  1. I feel bad laughing at that headline!
  2. A little wisdom from Al Bundy... Christmas is not the time for regrets. That's what anniversaries are for. Pretty women make us buy beer. Ugly women make us drink beer. Don't try to understand women. Women understand women and they hate each other.
  3. We Built This City - by Jefferson Starship! (it's about building a city on rock and roll!!!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1b8AhIsSYQ

  5. Can we start euthanizing every idiot that incorrectly uses the freedom of speech argument? How hard is it to understand that freedom of speech only protects you from government punishment?

  11. And Rodak is wrong yet again! Sorry I couldn't copy his tweet about Tuesday's offer deadline passing without an offer.
  12. Just saw on PFT that Green Bay is closing in on a deal with Bulaga. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/03/10/packers-closing-in-on-a-deal-to-keep-tackle-bryan-bulaga/
  13. Could Buffalo pull the offer at any time while Miami is considering matching? I can't seem to find that answer in any of the searches I've done. If they have that option, they could still work on signing another TE while waiting for Miami to match.
  14. I just watched the Chris Brown interview and am very impressed with Hughes' attitude and enthusiasm. Huge contract aside, the guy seems genuinely excited to play for the Bills and with a defense that he repeatedly talks about being a very close bunch of guys. Can't wait to see how scary they are in 2015!
  15. Coumo personifies the slimy politician stereotype. His patronizing nature toward any area north of NYC is one reason for my dislike. His insistence on "feel-good" BS gun regulations are a major sticking point with me. The SAFE act is one of the most misguided and useless bunch of laws ever enacted. Not a single person will be saved by his asinine requirement that you only fill a 10 round magazine with 7 rounds. (criminals intent on killing people won't follow that law). He touted the fact that he "created" Text Stops along the thruway. What he really did was spend a bunch of $ on signs that were tacked on to the current rest stop signs. If you are too stupid to realize that you can pull over to text at a rest stop, you probably shouldn't be driving a motor vehicle in the first place. But it got his face in the paper. Coumo never met a camera that he didn't like. He is enemy # 1 with educators in the state right now too. I'm sure I could dig up other examples, but this isn't PPP so I'll just end by stating that he isn't one of my favorite people and it wouldn't upset me to see him get kicked in the nuts by a buffalo.
  16. I would like to see Andrew Coumo trampled by a buffalo.
  17. Killing the attacker is totally irrelevant to the situation. You are stopping a threat, whether that means killing or injuring or scaring away. If I ever need to shoot at an attacker I don't care at all if he dies or not. My life was in danger and I did what I needed to do to survive. Aiming at center mass is the most effective way to stop a threat. Your preoccupation with the shoot to kill/not kill stuff would be music to a lawyer's ears and you would most likely end up as a defendant at trial after a self defense shooting. If you want to further understand what we are talking about, I highly recommend reading some of the Massad Ayoob books. In The Gravest Extreme should be required reading for anyone that owns a gun and thinks there could be any possibility of using it against an attacker at some point. Lawyers and prosecutors will eat you alive if you don't know what to say and how to act after a shooting. http://www.amazon.com/In-Gravest-Extreme-Personal-Protection/dp/0936279001
  18. If you ever have to shoot someone, you shoot to stop the threat. If the threat dies or lives is not your concern. The only objective is to render the criminal incapable of doing you harm. You aim for center mass and keep firing until the threat is no longer a threat or until you run out of rounds. Simple. And if you are dumb enough to tell a cop that "you didn't mean to kill the attacker" after a fatality, get ready to go to jail. You tell them "my life was in immediate danger and I defended myself"
