  1. Who would waste their time listening to that racist clown?
  2. Right and that electoral fact is such an important piece of information and was the centerpiece of his presentation. Who cares. What's that got to do with $20T in debt, national security issues, illegal immigration issues, jobs/economy, health care/entitlement reform? It's articles like this that help the media earn their roughly 15% approval rating and if the Dem politicians keep up their great work over the past month they'll be looking at more historical losses in the senate and house in 2018. How does 60 republican senate seats sound to those on the left?
  3. Very well said. Simple and to the point.
  4. So you've taken the bait.
  5. Hardly a day goes by when you don't hear a leftist use the phrase "the election was hacked". As if voting machine results everywhere were manipulated by Russian operatives who were working in coordination with the Trump campaign to steal the election. Hillary should have won. Boo !@#$ing hoo.
  6. Russia - Trump, the biggest non-story of the year so far.
  7. Let's take our time and get something done that significantly improves choices and cost for the masses.
  8. This is why there is an approval process, to weed out questionable characters. Glad he's out, go get another one.
  9. He was a Senator at the time which might provide him with cover.
  10. What did Flynn do wrong? What did he speak to the Russian ambassador about?
  11. Mexico has done a terrible job developing their economy.
  12. What's scary though is the amount of crap the left is shoveling and the number of Americans who don't see it as crap.
  13. Again, until we know the nature of the conversations it's all just crazy leftist hysteria.
  14. Until we know the nature of Flynn's contact with the Russian Ambassador, this is a non-story.
  15. They run clockwise at Watkins Glen and Sonoma road courses and require drivers of all colors to do the same.
  16. How's the Rover treatin' ya?
  17. Might be all they are worth.
  18. Beyonce, a victim of racism? http://www.cnn.com/2017/02/13/entertainment/adele-beyonce-racism/index.html The media can't help themselves but to play the race card at every possible opportunity.
  19. Gutsy gal.
  20. Current GPS available to the masses is accurate to 3 meters or less I think, but I'm sure you did some good work before GPS was widely available.
  21. Here in the U.S. we've been practicing this for decades through various federal and state assistance programs.
  22. That sums it up pretty well right there.
  23. and how are Americans suffering?
  24. I saw some of Besty's Q&A during confirmation. She wasn't impressive either way but don't know much about her. I think we have to try and judge her on the job she does which starts now. There are affordable private schools in Illinois that cater well to students with disabilities and have after school programs. Some are church managed and are affordable, much less than $9K. The public schools though are probably better equipped in many instances to deal with the disabled as they're better funded in this area (mandates). As for curing social ills, that is a challenge for many schools and underperforming schools get a bit of a bad rap IMO. Most of what makes a "bad" school is on the kids and parents IMO. You get a higher percentage of those that aren't committed academically and behaviorally. These schools lower expectations for the students with lower grading and behavioral standards. More responsible parents move their kids to private/public schools and so what's left at the public schools is not the best pool of students. Better teachers also often leave those districts so the whole system is weakened. This is happening in Chicago which has a voucher program. Those that "escape" the public system are probably mostly benefiting from being among more committed parents and students. I don't think we can accomplish much in terms of improving underperforming schools without a greater commitment to do well from the parents and students themselves. It's really time for leadership to point out to many parents and students that the "better schools" use the same textbooks and similar methods as the lesser performing schools. More money alone won't fix the gap.
  25. Nice find, and not at all surprising. Most of the media though will let her carry on about school choice for the next 4 years and never discredit her as a flip-flopper.
