  1. This ^ Roberts was the top KR in the league last year for anyone that returned 10+ kicks. He consistently gave the O good field position and only seemed to have made poor decisions a handful of times. Unfortunately we're getting to that point of our roster buildout where paying a KR top money isn't feasible.
  2. My guess is that we don't see Mongo taking a discount😢
  3. There was an article about him and his minimalistic tendencies a few years ago. Can't say I've heard of a vow of poverty though. EDIT: here it is An excerpt:
  4. Not sure how we got to 5 pages... as I'm sure many people have covered in this thread, Joe B said it would cost more to cut him than it would to keep him on the roster. That's all we need to know to speculate if he's on the roster next year or not.
  5. Had a $12M cap hit last year, so I know it's unlikely we look into him, but given that we're likely looking at guards this offseason, I figured I'd share.
  6. Would have preferred to have dropped Butler over Jefferson. Saw the John Brown cut coming unfortunately. Thanks for bridging the WR gap for us, JB ✊
  7. I don't know why, but it seems like Cleveland always has money to spend. Thank you both. With a new TV deal and it being a near certainty that the cap will be significantly higher in 2 years, this type of structure makes complete sense. Savings of $X amount this year is much more impactful than $X amount of dead cap in 2023. Maybe we'll see Beane do the same type of thing.
  8. Who is TBD's resident cap expert who can explain what this means?
  9. I thought the same thing too, but David is 31 whereas Milano is 26. That might impact how much he gets 🤷‍♂️
  10. Yes please. Can't be worse than Winters last season.
  11. I hope we can restructure his deal and keep him on board - he's a leader on this team and even though he's not as good as he once was, he's still serviceable. Last year he was tied for 44th in the league in QB pressures, and I'm willing to bet that he subbed out quite a bit more than the 43 guys ahead of him. The next closest DE on the team? Mario Addison at 146, and Epenesa at 224. It's clear we need a top-flight DE in here, but I still think there's room for a guy like Hughes.
  12. This is where I'm at. I think (hope) the Diggs trade was an infrequent type of thing and that we don't trade away future 1sts for talent. Yes, he's obviously a top-tier player and I'm ecstatic he's on the team/think he helped JA get to the next level - but if we want to be good over the long term, we need to have young, talented players on rookie contracts.
  13. They should probably start with their division, where they went 2-4 last season, before focusing on winning the NFC title 🤷‍♂️
  14. Good for Wilson. If he doesn't think Seattle is moving in the right direction, then he's free to look at alternate options. It was the same for Diggs - didn't like how Minnesota was a run-first team, forced his way out, and both teams made out in the deal.
  15. Kicker, punter, and LS! Beyond that, an argue could be made for nearly every position group.
  16. Beane's not gonna bat 1.000 - no GM is. He has far more hits than he has misses 🤷‍♂️
  17. How about this: Josh Allen is the most athletically-talented/gifted QB in the league. Yes, Rodgers has put it all together and is the complete package. Josh is 24 and has plenty of time for his already-high talent level to catch up to his RIDICULOUSLY high ceiling.
