  1. I got an 8125 from Cingular. Full internet...none of this V Coach crap. I can even reply to you guys on it.
  2. Sapp ways 300 lbs the way Ted Washington & Pat Williams weighed 325 for years!
  3. After I posted I found this on KFL...not really much info..... Bills | Team conducts pre-draft visit with Ngata Tue, 18 Apr 2006 18:09:13 -0700 WGR550 reports the Buffalo Bills conducted a pre-draft visit with Oregon DT Haloti Ngata Tuesday, April 18. Ngata did visit with the coaching staff and front office people but, Ngata may not be a good fit with the club's new defensive scheme. Under new defensive coordinator Perry Fewell, a lighter, quicker tackle may be the better fit. Obviously these guys have never heard of names like Corey Simon, Warren Sapp, and Booger McFarland... I remember how bad the colts line got creamed over the past few years with 2 light DT's. Manning and co needed to score 50 points a game to keep them in it.
  4. Oregon defensive tackle Haloti Ngata: Monday -- Baltimore Tuesday -- Buffalo Wednesday -- Cleveland Thursday -- Jets
  5. Definetely Ngata although we may not have the chance though... A few teams ahead of us are also looking at him (Jets, Pack, Raiders). That can't be said for Broderick Flowers. I don't care what the guy looks like in shorts and a muscle shirt and frankly I have to cringe every time I hear someone say it. There is no reason a guys stock would rise that much after the games are played unless your looking for a model & not a football player. This is the most ridculous topic on the board. Seriously now...wouldn't Goldberg still be playing? Hopefully Modrak and Co don;t believe the Bunkley Hype.
  6. Hawk then Ngata then someone other than Bunkley. I don't want Erik Flowers Jr. unless it's in the middle 1st round.
  7. I've said it before, how many rookies can one team handle? We don't want extra picks. I would package some of our later round picks together and try and move up. The only thing that got me through the end of last season was the thought we would have a good draft pick... I wont be able to handle trading down!
  8. Reed & Price. Givens was a product of how terribly bad the WR market was this year.
  9. Watching the draft on my big screen with some buddies and devouring 100 or so Duff's wings.
  10. I think you are going to see a very predictable top 10 draft... 1. Reggie Bush- Texans 2. Mario Williams- Saints 3. Matt Leinart- Titans 4. D'Brickashaw Ferguson- Jets 5. A.J. Hawk- Packers 6. Vernon Davis- 49ers 7. Vince Young- Raiders 8. Haloti Ngata- Bills 9. Michael Huff- Lions 10. Jay Cutler- Cardinals Obviously 1 team can throw a monkey wrench in things but the top 10 seems more predictable then recent years.
  11. Bunkley is not that much faster... 4.94 to Ngata's 5.12 And that's with an extra 32 lbs on Ngata. Plus my only issue with Bunkley is that he wasn't talked about a ton (even though he went to one of the most prolific college football teams in the country) until his "after the season" workouts. FSU is one of my favorite college teams and I would still pick Ngata. I wouldn't mind trading up. How many rookies do we really want on this team in '06? if we used all our picks and kept all the players we drafted that would be 9 rookies not counting UDFA's.
  12. I wouldn't mind if the Bills picked up any of these guys at #8... Pipe dreams...Folks likely gone before we pick (in order of who I would like the Bills to get). I would take any of these players if they dropped to us. D'Brickashaw Ferguson Mario Williams Reggie Bush Vernon Davis A.J Hawk Matt Lienart Vince Young Great consolation prizes in order of what I would like to see assuming the other 7 are gone Haloti Ngata- I just watched the Bengals game again and our DL got blown off the ball. They did much worse than our OL did. Teams that run the cover 2 successfully usually have a Big Nasty in the middle. Look at the Bucs with McFarland and Sapp before him. The colts had smaller DT's for years and usually got mowed down. They did better this year when Corey Simon was in. Michael Huff- Losing Milloy is gonna hurt. This would help. People I would rather not have but I would eventually get over it, if Marv and co. took. Broderick Bunkley- Erik Flowers Jr. Maybe a little better We already have our smaller DT in Tripplett Winston Justice- Big character risk IMO. Jimmy Williams- We are only borrowing Nate this year. Jay Cutler- JP Losman Jr. Would rather not give up on Losman so quick and waste the pick. Nobody else is worth it.........
  13. Aside from DaBrick, Super Mario, and maybe Davis (who should all be gone before our pick) this would be the best fit for us at #8. I'm trying to get excited about Bunkley but I can't for some reason. Bunkley reminds me too much of Flowers. Nobody's draft stock should shoot up or down that quick after the season.
  14. WAAAAA I don't want Peerless becasue he stunk with the Falcons. With Michael Vick at QB the Falcons have ruined alot of receiver stats. I see no downside in this pickup. Unless that is you thought Fast Freddy was gonna have a chance at the starting lineup .Good move signing Price.
  15. Parrish with a cheesburger strapped to his back Vs. Bennie Anderson
  16. That's the LA Baseketball team. That was a great movie. I liked the Dallas Fellons, NJ Informers, SanFrancisco Ferries, and of course Milwaukee Beers.
  17. I know it was in Buffalo, but we didn't do too bad the last time we opened the season with NE.
  18. "Throw me the ball JP I'm open!, oh crap he got sacked again".
  19. Agreed. Enough with this Winston Justice at #8 overall talk. We all know the guy is really talented...but hey... so were Laurence Phillips & Cecil Collins. Justice goes to one of the most prolific college football teams, is rated as a top NFL prospect a couple years before he is even draft eligable, and with all the attention on him and millions of dollars in his future, he still makes 2 really stupid (and illegal) mistakes in three years. This makes you wonder how much of an idiot this guy really is. Was the guy really that hard up for a date? Was it really that funny to scare your friends with a fake gun. What a dumb ass. We need the OL help, but not from this guy.
  20. No way Marv takes a "Character question mark" type guy at #8. At least in the later rounds (and I know Justice wont last) you can say...it's worth a shot.
  21. Definetely concerened about both lines but not as much (must have missed that part of the topic) as the lack of "proven" playmakers past Evans in the passing game. Probably more do to with what is in the draft. i feel that OL and DL are much deeper in this draft than WR. True the QB needs time to deliver, and I know they will not ignore the OL, but there is no OL in this draft beyond Brick who will be worth taking with the #8 pick. That being said Vernon Davis is worth that high of a pick. Also, there is some real value at C, G, and Tackle in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.
  22. Don't wanna dis Willis as he is one of my favorites. Topic was more about the passing game.
  23. Something really scary about this team past Lee Evans & maybe Parrish or Everett (who are both still a relative unknown). Ngata or Vernon Davis at 8, or trade down.
