Not surprised. She was never a good fit ideologically for NBC. Not that she's a hard and far righty, but she is too much an independent thinker to survive in that hard left pool. Love her or hate her (I thought she had a decent show at Fox albeit she got a little full of herself at times), she'll be better off somewhere else. NBC not adjusting the shade of their stripes any time soon.

Undoubtedly all her years working with the Clinton Foundation have prepared her well. -

Ratings not what you're hoping for Jeff? You are certainly waging war on this white house and it's your war to lose and you are losing. You might try more objective reporting. You don't have to admit surrender, just make some adjustments that will benefit your business. -
The people marching to the boarder ???

I have a close friend who has made 4 documentary movies about illegal immigration. During filming at the border (in Arizona I believe) he picked up a green beret hat he found in the dirt. It has arabic writing inside of it. He still has the hat. Also during filming he shot some footage of about a dozen men that entered the country and got arrested. While being held by border patrol at the side of the road he learns there are at least 2 middle eastern men and embedded in these 12 or so Mexican or central american men. That he confirmed with the agents on the scene. So, was he just lucky in his few days of filming at the border to encounter these circumstances or is it more common than is reported? -
The pension deficits in both Chicago and the state of Illinois are quite real and becoming desperate. We elected a Republican Governor here in Illinois and he's been stifled by by the Democrat speaker of of the state house in any effort to reduce state spending or revise the pension plans on a going forward basis. Instead the dems over-rode the governor and raised taxes (because of course we have to continue state spending increases) and we are about to elect a new dem governor who is running on taxing high income earners more. Buy votes with other people's money. Oldest trick in politics.

Report: Bills have discussed trading KB
keepthefaith replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He is a skinny tight end that doesn't block or catch very well. Except that he is a free agent after this season and he'll likely be signed by another team not as familiar with his shortcomings as the Bills. The off-season, the season of optimism, is when players like KB get signed for more than they are worth. -

Right now it will be whatever Trump feels is the best political response. That might mean processing them through and assigning them their way into the future court dates. Trump can then highlight this as a ridiculous situation and ask people to vote R if you want it fixed. -

Would Vegas set odds for a right vs left civil war? 100-1 with the right as the favorite? I suppose it would matter greatly who is in the white house at the time. -
Oh my I just spent the last 30 minutes watching CNN because, well, I haven't done that in a while. They are making a business out of bashing the ***** out of Trump on every level, the content most of which is pure delusion, diversion, completely unimportant or a combination of the three. A total bashfest. Makes you feel bad for anyone who gets most of their news from there or anyone in airports.

I don't see a huge margin of victory for the Pats in this game. I think Belichick knows this Bills team has no offense and that only a Minnesota-like effort from the Bills defense can keep it close. Playing it conservative on offense by Pats will limit the Bills' defense chances for the big plays. With that said I think the Pats deploy plenty of running and a lot of quick high percentage throws by Brady and they get about 30 points. The Bills will probably rise to the (home against a division foe on Monday night after a horrible loss and another week with the new (old) QB) occasion and get 16. 30-16 Pats.

It doesn't take much effort to default to demonizing the other side when your platform and ideology is bankrupt of effective and prudent policy positions. -

Seems like the Stormy case isn't bearing as much fruit as expected. -
Peterman has earned his spot. It's hard to argue that he didn't earn the starting spot coming out of training camp and pre-season. He was the best of the 3 QB's. He also earned his spot on the bench during the opener and the team signed a veteran player to replace him as the backup. Seems to me like the coach has him right where he deserves to be and if Allen were healthy and Anderson was playing well enough to hold down the backup role, Nate would probably be cut or at least inactive.

I was very wrong about Tyrod & have to own it.
keepthefaith replied to twoandfourteen's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills are in full-blown rebuilding mode. This is what that looks like. Tyrod wouldn't have a winning record with this team this year. The Bills were very fortunate last year to win 9 games, over achieved. The roster will look very different 1 and 2 years from now. -

Yeah we swam nude too. Was that a Buffalo thing? I've told many friends not from Buffalo about that and they all think it's pretty ridick-ulous. Nobody I know not from Buffalo did that. -
Agree and I'm a little dumbfounded by how much air time this story is getting. He was a Saudi citizen, not an American right? This really falls under the "we have bigger fish to fry" category IMO. It's really none of our business unless we suddenly want to adjudicate every murder that happens on the globe. We have more meaningful and egregious murders happening here every day. Meanwhile $22T in debt and entitlement costs exploding - nobody is talking about that.

So when the migrants are interviewed at the border they can tell our agents that they're tired of the heat and hope to get to Buffalo for the winter? -

I really enjoy high school basketball. You probably see a lot of great games and some really talented kids. Off topic but I saw a high school game here several years ago that featured Ryan Boatright, Frank Kaminsky, Ben Sobolewski and Bobby Wehrli all in one game - all pro and/or D1 players. It was quite a show.
