The Fed (given our enormous debt) will be committed very long term to very low interest rates IMO. A rise in rates will cause the expense to service the debt to skyrocket so I would expect rates to stay very low and for that lever to be one of the last that any future fed chairman/woman will push and if pushed it'll be a nudge. .

Obama never defined what he meant by "shifting political paradigm". We certainly know now that his intent all along was to change the electorate and to create greater social and economic justice for minorities and lower income people. He probably sees his policies as very favorable as he has made substantial gains in achieving his goals for our country. He never had any intention of governing in a way that the majority would find favorable.

Can't wait until election day. Having an election night party again. We did it in 2010 as well, had 35 people and it was a blast. Fired up youtube on the big screen and played dozens of political videos in between watching the results come in. Pelosi, Reid, Frank, Bush2, Nixon, Biden, Clinton and others were the stars. Served great local pizza, salad, beer and wine. Virtually nobody has any other plans on election night so you get a big crowd. Really a fun night. Dragged ass the next day but it was well worth it.

I don't know why this is even news. This story just shows how consistent and committed Obama is to open borders. Just like at our southern border, an intruder is welcome. The secret service should be criticized for not catching and releasing the suspect. He should have been taken to a conference room in the white house and asked if he needed a meal, legal representation or transportation to his ultimate destination.
