  1. If you had a choice of putting a roster together of Bills players in their "Bills" prime from the last 15 years what would your roster look like... Mine would go like this (I am going off memory here so be kind, I may have left someone out) QB Jim Kelly HB Thurman Thomas, McGahee would back him up. FB Sam Gash WR Andre Reed WR Eric Moulds WR Lee Evans TE Keith McKellar (slim pickings, I know there was Pete but he was more of a third tackle who got the tough catch and fell down) OT Will Wolford OG Ruben Brown C Kent Hull OG Jim Richter OT Howard Ballard DE Bruce Smith DT Ted Washinton DT Pat Williams DE Aaron Schobel OLB Cornelius Bennett ILB London Fletcher ILB Sam Cowart OLB Takeo Spikes (would also work in Bryce Paup on passing downs) CB Antoine Winfield CB Nate Odomes SS Henry Jones- Soon to be Whitner FS Troy Vincent (he has not really done enough to deserve this yet but I am confident he will in the next couple years. This was a hard one to pick. Kelso was up there but I nevver liked how he lined up 30 yards off the ball and "tackled gently" It will be something if Ko Simpson can change this drought. K Steve Christie P Brian Moorman KR Terrance McGee
  2. He wont lose any money. From what I remember Zach Thomas' parents where on the top side of loaded. She might be worth more than him.
  3. At least they are hotter than the Browns cheerleaders First thing that popped in my head about the 3rd from the left in the back row..."That's not your mother, It's a man baby"!
  4. Paris Hilton's crabs have herpes. Can this passed to his center if he is not in shotgun? That's hot.
  5. Biggest wishlist tomorrow...OT, OT, OT, after that...go for best available player...Guard was handled in free agency (Reyes), center was handled in free agency (Fowler), we got 2 new DT's (Tripplett & McCargo) and we got our SS and nickel back..
  6. Gotta admit. Re the Whitner pick...I joked with my buddy that Marv got confused and thought it was the 2nd round. But he is a huge Browns fan and we agreed whoever the Browns took was gonna get hurt in his rookie year.
  7. Don't worry, there's always tomorrow and he is still there.
  8. I have to admit I was friggin suprised by the 1st 2 picks. Mike Mayock from NFL network called the Whitner pick in his Mock yesterday and I thought he was smokin something. Alot of people here wanted McCargo in the 2nd anyway and I am not disappointed with any of our 3 picks. I thought they could have traded down and got more picks but who knows. Apparently he fits our new scheme to a tee. I wasn't real upset with the trade up (it essentially cost us 1 3rd rounder) the Steelers got a much worse deal one pick earlier. Nobody can really judge a draft until a few years down the line. To say it was really that good or bad is foolish. These are definetley not the players I would have picked but I am also not naive enough to think that I would have done a better job. Passing on Winston Justice was not popular but probably better in the long run. Time to welcome these new guys to the Bills. After all if it bothers you that bad go cheer for the Eagles...they got who most people on this board wanted.
  9. Who were you excited for the Bills to get in drafts past? These were all based off realistic drops, not the best players that year. 1999- I was hoping for Winfield. Was very happy we got him. 2000- I don't remember who I was hoping for... I think after the Flowers pick I blocked alot out from that day 2001- I wanted Marcus Stroud big time! He went 1 pick earleir to the Jag's. Was very happy when they traded down and got Clements though. 2002- Was hoping Pepper's or Harrington would fall. Also liked Roy Williams. 2003- Wanted Michael Haynes or Jerome McDougle. 2004- Was hoping Roethlisberger or Rivers would fall to us. Also wanted Udeze. 2005- Was hoping David Baas would fall to us. 2006- Hoping for Ngata. Would love Vernon Davis or Brick.
  10. Try and sit next to that lady liberty (if lady liberty were a seasoned hooker) Giants fan. Also, make sure you take the cab with the Bills emblem on the side. This guy picks em right year after year.
  11. Lutui has his own level of fatness. This guys belly & man boobs finished the 40 yard dash 1 second earlier than the rest of him. I'd still love to see him in the 2nd round when we pick.
