  1. Tell the thruth, #34 is Sammy Morris right? Or former Phin Ricky Williams?
  2. I like Spencer Havner, but I don't know how healthy he is.
  3. My post are nothing special, but they are "(I)MHO" I always liked: "What type of car do you drive" Skooby style.
  4. With rookies, you hope that they belong in the field first. Hairston looked comfortable at both positions, he was not forcing the issue. Watch the kid and then look at the other side, look how Cordaro Howard is trying so hard to contain his man, his lack of natural talent shows how hard it is for him. I believe Howard should be moved inside and be the swing guard in case of an injury disaster.
  5. That's my reason as well, on merit alone Heard should make the roster instead of him, but he was their 7 round project and they will continue to teach him. I don't know the extend of Heard's injury but missing the Jags game didn't help his chances.
  6. QB: Ryan Fitzpatrick, Tyler Thigpen, Brad Smith (3) RB: Fred Jackson, CJ Spiller, J. White (3) FB: Corey McIntyre (1) WR: Steve Johnson, Roscoe Parrish, David Nelson, Donald Jones, Marcus Easley, Naaman Roosevelt (6) TE: Scott Chandler, Mike Caussin (2) OT: Demetrius Bell, Erik Pears, Chris Hairston (3) OC: Eric Wood, George Hangartner (2) OG: Andy Levitre, Kraig Urbik, Chad Rinehart, Cordaro Howard (4) DE: Marcell Dareus, Dwan Edwards, Alex Carrington, Spencer Johnson (4) NT: Kyle Williams, Torrel Troup, Michael Jasper (3) OLB: Shawne Merriman, Chris Kelsay, Danny Batten, Antonio Coleman, Arthur Moats (5) ILB: Andra Davis, Nick Barnett, Kelvin Sheppard, Kirk Morrison, Chris White (5) CB: Drayton Florence, Terrence McGee, Leodis McKelvin, Aaron Williams, Reggie Corner(5) S: George Wilson, Jairus Byrd, Da'Norris Searcy, Brian Scott (4) ST: Brian Moorman, Ryan Lindell, Garrison Sanborn (3)
  7. Wood is very inconsistent. He has everything (tools) to be great but sometimes he doesn't play as dominant as he should. I hope I don't get in trouble by pointing this out being Wood one of the untouchables (player that can't be critized no matter what)
  8. No matter how familiar Gailey is with Thigpen, I wouldn't consider releasing him a monumental mistake, he's really struggling and as of now, Brown represents the guy with the better chance to develop into a solid back-up.
  9. I also believe they'll carry only two TEs, but I have Chandler and Coussins as the names to keep. Pianalto to the PS, Martin & Nelson cut. Donald Jones makes this team without a doubt.
  10. Am I the only one that thinks Thigpen is somewhat overrated? I know he has experince in games that count and he's new with this team, but he doesn't seem to be the reliable guy some people think he is. Would it be such a monumental mistake to keep Brown instead of him? We're screwed either way if Fitz goes down (as many teams in the league)
  11. The unis look sweet, cool as ice-cream.
  12. Maybe Nix is stupid for not re-signing Winfield..........
  13. I find it funny that during the lockout we couldn't compare the work the players do with the job the regular joe does. Is it now correct to make such comparisons? Fred should deal with this with Chan and Nix, not on public, not on twitter or with Sal Mayonesa.
  14. What Jackson needs to undertand is that players need to practice in game like conditions. Jackson a couple of years back was awful in pass pro, he got better as he kept getting playing time. Spiller is at the same juncture as Fred was. If he feels disrespected he doesn't understand this is also a business and 1st rounders will get more playing time or chances than other players. It's odd to see Fred act like this, he just should have dealt this in house.
  15. I love Jackson but he's wrong for going in public about it. What's the point of going to a reporter and tellings his feeling are hurt, no matter how right he is? This sends the message that he might not be team player (don't believe that's the case), he thinks Spiller is a bad player or tammante and he undermines his own coach. He should have pulled his HC aside after practice and ask for an explanation of his situation.
  16. hahaha
  17. I really like the unis. The white helmet rocks and the mullet doesn't bother me, I believe it's pretty unique, if you ask me. Not crazy about the sock's stripes though. Can't wait to see the blue jerseys on gameday.
  18. He can't get on the field and when he does he has trouble showing his skills. Those migraines suck but I believe they're a thing form the past, I believe he has a leg injury or something. I'm watining to see if that added weight really helped him. I really don't like Martin but if he doens't suit up he won't be able to really compete for a roster spot.
  19. Excellent post Yoho.
  20. Merriman combines speed and power, he got into the OT's pads and drove him into the QB, that was nice to see. Wrotto was dreadful, matadors in Spain are watching film on him as we speak.... Howard should move back inside, his natural position is at OG. Fitz and the WRs will be alright with more reps, nice to see Chandler involved in the passing game. I saw Martin and Causssin on the field but I didn't noticed Nelson. Martin, as usual, whiffed badly on his guy trying to seal the edge, hopefully Chandler is better at the POA. Never liked the wildcat and I wasn't convinced we made a good move signing Brad Smith. Doc is onto something with the Wild Bill name though, that sounds good. If Brad Smith can get first downs running that formation I won't complain. Thigpen and Brown were erratic, tough to look good behind a very suspect line. Hopefully they pick up their games. Dareus, monster. Andra Davis showed why he should be the starter until Moats or Sheppard can take his spot, I like his physicallity, Barnett should compliemnt him well at the other ILB position. Jasper needs to learn how to use his hands, he pushed his guy almost every time but he had trouble disengaging. Heard looked more polished than him.
  21. You're the beard. Thanks.
  22. That's a very good observation NoSaint, which reminds me how smart was for Gailey to instruct his WRs to learn every position on offense.
  23. the guy with big bones?
  24. Lee Evans can hurt you the most with speed and good hands, leave him alone with only a CB, a QB with time and he will score more often than not, given that not many teams have a great CBs (like the jets have with REvis) the DC will always do the smart thing, roll the coverage to the guy that will hurt you the most in the quickest fashion available (da' bomb) Evans legs might diminish but he will always be one of the fastest guys on the field, so I don't see the team getting better without him. The only guy I can see taking his place and job, is the unproven, often injured Marcus Easley. Jones, Nelson, Roosevelt and Parrish are more underneath route runners. BTW Kelly, the fair and balanced one, good research.
  25. Merriman update Posted by Chris Brown on August 6, 2011 – 8:41 pm Shawne Merriman was held out of practice for a second straight day. Head coach Chan Gailey said he’s dealing with residual soreness. Gailey said Merriman’s soreness is in his legs, but says it’s not related to his Achilles problems. http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2011/08/06/merriman-update-4/
