You realize that of the 300 bills already mentioned that have stopped at Reid's desk include a number of them with Democrat support in the house, right? Obama hasn't asked Harry to move on any of them which makes Obama = to Reid in terms of obstructing them.

No doubt there was a strong negative force against Dems. Republicans have had a pro econimic growth, fiscally responsible and strong foreign polict agenda, but the media doesn't report it much so the NY Times pretends that such an agenda doesn't exist. Now we'll see if the R's can govern responsibly, by the numbers and try to do what's best for America.

I'm not talking about the Harvard's of the world. Good solid schools in this area for example Public Universities of Illinois, Michigan, Iowa, Indiana, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Miami of Ohio or private schools like Dayton, Butler and others graduating lots of kids who are getting good jobs. Our subdivision is full of kids getting jobs and many $50K - $60K+ right out of school. My son is at one of these schools now, had 8 interviews for co-op jobs last month (all paid $15-$20 an hour) and is expecting his 4th co-op offer from those 8 interviews before the end of the week.

Bruce Rauner is about to throw a giant wrench into the Illinois Democrat machine. Rauner's going to win. This is an historic event in Illinois politics electing a Republican businessman with no political experience as Governor. Bravo!!!! This will be fun to watch in the coming years.

College is certainly not a slam dunk but going to a better school and getting better grades, taking advantage of co-op and internship programs that the better schools offer plus potentially being recruited by top companies that interview at the betters schools can make a huge difference.

Once again the big bad private sector is to blame. People borrowed money to get a college education under the assumption that they would get a good job. Now the greedy private sector which is practicing cost control in a slow economic period is choosing not to hire people because they put a higher priority on making a profit than they do in performing their civic duty to hire more people.

There's something wrong with any elected official that wants to stay in office until the age of 82. Says Reid has no life outside of politics. Sad.

Clearly the people's right to vote should be augmented by government's ability to cast votes for people that don't exercise their right to do so.

It's funny here, but in the real world where many voters take their head out of the sand every 2 or 4 years, this kind of crap is effective unfortunately.

Herein lies the liberal problem. Liberals believe that the government should have the right to take earned property from one person and give it to others. Liberals don't like that our country was set up as a higher risk higher reward society and was done so specifically to escape tyrannical governments. Liberals believe that the rich are hoarding money and preventing the economy from growing. Liberals believe that a certain standard of living is a birthright for all American people including millions that entered the country without being invited. Liberals believe that our constitution is flawed and should be changed and if there is not support to change it then it should be ignored. Liberals believe that some people should be given preference over others. It's all bunk.