  12. I have heard Levy & Modrak mention Brodie Croyle on several occassions. They usually talk about him in the same breath as the big three QB's
  13. Good memory of Deion Sanders rookie year when we played the Falcons...Deion was allowed to play offense for the first time and went on a go route...Kelso arrived right when the ball did and he knocked Deion's feet over his head... Only time I ever remember him hitting anybody. He used to be a gentle tackler. Also, always loved to watch Primetime when he got a pick to hear Berman say "Kelso, Kelso, Kelso" in that classic Berman way.
  14. Gotta love in that 12th hour on Saturday when you get up to take a whiz and you feel dizzy! My wife knows to get the two little ones out of the house that day.
  15. Bunkley reminds me of Conlan a bit. Great upper body strength but his legs are always injured. That Wal*Mart thing is the icing. He wasn't a little kid, he was a young adult playing for FSU. Of course he is a good workout warrior... he spent half of his college time rehabbing. It's draft week. Time to change your Mock...I'm curious to see if you will take the character question guys Justice and Dvorcek off your mock.
  16. Here is how I would grade some of the current Bill's if I were the Madden Video Game Grader....For those of you without Madden it is a grade out of 100%. Losman- 79 Mcgahee- 90 Shelton- 77 Evans- 89 Parrish- 82 Price-80 Gandy- 72 Anderson- 69 Fowler- 78 Villarial- 82 Peters- 80 Everett- 80 Royal-78 Schobel- 92 Tripplett- 86 Anderson- 72 Kelsay- 78 Spikes- 95 Fletcher- 90 Posey- 78 McGee- 85 Clements- 90 Vincent- 80 Bowen- 71 Moorman- 96 Lindell- 77 This years draft class Bush- 95 Vernon Davis- 90 Ngata- 87 Bunkley- 84 Justice- 80 Huff-86 Would be curious to see what each of you would change. Also to see what you would rate some of the draft class this year.
  17. I think Price was a good gamble and as cheap as you are going to get a backup receiver these days in the new NFL. I can;t remember a year in history that such marginal talent got HUGE contracts. #2 receivers are being given crazy amounts of money. Do you think Randel El and David Givens are any better than Price was when Atlanta thought he could be a number 1 a couple years back? They were both products of having a more talented wide receiver on the roster opposite them just like Price was. The redskins and Titans will find that out too. This time around Price understands his role and embraces it. As far as I am concerned he is a low cost #2 & worth the gamble.
  18. If I were Marv and Co. I would stay right where I am at. Trade partner possibly Minnesota's #17+ additional later picks (so the Vikings can get Cutler if he is still there) I can't see Huff getting past Detroit at 9. I can't see Ngata getting past Cleveland at 12. Bunkley probably won't get past Baltimore at 13 Justice would possibly go to Atlanta at 15 Who would be next on the wish list at 17? Chad Greenway maybe?
  19. I like how Modrak's comments on BB.com states that he has had a "great" offseason and he is coming off a "good" season. Posturing? I would be upset with Bunkley at 8. Maybe if we traded down and got him....
  20. Justice is just a name mentioned by most mocks and NFL sources as the next best OL behind Da Brick (and he is when soley judging talent) so everyone assumes Da Brick won't fall and thinks "We'll take the next best"...the problem....He does not have the squeaky clean background that you want to invest 25 million dollars into. Let him be someone else's problem. I can't imagine anyone looking for high character guys taking him. Not when there are other picks that would be equally as productive for this team. Two major issues in 8 mos? Show's he may have a tough time learning from his mistakes. He HAD to come back for his senior season because nobody was gonna touch this guy last year. Keeping your nose clean for one year, then signing a HUGE contract for being drafted #8 overall....I don't see it. Jennings was a 3rd rounder and Peters was an UDFA so there is light beyond the first round.
  21. Sorry not trying to gloat....just give everyone a better alternative than 5 mos old text messages
  22. Because there is a slim possibility Da Brick Hawk Davis assuming they are gone... Ngata
