this, where the offense is struggling, his go to guy should be Stevie, who had a quiet game.
  6. Evem Spiller was able to convert on 3rd and 1. The OL had a good game, not spectacular but it did a fine job. Fitz was off target today and the offense couldn't find its rythm.
  7. Yes, he is this bad. In his third year he can't overcome a banged up OL. He needs Pro-bowlers up front and a great running gamge to be effective.
  8. Jets at Baltimore, watching right now Maybin sucks at changing directions, his speed is only linear Sanchez, you should know where Ed Reed is on every snap
  9. I love to know that the team will get the ball at the start of the 3rd QTR. If you're behind, it's the drive you need to keep it close, if you're ahead, a good drive can kill the opposition. Always defer.
  10. Fitz on the Dan Patrick show a few days back, good interview, IMO: http://www.danpatrick.com/2011/09/26/ryan-fitzpatrick-said-bills-knew-they-could-come-from-behind-against-patriots/
  11. Exhibit B: Nate Clements against the Jags in the 2004 season opener. Going for the INT instead of batting down a 4th down pass. Classic Nate, playing for himself, hope we see the same from him this Sunday.
  12. Every move Fat Rex makes is the GOAT.
  13. "Bledsoe was a very good player for the Patriots, to be sure. But even in Buffalo, the staff tired of him taking such strong control of the offense -- and other things. The Bills let Bledsoe walk after some big losses in his third year with the team, 2004. None bigger than the last one, a loss to Pittsburgh on a windy day in Buffalo. Winds were whipping up pretty strong that day, and before he walked out to midfield for the flip, Bledsoe was advised by coaches to choose to defend the east goal if Pittsburgh won the toss and elected to receive. (Though the official play-by-play listed the wind as coming from the south that day, Buffalo coaches felt it was an easterly wind.) That way, the Steelers wouldn't be wind-aided when they took the ball. Pittsburgh won the toss. Pittsburgh elected to receive. Bledsoe said Buffalo would defend the west goal. West? Bledsoe explained that when he got to midfield, it seemed to him the wind was whipping around differently than the way the coaches thought, and so he picked the opposite goal to defend. Bledsoe had a seesaw 16-of-30 day and Pittsburgh won 29-24. Bledsoe never played again for Buffalo. Bledsoe is very smart, but on a few occasions, thinking differently than his coaches hurt his employment career. And it affected the balance of power for years in the AFC East." Never liked Drew Bledsoe, never feared him as an opposing QB and I always thought he was a big baby. I always believed his ego got in the way of him being a better QB. A legend in his own mind. Waste of a 1st round pick and he even got a parade.
  14. Deep Voice where art thou...................
  15. The Seahawks haven’t gotten the kind of play they expected when they made Aaron Curry the fourth overall pick of the 2009 NFL Draft so they are giving someone else a chance. Curry has been demoted to the second team and rookie K.J. Wright will take his place as a starting outside linebacker. Curry has been a starter since arriving in Seattle after a decorated career at Wake Forest, but he has never been particularly impressive at the professional level. In 32 career games, Curry has recorded 123 tackles and 5.5 sacks. He had his only NFL interception in last season’s playoff loss to the Bears. Eric Williams of the Tacoma News-Tribune got Curry’s thoughts on the move. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/09/22/aaron-curry-is-headed-to-the-bench/
  16. If I'm not mistaken it works for any browser.
  17. was she wearing a goalie mask in the act?
  18. Scott is horrendous.
  19. Happy birthday Mark
  20. This was a very playoff game like called game by the refs or so it seemed. They overlooked penalties on both sides.
