  1. Pro Bowl proved what a joke it is last year when Poyer / Hyde were both All-Pros but not Pro-Bowlers.
  2. Aaaaaaaaaand Leslie Frazier will still have the DBs 15 yards off the ball
  3. Von Miller wouldn't have made a difference against Cincinnati, the ball came out too fast. We needed to play tighter coverage and not loose. Sure, we didn't give up chunk plays, but Burrows nickle and dimed is to death
  4. We'lll still have Frazier and his defense is very good 95% of the time. The problem is that when we absolutely need someone to make a play, they often fail. Perfect example: 13 seconds
  5. What I don't get is all the work we did to get a pass catching RB, including drafting Cook ... but then never used it

Yeah, but once we got past Hamlin, the rest of our depth safeties are horrible. I think we draft 2 OL, WR, S, LB with our top 5 picks. Pick six ... give me BPA
  7. I would love to double dip at WR, but we only have 6 picks currently (barring trades) and we NEED to double up at OL. That leaves 3 more picks and I would like a S & LB ... leaving one more pick for Best Player Available
  8. We have 6 picks (barring trades). I would like to see us walk away with: WR/OL the first two picks. After that, in Rounds 3-5: Another OL LB Safety Best Player Available in the 6th. For the O-Line, I'd like to see one inside and one tackle Good to know our 5th rounder is Arizona's, so it's 3rd in the 5th round.
  9. on that one Hell ... this kid golfs better than me
  10. No. We have $625K in dead cap this year for the failed OJ Howard. Upgrade WR instead
  11. Maybe I wasn't clear here, but I know he is guaranteed and would need to be traded. There should be teams interested in trading for him. I like what you've got. The only change is I would keep Beasley or Crowder on a one year deal to whoever will take the lowest amount on a 1-year contract
  12. I trust our defense when the game is on the line slightly less than day old gas station sushi during a mid-august power failure in Arizona
  13. Over the last few years, we have invested heavily on the D-Line and it's not paying off, meanwhile the lack for talent on O-Line and WR has continued to suffer. They need to change their approach to D and in that change, I say get rid of Oliver and use the cap room elsewhere
  14. I'm optimistic we can make it to the divisional round of the play-offs. No too optimistic beyond that.
  15. Another thing I would be in full alignment with the coaching staff on personnel. We brought in players to play the slot and did not use them. We invested heavily in pass catching RBs and didn't use them. After all the resources we've invested on D-line the continued failure of that position has to be considered a failure of coaching and/or playcalling
  16. Trade Oliver for cap space. Cut Siran Neal to save 2.8 mil. Top 2 picks at WR and OT. Another WR and 2 safeties later in the draft. Resign Crowder or Beasley for 1 year vet minimum Resign Phillips and Lawson. Try to resign Edmunds if the money is right. Replace Frasier. Add Frank Reich as passing coordinator/ asst HC. Add Greg Roman as run game coordinator
  17. I sent ELI a bag of his favorite snacks
  18. It's the money though. I think we're better off getting what we can for him and spend the money elsewhere. You took the words right out of my mouth
  19. I completely agree ... those are all needs. I'm beating the WR drum because so much beacuse many of the posts I see focus primarily on O-Line & RB and "we can find WR help anywhere"
  20. Josh can use his feet to get away from the rush. He has no targets outside of Knox and Diggs who can get open and catch a ball. We need WR help
  21. Okay ... let's go all in on Barkley so Dorsey can give him 7 carries a game while we chuck the ball 50 yards downfield to Stefon Diggs and a bunch of undrafted free agents. Believe me, I want to have an effective running game ... but big money on Barkley is not the answer. I'd rather bring in Greg Roman as run game coordinator and draft a 4th round RB to go with Cook and Singletary (who we probably can resign cheap)
